01-18-24 | Maple Leafs -124 v. Flames | Top | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 18 h 51 m | Show |
At 9:05 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Maple Leafs over the Calgary Flames. The Maple Leafs continue their tour of the Northwest as they visit the Flames tonight followed by Vancouver and Seattle this weekend. They hope things go better than they did in Edmonton on Tuesday when they lost to the red-hot Oilers despite jumping out to a 2-0 lead. Speaking of red-hot (with no pun intended) that's exactly what the Flames are right now, having won four straight and seven of their last nine. But three of those last four have come against the Senators and Coyotes (twice) and their overall record is still a sub-par 21-18-5. One of the best goalies in the league in the first half, Calgary's Jacob Markstrom missed the last game with a lower-body injury and it's questionable whether he will see action tonight. Similarly, one of the Flames' best offensive players, Jonathan Huberdeau missed the last one due to illness and is also questionable to play. The Leafs have won seven of the last nine meetings with the Flames going back to March 20, 2021. Take Toronto. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.

01-18-24 | Louisiana-Monroe +19.5 v. James Madison | Top | 70-89 | Win | 100 | 11 h 8 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks + the points over James Madison. The Dukes have lost 2 of their last 3 games to fall to 15-2 on the season. We played against James Madison in each of those 2 defeats, and we'll go against them tonight as a huge home favorite. JMU is a poor 68-98 ATS at home off a SU loss. Take Monroe + the points. |
01-18-24 | St. Thomas v. South Dakota +6 | Top | 73-74 | Win | 100 | 11 h 7 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the South Dakota Coyotes + the points over St. Thomas. The Coyotes enter tonight's home game vs. the Tommies on a 4-game ATS losing streak. We'll grab the points with the home pup, as South Dakota is 9-1 ATS when it failed to cover its four previous games. Take the Coyotes. |
01-18-24 | Portland State v. Northern Arizona +5.5 | Top | 65-84 | Win | 100 | 11 h 7 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks + the points over Portland St. The Vikings have been installed as a road favorite. But they're a soft 7-18 ATS when favored, and also 6-16 ATS vs. conference foes. Take Northern Arizona + the ponts. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-18-24 | Hampton v. Hofstra -17.5 | Top | 77-86 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 11 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Hofstra Pride minus the points over Hampton. The Pirates have lost their last eight games, and have failed to cover their last five. Their last defeat was an absolute heartbreaker, as they fell by a single point, 81-80, to NC A&T. This game will not be close, though, and we'll lay the points with Hofstra, as Hampton is a horrible 0-10 ATS after a loss by 3 points or less. Additionally, it's 5-14 ATS when it had lost its 3 previous games. Take Hofstra minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-18-24 | Green Bay v. Wright State -9.5 | Top | 88-81 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 9 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Wright St. Raiders minus the points over Wisconsin-Green Bay. The Phoenix come into this game off back to back wins over IUPUI and Cleveland St. Unfortunately, they're 44-69 ATS off back to back wins over conference foes. And they're 18-34 ATS as an underdog. Lay the points with Wright St. |
01-17-24 | Auburn v. Vanderbilt +11.5 | Top | 80-65 | Loss | -105 | 14 h 51 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Vanderbilt Commodores + the points over Auburn. Vandy is off to an 0-3 start in the SEC, while Auburn has won each of its 3 conference games. The Commodores have been installed as a double-digit home dog tonight. We'll grab the points as Vandy is 41-27-2 ATS as a home dog vs. conference foes with a winning SEC record. Additionally, double-digit SEC underdogs have gone 150-93-2 ATS in conference games off losses by 12+ points. Take the Commodores. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-17-24 | Texas Tech v. Houston -11.5 | Top | 54-77 | Win | 100 | 14 h 50 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Houston Cougars minus the points over Texas Tech. The Cougars were 14-0 going into their 2-game road trip last week. Unfortunately, Kelvin Sampson's men stumbled badly, and lost both games (at Iowa State and at TCU). We'll take the Coogs to bounce back tonight, as they're a jaw-dropping 54-20 ATS on an ATS losing streak (and 14-4 ATS on a 2-game (or worse) ATS losing streak). Even better: Texas Tech is a terrible 40-65 ATS as an underdog of 9+ points. Lay the points with the Cougars. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-17-24 | Magic v. Hawks -3.5 | Top | 104-106 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 30 m | Show |
At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Atlanta Hawks minus the points over Orlando. This is the 2nd time in the last 11 days that these Southeast division rivals have met. The Magic won in overtime, 117-110, earlier this month, and we'll take the Hawks to avenge that defeat. Atlanta had one of its best halves of basketball its last time out, as it sprinted to a 35-point lead against the San Antonio Spurs after two quarters. Atlanta took its foot off the gas in the 2nd half to let the Spurs back into the game, but won by 10, 109-99. The Hawks are a solid 45-29-1 ATS as a revenge-minded home favorite vs. a division rival. And the Magic are a wallet-breaking 42-57-2 ATS off a SU/ATS win, if they were a road underdog vs. a revenge-minded foe. Lay the points with the Hawks. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-16-24 | Utah State v. New Mexico -5.5 | Top | 86-99 | Win | 100 | 14 h 10 m | Show |
At 10:30 pm, our selection is on the New Mexico Lobos minus the points over Utah St. This is the 2nd of back to back home games for New Mexico, as it blew out San Diego St, 88-70, on Saturday. Meanwhile, this is the 2nd of back to back road games for the Aggies, as they defeated UNLV, 87-86, on Saturday, as a 2-point favorite. We'll fade the Aggies as a road underdog tonight, as they're 29-51 ATS as a road underdog in the 2nd of back to back road games, including 9-27 ATS vs. foes off a SU/ATS win. Take the Lobos. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-16-24 | Kings v. Suns -4.5 | Top | 117-119 | Loss | -115 | 13 h 52 m | Show |
