Atlanta Dream on the ML. Slam Dunk Play. Game 634. 7:00 PM PST/10:00 PM EST. Can someone please explain to me why a team that is on a six-game losing streak, is only a small underdog against a team that has won six straight? This just doesn't make sense to me, my friends. The Storm has dropped and failed to cover six in a row, and eight of their last 10 games, which includes a 10-point beating as a favorite of 3.5-points, at home just a few nights ago, to this very same opponent. I feel the oddsmakers are giving Seattle way too much credit here as a visitor. They are struggling badly. Their offense has been erratic, while their defense has gotten absolutely steamrolled. Meanwhile, Atlanta is red-hot, as I mentioned earlier, winning six in a row, and eight of their last nine straight up, and covering seven of those last night outings against the spread. They are playing excellent basketball, and are looking to maintain a lead in the Eastern Conference. The Liberty are just over their shoulder, a game back, and they know they must keep their foot on the gas. Take the Dream on the ML. Thank you. |

Los Angeles Sparks. Oddsmaker's Mistake Play. Game 625. 4:30 PM PST 7:30 PM EST. I think the line in this contest is short. Los Angeles is playing good basketball, winning and covering seven of their last 10 games. As a matter of fact, they've also been money on the road, winning and covering five of their last six games played as a visitor. Dallas, on the other hand is struggling badly, losing seven of their last 10 straight up. The Sparks have had their way with the Wings, winning three of the last four meetings straight up, and covering four straight in this rivalry, which does include the only meeting this season back at the beginning of June on the road, 93-79. I doubt very much you will see any different of an outcome in this August matchup. Take Los Angeles. Thank you. |

Atlanta Dream. Slam Dunk Play. Game 623. 7:00 PM PST/10:00 PM EST. I feel the line in this matchup is off. Atlanta enters this matchup winning five in a row, and eight of their last 10 straight up, covering four straight, and seven of those last 10 outings. This does include five straight up wins on the road, covering four of those five games. They took the most recent matchup against Seattle back at the beginning of July at home, 80-79. Speaking of the Storm, they are struggling, losing and failing to cover five consecutive games. Going back a little further, they have lost and failed to cover four straight at the Climate Pledge Arena. Even if Dreams starting guard, Canada is out again (check status as she is day-to-day), it doesn't matter. This team has enough firepower, and enough momentum to get a big victory here today. Please remember Atlanta has a real opportunity to take over the top spot in the Eastern conference. Maybe even the number two seed overall in the WNBA. Just to err on the side of caution, take the Atlanta Dream. Thank you. |

Las Vegas Aces on the Moneyline. Game 624. 7:00 PM PST/10:00 PM EST. After a difficult start to the season, the Vegas is starting to heat up. They enter today's contest winning seven of their last 10, and covering four of their last five games. Seattle, which owns the same record as their opponent tonight (16-14) are struggling. The team has dropped three in a row, and six of their last 10 straight up, only covering three of those 10 outings. This is a team, during their current three-game slide, that was favored in all three of those games, and lost out-right. I just see the momentum of the Aces, especially at home in front of the loyal followers, to be the deciding factor here. Take Las Vegas. Thank you. |

Indiana Fever. Game 625. 12:00 PM PST 3:00 PM EST. I really don't see the line being very sharp here. I feel the oddsmakers are looking to bait us. But we aren't gonna’ fall for it. Indiana has won and covered the last two meeting in this series, one from last August, and one from about five or six weeks ago. They enter this matchup striding, winning and covering four straight, including both games played as a visitor. Meanwhile, Seattle has been inconsistent, splitting out their last 10 games straight up, and only covering four of those 10 contests. During that span, they are only 1-4 ATS in the five games played at the Climate Pledge Arena. The Fever have set out to do something, and are doing it. They are winning without Caitlin Clark on the floor. They are proving to the rest of the league they are a team to be reckoned with. I feel they have what it takes to win this game outright. But I will take the points the oddsmakers are giving us as a gift. Taking the Indiana. Thank you. |

Indiana Fever. Game 611. 4:30 PM PST/7:30 PM EST. Many people out there felt without Caitlin Clark on the floor the Indiana Fever would fall apart. Well folks, they're playing pretty good basketball with their star player sidelined. They enter today's contest winning and covering three straight outings. They have started to win on the road, and have dominated the Dallas Wings. The Fever have taken four in a row in this rivalry going back to September of last season, two home and two on the road. They have won and covered both matchups this season by eight and 19 points. The Wings are struggling, dropping seven of their last nine straight up, and five of those nine against the spread. I feel Indiana is out to prove that they can win without Clark on the floor, and make a statement to the rest of the league. Take the Fever. Thank you. |