At 9:10 pm, our selection is on the Phoenix Suns minus the points over the Sacramento Kings. The Suns currently reside in 8th place in the Western Conference standings, which is not what many pundits expected out of this talent-laden team. Sacramento is two games ahead of Phoenix, in 5th place. We'll lay the points with Phoenix, as it's 33-16 ATS vs. division rivals with a better record, if Phoenix wasn't getting more than 3 points. Moreover, the Suns lost to the Kings in the prior meeting, and are 34-18 ATS when favored and playing with revenge. Take the Suns. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie |
01-16-24 | Temple +14 v. SMU | Top | 64-77 | Win | 100 | 12 h 34 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Temple Owls + the points over SMU. Temple enters tonight's game off back to back losses at home vs. East Carolina, and at North Texas, while SMU won its previous game, 75-64, at East Carolina. We'll take Temple to bounce back tonight, as the Owls are a strong 20-7-1 ATS off back to back losses, if they were an underdog vs. a conference foe off a win. Take Temple + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-16-24 | Richmond v. Duquesne -3.5 | Top | 63-61 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 36 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Duquesne Dukes minus the points over Richmond. The Spiders downed George Mason, 77-70, at home on Saturday. We'll fade Richmond on the road tonight, as it's a poor 3-11 ATS in the regular season off a conference win. And it also falls into a negative 51-110 ATS system of mine which fades certain teams off 4+ ATS wins. Lay the points with the Dukes. |
01-16-24 | Missouri +15 v. Alabama | Top | 75-93 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 34 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Missouri Tigers + the points over Alabama. The Tigers have lost their last three games SU/ATS, while 'Bama has won its last 5 games SU, after defeating Miss State, 82-74, on the road. Since 1990, underdogs of > 14 points have covered 60% of SEC Conference games if they weren't off a SU/ATS win. Take Missouri + the points. |
01-16-24 | Buffalo +15.5 v. Toledo | Top | 66-77 | Win | 100 | 11 h 33 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Buffalo Bulls + the points over Toledo. The Bulls were blown out, 76-59, at Akron, on Saturday. We'll take the Bulls to bounce back tonight, as they're 21-6 ATS off a loss by 15+ points, including 8-1 ATS as a double-digit underdog, while Toledo is 8-16-1 ATS vs. a foe off a loss by 15+ points. Take Buffalo. |
01-16-24 | Samford v. Western Carolina -1.5 | Top | 75-71 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 36 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Western Carolina Catamounts minus the points over Samford. The Catamounts come into this game off 9 straight wins, including back to back blowouts over East Tennessee St and Mercer. We'll take Western Carolina to continue its solid play, as it's 11-2 ATS off a double-digit win. And it falls into a 256-161 ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams off back to back SU/ATS wins. Lay the points. |
01-15-24 | Eagles v. Bucs OVER 43 | Top | 9-32 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 37 m | Show |
At 8:15 pm, our selection is on the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers to go OVER the total. Last week, the Tampa Bay Bucs won, 9-0, at Carolina. Off that extremely low scoring game, we'll look for a bounce higher tonight. Indeed, NFL games have gone OVER the total 62-40-3 when the line was < 46 points, if a team's prior game totaled less than 14 points (including 4-1 Over in the Playoffs). Likewise, Tampa has gone Over the total 16 of 21 at home following a low-scoring game which totaled 28 points or less. Finally, the Eagles are 31-11 Over the total when the line was 44 < points, if the Eagles scored less than 24 points in their previous game. Take the Over. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-15-24 | Chicago State v. Stetson -9.5 | Top | 77-70 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 44 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Stetson Hatters minus the points over Chicago State. This will be Chicago State's final game of an 8-game road trek, while the Hatters will return home off back to back road games. Last month, the Cougars upset the Hatters, 77-54, as 7.5-point home underdogs. We'll take the revenge-minded Hatters tonight, as Stetson is 22-7 ATS when playing with revenge, including 8-1 ATS if it lost the prior meeting by 15+ points. And the Hatters are also 9-3 ATS at home off back to back road games. Finally, the Hatters fall into a 59% ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams that lost to their opponent earlier in the season by more than 20 points. Take the Hatters minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-15-24 | Steelers v. Bills -10 | Top | 17-31 | Win | 100 | 50 h 46 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers to go Over the total. The weather forecast for Buffalo, NY on Sunday is calling for winds in the 15 to 25 mph range. This has caused the O/U line to be adjusted downward. I think the move has been too severe, and that there's value on the over. Buffalo's home playoff games have also tended to be relatively high scoring, as the Over has cashed 10 straight when the O/U line was 44 points or less. Likewise, the Steelers are 15-1 Over their last 16 Playoff games (and 24-6 Over their last 30) when the O/U line was 44 points or less. Take the Over. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-15-24 | Steelers v. Bills OVER 36.5 | Top | 17-31 | Win | 100 | 50 h 45 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers to go Over the total. |
01-15-24 | Dartmouth +18 v. Princeton | Top | 58-76 | Push | 0 | 12 h 45 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Dartmouth Big Green + the points over Princeton. The Big Green dropped their Ivy League opener to the Penn Quakers, 80-51. And that was Dartmouth's 3rd straight loss. We'll take the Big Green this afternoon, as they're 10-1 ATS as double-digit dogs off 3+ losses. And Princeton is 10-23 ATS at home vs. foes off back to back losses. Grab the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-15-24 | Seattle Kraken v. Penguins -134 | Top | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 53 m | Show |
At 1:05 pm, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Penguins over the Seattle Kraken. The game time was moved up 5 hours so as to not conflict with the Steelers/Bills game at 4:30 pm today. Pittsburgh enters this contest off back to back overtime losses, while the Kraken are currently riding a 9-game win streak, following a 7-4 win at Columbus. And Seattle's 9-game streak has followed closely on the heels of an 8-game losing streak, which stretched from Nov. 24 thru Dec. 10. I like the Penguins to snap Seattle's streak, as Pittsburgh is 73-34 at home after allowing 3+ goals in back to back games. And it's 5-3 this season off back to back losses. Meanwhile, the Kraken are 1-4 this season after scoring more than 4 goals. Take the Penguins. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-14-24 | Rams v. Lions -3 | Top | 23-24 | Loss | -115 | 155 h 24 m | Show |
At 8:15 pm, our selection is on the Detroit Lions minus the points over the Los Angeles Rams. Los Angeles went into San Francisco and upset the 49ers last Sunday, 21-20, while Detroit downed the Minnesota Vikings, 30-20. The Lions have excelled since Dan Campbell took over as head coach. They've gone 21-13 SU and 24-9-1 ATS, including an awesome 16-2-1 ATS vs. foes that didn't have a losing record. On Sunday night, the Lions will welcome the Rams to Ford Field for Detroit's first home playoff game in 30 years. This will be the Rams' 3rd straight road game, and NFL single-digit dogs off an upset win, and playing their 3rd straight road game have covered just 35.7% since 1980. Additionally, the Rams are a poor 14-29 ATS off back to back wins (including 1-7 ATS off an upset win). Take Detroit. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-14-24 | Washington v. UCLA +3 | Top | 61-73 | Win | 100 | 18 h 33 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the UCLA Bruins + the points over the Washington Huskies. Four days ago, the Bruins suffered their worst defeat since Stanford blew them out, 109-61, back on Jan. 9, 1997. UCLA was an 8.5-point underdog this past Thursday at Utah, and was walloped 90-44, so it failed to cover the spread by 37.5 points. That was the Bruins' 4th straight loss (and 3rd straight ATS loss). I look for the Bruins to bounce back, as they're 15-3 ATS at home off a loss by 15+ points. And they're also 14-7 ATS their last 21 vs. Washington. Meanwhile, Washington is a poor 6-22-2 ATS on the road vs. foes on a 3-game ATS losing streak, including 1-8-1 ATS as a favorite, and 0-12-1 ATS vs. foes that failed to cover by > 5 points in their previous game. Finally, UCLA's 46-point loss at Utah has triggered a 600-400-26 ATS system of mine. We'll take the Bruins as a home dog. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-14-24 | Packers v. Cowboys -7.5 | Top | 48-32 | Loss | -100 | 152 h 39 m | Show |
At 4:30 pm, our selection is on the Dallas Cowboys minus the points over Green Bay. The Cowboys annihilated their opponents here, at home, this season. Dallas went 8-0 and covered the point spread by an average of 12.87 ppg! Dating back to last season, the Cowboys' home win streak is 16 games, and it's gone 12-4 ATS, and has covered the spread in those home games by 9.78 ppg. Green Bay was 4-5 ATS on the road this season (but 1-5 ATS in non-division road games, compared to 3-0 ATS vs. its division rivals). Dallas and Green Bay did meet last season at Lambeau Field, and the Packers came away with a 31-28 victory. Unfortunately for the Packers, revenge-minded favorites of -7 (or more) points have covered 67% in the NFL Playoffs. Take Dallas minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-13-24 | Portland +17 v. San Francisco | Top | 69-96 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 41 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the Portland Pilots + the points over San Francisco. Portland was blown out, 95-52, at St. Mary's on Thursday. We'll take the Pilots to bounce back off that 43-point loss, as it triggered a 599-397 ATS system of mine. Additionally, the Dons are a dreadful 8-18 ATS when favored by 14+ points vs. foes not off an ATS win. Take Portland + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-13-24 | Pacific +15.5 v. Loyola Marymount | Top | 64-81 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 40 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Pacific Tigers + the points over Loyola Marymount. When these two West Coast Conference foes last met, the Lions edged the Tigers, 90-88, as a 9.5-point home favorite. We'll take Pacific tonight, as a big underdog, as the Lions are a terrible 14-40 ATS at home vs. revenge-minded conference foes, including 3-22 ATS when favored vs. foes off a loss. Take Pacific + the points. |
01-13-24 | Dolphins +4 v. Chiefs | Top | 7-26 | Loss | -114 | 131 h 24 m | Show |
At 8:15 pm, our selection is on the Miami Dolphins + the points over Kansas City. The Chiefs' offense was a mess for much of the season, and it finished the regular season with an offensive average of 21.82 ppg. In contrast, Miami averaged 29.0 ppg. To put Kansas City's number into context, it averaged 35.31, 28.18, 29.56, 28.23, and 29.17 ppg over the previous five seasons. We'll grab the points with the Dolphins as underdogs have cashed 67% the last 44 seasons in the Playoffs, if their offense averaged 4.30+ ppg more than their opponent. Take Miami. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-13-24 | Rockets v. Celtics -15.5 | Top | 113-145 | Win | 100 | 11 h 57 m | Show |
At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Boston Celtics minus the points over Houston. We played against Boston two nights ago, and were rewarded with a blowout win by Milwaukee, 135-102. Tonight, they'll welcome the Rockets to Boston, and the Rockets won, 112-110, last night vs. Detroit. We'll take the Celtics to bounce back off that loss, as they're 16-4-1 ATS at home vs. unrested opponents off a SU win, if the Celtics are rested. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-13-24 | Avalanche v. Maple Leafs -110 | Top | 5-3 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 45 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Maple Leafs over the Colorado Avalanche. Hockey fans in Canada know just how special a talent Auston Matthews is. And with the All Star Game coming up here in Toronto in about three weeks, the 26-year-old superstar will have a chance to show a National Audience as well. Matthews led the NHL in goals scored for two straight seasons but last season the Leafs' Center had a bit of a down campaign scoring "only" 40 goals in 70 games. But he's back to his old self now, leading the league with 33 markers in 38 games as of this writing. Matthews and the Leafs will host the Avs for the first time since last March tonight at Scotiabank Arena. Colorado's success at home is well documented and they're at it again this season with a stellar 18-5 record in Denver. But on the road the Avs have struggled as they've managed just nine wins in 19 games away from home. They're without the injured Lehkonen and Landeskog and now you can also add LW Miles Wood to that list as he will be out for the fourth straight game with an illness. Take Toronto. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.
01-13-24 | VMI +24 v. Samford | Top | 96-134 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 41 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the VMI Keydets + the points over Samford. The Bulldogs are riding a 14-game wins streak, and have covered eight straight. We'll fade Samford this evening, as the Keydets are an awesome 33-11-1 ATS as an underdog of 5+ points vs. .501 (or better) opponents off a SU win. Take VMI + the points. |
01-13-24 | Georgia Tech +17.5 v. Duke | Top | 79-84 | Win | 100 | 9 h 47 m | Show |
At 5 pm, our selection is on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets + the points over Duke. The Yellow Jackets already defeated Duke earlier this season, as they upset the Blue Devils, 72-68, back on December 2. We'll take the Yellow Jackets as a big underdog as Duke is a soft 7-18 ATS when playing with revenge vs. conference foes, and favored by more than 13 points. Take Georgia Tech. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-13-24 | Browns v. Texans +3 | Top | 14-45 | Win | 100 | 128 h 45 m | Show |
At 4:30 pm, our selection is on the Houston Texans + the points over Cleveland. The Texans punched a spot into the Playoffs with a road win at Indianapolis, while Cleveland rested many of its players, and mailed in its game at Cincy last week, with a 31-14 loss. These two teams met here, in Houston, three weeks ago, and the Browns were victorious, 36-22. We'll take Houston to avenge that loss, as revenge-minded NFL home teams have cashed 69% in the Playoffs if the two teams recently met within the three previous games. Even better: the Browns are a wallet-breaking 0-12 ATS off a SU/ATS loss if it defeated its opponent earlier in the season. Grab the points with Houston. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-13-24 | Appalachian State +6 v. James Madison | Top | 59-55 | Win | 100 | 8 h 43 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Appalachian St. Mountaineers + the points over James Madison. The Dukes are a wallet-busting 64-95-1 ATS at home vs. conference foes, including 44-83-1 ATS if they weren't favored by 7+ points. Take the Mountaineers. |
01-13-24 | CS-Fullerton +4.5 v. CS-Northridge | Top | 71-76 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 43 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Cal State Fullerton Titans + the points over Cal State Northridge. We played against the Matadors on Thursday and got the $$$ with Cal Davis, as the Aggies ended Northridge's 7-game win streak. We'll go against the Matadors again this afternoon, as they're 23-42 ATS at home off a double-digit loss. Take Fullerton. |
01-13-24 | Kentucky v. Texas A&M -2.5 | Top | 92-97 | Win | 100 | 6 h 46 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Texas A&M Aggies minus the points over Kentucky. The Aggies have dropped their last two games SU, and have failed to cover the spread in four straight. We'll take the Aggies to bounce back tonight, as SEC Conference teams off back to back losses have gone 100-61-5 ATS when favored over a conference foe with a winning conference record. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-13-24 | Oakland v. IUPU-Indianapolis +13.5 | Top | 88-66 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 44 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the IUPUI Jaguars + the points over Oakland. The Jaguars are currently riding a 4-game losing streak following their 10-point home loss to Green Bay. We'll take IUPUI + the points, as they're 16-6-1 ATS as a double-digit conference underdog, while Oakland is a horrid 6-14 ATS as a double-digit conference favorite. Take IUPUI. |
01-13-24 | Bradley v. Illinois-Chicago +4 | Top | 77-59 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 44 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Illinois-Chicago Flames + the points over Bradley. The Flames have lost their last 5 games to the spread, while Bradley is 4-0-1 ATS its last five, and has won its last 5 straight-up. We'll take Illinois-Chicago to snap its ATS losing streak, as .316 (or better) Missouri Valley Conference teams have cashed 60.1% when they were on 3-game (or worse) ATS losing streaks, and their opponent was off a SU/ATS win. Take Illinois-Chicago. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

01-13-24 | Vanderbilt +10.5 v. Ole Miss | Top | 56-69 | Loss | -115 | 5 h 47 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Vanderbilt Commodores + the points over Mississippi. The Commodores have been installed as a big underdog this afternoon vs. the Rebels. We'll grab the points, as Vandy is an awesome 34-12-1 ATS away from home when not favored by 8+ points (and 16-3-1 ATS if it was getting 8+ points). Even better: Ole Miss is a miserable 4-14 ATS at home vs. conference foes, including 1-8 ATS vs. a foe off a SU loss. Take Vanderbilt. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-13-24 | Morehead State v. SIU-Edwardsville +5.5 | Top | 48-61 | Win | 100 | 4 h 45 m | Show |
At 12 Noon, our selection is on the SIU-Edwardsville Cougars + the points over Morehead State. The Eagles have covered nine straight games. We'll fade Morehead at Edwardsville, as NCAA teams have covered just 43.1% away from home, when they were on a 7-game (or better) ATS win streak, and their opponent wasn't off an ATS win. Take SIU-Edwardsville. |
01-12-24 | Pelicans v. Nuggets -5.5 | Top | 113-125 | Win | 100 | 17 h 12 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the Denver Nuggets minus the points over New Orleans. The Nuggets will look to rebound off a miserable game two nights ago in Salt Lake City. Denver was a 7-point road favorite, but was wiped out, 124-111, by the Jazz. Denver is 35-22 ATS as a favorite off an upset loss. And it's 14-3-1 ATS at home vs. foes off back-to-back wins. Take Denver minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-12-24 | Raptors +2.5 v. Jazz | Top | 113-145 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 43 m | Show |
At 9:40 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Raptors + the points over the Utah Jazz. Utah's certainly been playing well, as it's 12-4 SU/ATS its last 16, including upset wins over Philly, Milwaukee and Denver in its last 3 games. Unfortunately for the Jazz, they're favored in this game. And Utah's burned money when installed as a favorite of 6 or less points, going 17-36-1 ATS. Toronto enters off back to back losses, and has been solid off 2+ losses, with a 131-84-5 ATS mark (including 13-6-1 ATS vs. foes off 3 SU/ATS wins). Grab the points with the Raptors. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-12-24 | Pacers v. Hawks -5.5 | Top | 126-108 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 44 m | Show |
At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Atlanta Hawks minus the points over Indiana. The Hawks will have revenge on their mind when Indiana pays them a visit tonight. When these two teams last met 7 days ago, the Hawks were blown out, 150-116. We'll take Atlanta to avenge that loss, as NBA teams have cashed 74% since 1991 when playing with revenge from a game they surrendered 150+ points (including 88% as a favorite). Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-12-24 | Buffalo +17.5 v. Akron | Top | 59-76 | Win | 100 | 14 h 8 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Buffalo Bulls + the points over Akron. Buffalo was blown out, 86-65, on Tuesday by Miami-Ohio. But off that loss, we'll take the Bulls to bounce back, as they're 15-1-1 ATS off a loss by 20+ points. That bodes well for Buffalo tonight. As does the fact that the Zips are 6-10 ATS vs. foes off a loss by 20+ points. Finally, Mid-American Conference underdogs of more than 14 points, not off an ATS win, have cashed 33 of 49 conference games. Grab the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-12-24 | Dayton v. Duquesne -1.5 | Top | 72-62 | Loss | -109 | 14 h 5 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Duquesne Dukes minus the points over Dayton. The Flyers have won 9 straight games, while the Dukes are on a 2-game SU/ATS losing streak. The knee-jerk reaction might be to play on the red-hot Flyers as an underdog. But Dayton is a dreadful 6-23-1 ATS off a win, if it was not favored by 3+ points, and its opponent was off an ATS loss. Take Duquesne to snap Dayton's win streak tonight. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-12-24 | Minnesota v. Indiana -4 | Top | 62-74 | Win | 100 | 14 h 37 m | Show |
At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Indiana Hoosiers minus the points over the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Minnesota has won 7 straight games. But all but one of those games was on the road. And that spells trouble for Minnesota in Bloomington this evening, as Indiana is 34-7 SU and 26-15 ATS at home its last 41, including 11-3 ATS vs. foes off back-to-back wins. And the Gophers are a ghastly 22-70 ATS on the road, when priced from +11 to -1 vs. Big 10 foes. Take the Hoosiers. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-11-24 | Louisiana Tech v. Middle Tennessee +6.5 | Top | 60-52 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 24 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders plus the points over Louisiana Tech. The Blue Raiders have been dominant at home, with a 34-6 SU record, and a point spread mark of 24-8-2 ATS. We'll grab the points, as home dogs of +5 (or more) points, have gone 99-62-4 ATS if they had a strong home court, and won at least 34 of their previous 40 games. Take the Blue Raiders. |
01-11-24 | Weber State v. CS Sacramento +9 | Top | 69-71 | Win | 100 | 15 h 23 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Sacramento St. Hornets + the points over Weber St. The Wildcats went into Tulsa and defeated Oral Roberts, 83-78, as a 2.5-point road favorite. Weber St. is once again favored on the road. But it's covered just 36% as a road favorite off a SU/ATS win as a road favorite in its previous game. Take the Hornets + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-11-24 | CS-Northridge v. UC-Davis -4.5 | Top | 75-95 | Win | 100 | 15 h 22 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Cal-Davis Aggies minus the points over Cal State Northridge. The Matadors upset Hawaii, 76-66, as a 1-point home underdog last Saturday. We'll take Cal Davis tonight, as it's cashed 71% since 2005 if it was off a loss, and its opponent was off an upset win. Even better: the Aggies have dominated the Matadors, with a 23-6 record since 2010, and a 20-9 ATS record. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-11-24 | Celtics v. Bucks -6.5 | Top | 102-135 | Win | 100 | 19 h 6 m | Show |
At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Milwaukee Bucks minus the points over Boston. The Celtics needed overtime last night to defeat Minnesota, 127-120, while Milwaukee had Wednesday off following its blowout loss at the hands of the Utah Jazz. That was Milwaukee's 2nd straight loss, overall, and its 5th straight ATS loss. We'll take the Bucks here, at home, as they're an awesome 50-19-1 ATS at home in the regular season off back to back losses, including 9-0 ATS vs. .640 (or better) foes off a win. Additionally, .718 (or better) underdogs of +6 (or more) points have gone just 38-65-3 ATS vs. foes off a straight-up loss. Take Milwaukee minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-11-24 | South Alabama v. James Madison -12.5 | Top | 55-89 | Win | 100 | 13 h 24 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the James Madison Dukes minus the points over South Alabama. The Dukes were 14-0 going into their game last Saturday as Southern Miss. We played on the Golden Eagles +7.5 in that game and were rewarded with an 81-71 upset win. We'll switch gears and take the Dukes to bounce back off that upset loss. Last season, the Golden Eagles upset James Madison, 75-66, in the Sun Belt Tourney semifinals. We'll take the revenge-minded Dukes tonight, as they've cashed 82% since 1990 as a double-digit favorite off an upset loss. Lay the points. |
01-10-24 | Oklahoma v. TCU -3.5 | Top | 71-80 | Win | 100 | 13 h 12 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the TCU Horned Frogs minus the points over Oklahoma. The Horned Frogs suffered a narrow, 2-point loss (83-81) at #3-ranked Kansas, on Saturday to fall to 11-3 on the season. We'll take the Frogs to bounce back tonight, as they're 10-0 ATS off a straight-up loss when they owned a .750 (or better) win percentage. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-10-24 | Wisconsin v. Ohio State -1.5 | Top | 71-60 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 36 m | Show |
At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Ohio State Buckeyes minus the points over Wisconsin. The Badgers have been installed as a road underdog tonight, in Columbus. We'll fade Wisconsin, as it's a woeful 29-47-2 ATS as a road underdog of +8 points or less (or PK) in conference games, if the Badgers were off a win. Lay the points with Ohio State. |
01-10-24 | Indiana State v. Drake -1.5 | Top | 78-89 | Win | 100 | 12 h 8 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Drake Bulldogs minus the points over Indiana St. The Bulldogs were upset by Belmont, 87-65, on Sunday, and are now 3-1 in Missouri Valley Conference play. The Sycamores are 4-0 inside the conference, and are an underdog tonight in Des Moines. We'll fade the Sycamores, as Missouri Valley teams, with an .833 (or better) conference record (at Game 5 forward), have gone 31-57-4 ATS when not laying 5+ points vs. conference foes not off a SU/ATS win. Take the Bulldogs to blow out Indiana St. |
01-10-24 | 76ers v. Hawks -2.5 | Top | 132-139 | Win | 100 | 12 h 52 m | Show |
At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Atlanta Hawks minus the points over Philadelphia. Both teams come into tonight's game on a 2-game losing streak. The Sixers suffered upset home losses at the hands of the Knicks and Jazz, while the Hawks lost road games at Indiana and Orlando. We'll fade Philadelphia, as NBA teams with W/L percentages greater than .650 have covered just 37 of 95 games off back to back home upset losses, if they were favored by 3+ points in those 2 defeats. And the Hawks are 114-80-1 ATS at home in non-division games when they were off back to back SU/ATS losses. Take Atlanta minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-10-24 | Wolves v. Celtics -7 | Top | 120-127 | Push | 0 | 11 h 5 m | Show |
At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Boston Celtics minus the points over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Celtics lost, 133-131, at Indiana, on Monday. We'll take Boston to bounce back tonight, as it's 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS off a loss this season, and 36-22 ATS its last 58 off a SU loss. Even better: the T-Wolves had to play last night, while Boston was resting. And the Celts are a super 55-32-3 ATS when playing with more rest than their opponent, including 21-5 ATS their last 26 off a SU/ATS loss. Lay the points with Boston. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-10-24 | St. Joe's v. St. Louis +4.5 | Top | 85-88 | Win | 100 | 11 h 10 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the St. Louis Billikens plus the points over St. Joseph's. The Billikens lost at George Mason, 79-67, on Saturday. We'll take them to bounce back tonight, at home, as the Billikens are 36-9 ATS off a road loss, including 15-0 ATS if their win percentage was < .533. Take St. Louis. |
01-10-24 | Louisville +16.5 v. Miami-FL | Top | 80-71 | Win | 100 | 11 h 9 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Louisville Cardinals + the points over Miami-Fla. Last season, Miami won both of the regular season meetings, so the Cards will have revenge on their minds tonight. Louisville is a solid 118-91 ATS when playing with revenge against conference opponents. And the Cards are also a super 19-6-1 ATS as road underdogs of +11 (or more) points. Take Louisville. |
01-10-24 | Green Bay v. IUPU-Indianapolis +8 | Top | 68-58 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 11 m | Show |
At 12 Noon, our selection is on the IUPUI Jaguars + the points over Wisconsin-Green Bay. The Jaguars dropped their 3rd straight Horizon League game on Saturday, with a 75-65 loss at Youngstown St. We'll take IUPUI to snap its 3-game losing streak this afternoon, as it's 12-1 ATS as underdogs of more than 6 points in conference games off 3+ losses. Take the Jaguars. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-09-24 | Air Force +15.5 v. Nevada | Top | 54-67 | Win | 100 | 10 h 26 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the Air Force Falcons + the points over Nevada. The Falcons are a double-digit dog tonight in Reno. We'll grab the points, as Air Force is a solid 69-34 ATS away from home when catching more than 11 points, while Nevada is a soft 41-54 ATS as a home favorite of more than 11. Take the Falcons. |
01-09-24 | Canucks v. Islanders -115 | Top | 5-2 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 5 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the New York Islanders over the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks are one of the top teams in the League this season, leading the Pacific Division with 53 points. But lately, Vancouver has looked more like a .500 team, alternating wins and losses over its last seven games. The Islanders come into tonight off of a rough road trip that saw them win just once in four games as they come back to NY for two games before heading back out for four more away from home. They've done their best work here this season where they've only lost four times in regulation (although they have six OT losses). New York's offense is led by former Calder Trophy Winner Mathew Barzal who has 40 points in 39 games and was just selected to the All Star Game. The Isles were steamrolled in Vegas by the Golden Knights in their last game, 5-2 but they've had three days to rest and recover from that and they're 6-3 in their last nine immediately after allowing five or more goals in their previous game. Take New York. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.
01-09-24 | South Carolina v. Alabama -11.5 | Top | 47-74 | Win | 100 | 7 h 27 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Alabama Crimson Tide minus the points over South Carolina. The Gamecocks are 13-1 and 11-3 ATS, yet have been installed as a double-digit underdog tonight in Tuscaloosa. At Game 15 forward, .920 (or better) teams have covered just 34.8% vs. conference foes off a win. We'll lay the points with Alabama tonight. |
01-09-24 | Houston v. Iowa State +2.5 | Top | 53-57 | Win | 100 | 7 h 27 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Iowa St Cyclones + the points over Houston. The Cougars are undefeated, at 14-0, but have only played one true road game among their first 14. That was in Cincinnati vs. Xavier, and the Cougars failed to cover the 8.5-point spread. We'll grab the points with Iowa State, as it's a super 59-31 ATS at home in 'win situation' games with point spreads of 3 or less. Take the Cyclones. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-08-24 | Penguins -123 v. Flyers | Top | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 18 h 34 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Penguins over the Philadelphia Flyers. The Penguins missed the NHL playoffs last Spring for the first time since 2006 and if they're going to avoid another absence, they need to get busy. Pittsburgh is currently in 7th place in the Division and out of the post-season picture but the good news is that it still has a healthy Crosby, Letang, and Malkin on the team -- three players that were key to the Pens' back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2016 and 2017. And Crosby is having an outstanding campaign with 41 points in 38 games and a +14 rating while being named to his 6th All Star roster this past week. The Flyers took both meetings with the Pens so far this season when the two played a home-and-home series in early December. But Pittsburgh has been pretty dominant in this series otherwise, taking seven of the previous eight meetings before those, going back to May of 2021. Take the Pens. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
01-07-24 | Bills v. Dolphins UNDER 50 | Top | 21-14 | Win | 100 | 106 h 40 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Under in the Buffalo/Miami game. Buffalo has been installed as a road favorite. And it's 8-0 Under its last eight as a road favorite of less than 6 points, while Miami is 42-21 Under at home when playing with revenge. Take the Under. |
01-07-24 | Bills v. Dolphins +3.5 | Top | 21-14 | Loss | -120 | 76 h 5 m | Show |
At 8:20 pm, our selection is on the Miami Dolphins + the points over the Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins were blown out last week by Baltimore, 56-19. But winning teams, off a loss by more than 7 points, have covered 86% as home underdogs since 1980, if they were playing with revenge. And the Dolphins do, indeed, have revenge, since Buffalo blasted them by 28 points earlier this season. I'll take the points with the home underdog. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-07-24 | Hawks -2 v. Magic | Top | 110-117 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 37 m | Show |
At 6:10 pm, our selection is on the Atlanta Hawks minus the points over Orlando. The Magic stunned the Denver Nuggets, 122-120, on Friday, as a 9.5-point road underdog. Of that huge upset win, we'll fade Orlando today, as it falls into a negative 4-21 and 14-36 ATS systems of mine that go against certain teams off big upsets. Additionally, the Magic are a poor 2-11 ATS off an upset win as an underdog of more than 9 points, if they were playing an opponent off a SU loss. And Orlando is also 5-17 ATS as a home underdog vs. foes with worse W/L records. Take Atlanta minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-07-24 | Chiefs v. Chargers OVER 35 | Top | 13-12 | Loss | -110 | 82 h 1 m | Show |
At 4:25 pm, our selection is on the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers to go Over the total. The Chiefs are not incentivized to win, so they will turn to QB Blaine Gabbert to line up under center for this game, while Patrick Mahomes will be on the sidelines. The line has been adjusted, of course, to compensate for the players who won't be available, but I think there's significant value now on the Over, as it falls into a 24-4 Totals system of mine. Additionally, the Chargers have gone Over the total 14 of the last 17 years in their final game, while KC has gone 6-2 Over in their final road game. Take the Over. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-07-24 | Blazers +8.5 v. Nets | Top | 134-127 | Win | 100 | 11 h 38 m | Show |
At 3:10 pm, our selection is on the Portland Trail Blazers + the points over Brooklyn. The Blazers come into today's game off a 139-103 blowout loss at Dallas. And that followed a 126-97 defeat -- also to the Mavericks -- in the game previous to that. We'll take Portland to bounce back off those two blowout losses, as NBA underdogs of more than 5 points have cashed 64.1% since 2000 off back to back losses by 24+ points. Take the Trail Blazers. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-07-24 | Falcons v. Saints OVER 42 | Top | 17-48 | Win | 100 | 98 h 19 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Over in the Atlanta/New Orleans game. The Over falls into a 67-36 Totals system of mine, and I look for a relatively high scoring game on Sunday afternoon. Take the Over. |
01-07-24 | Bucs v. Panthers OVER 37.5 | Top | 9-0 | Loss | -110 | 98 h 19 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Over in the Carolina/Tampa Bay game. The Panthers and Buccaneers both played poorly on offense last week. Carolina was shutout, 26-0, by Jacksonville, while Tampa mustered just 13 points in a 10-point home loss to New Orleans. I expect a higher scoring game this week, as NFL games tend to go over the total more often than not when both teams scored less than 14 points in their previous game. And the Over also falls into a 109-58 Totals system of mine. Take Carolina/Tampa Over. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-07-24 | Vikings +3 v. Lions | Top | 20-30 | Loss | -110 | 98 h 18 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Minnesota Vikings + the points over Detroit. These two teams met two game ago in Minneapolis, and the Lions came away with a 30-24 victory. The story of that game was 4 interceptions thrown by Vikings QB Nick Mullens. That led to Mullens being benched for last week's game vs. Green Bay. But after the Vikes trailed 23-3 at halftime, coach Kevin O'Connell had second thoughts and inserted Mullens into the game to replace the ineffective Jaren Hall. Mullens played better vs. Green Bay, as he was 13-of-22 for 113 yards and a TD. But it was not enough as the Vikes fell, 33-10. It's unclear who will start at QB for Minnesota in this game, which it must win if it is to have any shot at the Playoffs. But regardless of who is under center, we'll take the road underdog, as Minnesota falls into a 152-77 ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams off blowout losses. Grab the points with the Vikings. |
01-07-24 | Browns v. Bengals -6 | Top | 14-31 | Win | 100 | 98 h 17 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Cincinnati Bengals minus the points over the Cleveland Browns. Cincy lost at Cleveland, 24-3, to open the season. We'll take the Bengals to close out the season with some payback, as Cleveland is a poor 5-21 ATS vs. revenge-minded foes that Cleveland defeated earlier in the season. Additionally, the Bengals are 25-9 ATS in their final home game of the season, if they weren't laying more than 7 points. Take Cincinnati. |
01-07-24 | Jaguars v. Titans +5.5 | Top | 20-28 | Win | 100 | 98 h 17 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Tennessee Titans + the points over Jacksonville. Last week, the Titans were blown out, 26-3, by Houston, while the Jaguars shut out Carolina, 26-0. We'll take Tennessee to bounce back, as NFL home dogs (or PK) have cashed 64% since 1980 off a loss by 23+ points, if their opponent was off a win by 23+ points. Take Tennessee. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-07-24 | Bucs v. Panthers +4.5 | Top | 9-0 | Loss | -110 | 92 h 58 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Carolina Panthers + the points over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Panthers were shut out, 26-0, by Jacksonville. I look for Carolina to bounce back as teams off shutout losses have gone 66-40 ATS when priced from +3.5 to +9.5 points. Even better, over the last 44 years, home underdogs have cashed 58.0 ATS in the last 3 weeks of the season, if they were off an SU/ATS loss. Finally, the Panthers fall into 145-67, 84-25 and 157-72 ATS systems of mine. Grab the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-06-24 | South Dakota +12.5 v. Montana | Top | 63-82 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 9 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the South Dakota Coyotes + the points over Montana. The Grizzlies come into this game off a 96-86 win over North Dakota St. Unfortunately, Montana is a soft 1-11 ATS as a favorite after scoring more than 92 points. Take South Dakota. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
01-06-24 | Texans v. Colts UNDER 47.5 | Top | 23-19 | Win | 100 | 62 h 52 m | Show |
At 8:15 pm, our selection is on the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans Under the total. These two teams met earlier this season. The Over/Under for that game was just 40 points. And it went over the total, as the two teams combined to score 51. This O/U line is significantly higher than the first meeting. I think it's too high. The Indianapolis Colts have not played a game with an Over/Under line this high in any of their last 30 games. And the Texans have only played two games this season with an over/under line north of 47 points. Both of those were 48, and Houston went under the total in each game. The Texans are 10-6 Under this season, and are 46-35 Under when the line was greater than 47 points. And the Colts are 86-59 under at home vs. division rivals, including 26-15 Under if the season's first meeting went Over the total. Take the Under. Good luck as always...Al McMordie. |
01-06-24 | CS Sacramento +9.5 v. St. Thomas | Top | 50-63 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 9 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Sacramento State Hornets + the points over St. Thomas. This is the 2nd day of the Big Sky/Summit League Challenge (The Big Sky won 5 of the 9 match-ups on Wednesday). The Tommies are on a 5-game win streak, and are also on a 5-game ATS win streak. Notwithstanding their hot play, we'll fade St. Thomas tonight, as Summit League teams off 3 SU/ATS wins have cashed just 40% of non-conference games. And Big Sky Conference teams have cashed 63% as underdogs vs. Summit League opposition. Grab the points with Sacramento St. |
01-06-24 | Hawaii -1.5 v. CS-Northridge | Top | 66-76 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 59 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors minus the points over Cal State Northridge. The Matadors have won their first two Big West Conference games, but haven't won 3 straight Big West games at any time in their last 56 conference match-ups. We'll take Hawaii, as Northridge is 3-13 ATS its last 16 as home underdogs vs. conference foes. Lay the points. |

01-06-24 | Nebraska-Omaha v. Idaho State -1.5 | Top | 62-63 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 58 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Idaho State Bengals minus the points over Nebraska-Omaha. The Bengals are on a 6-game SU losing streak, and have also failed to cover in eight straight games. Meanwhile, the Mavericks come into tonight's game off back to back SU/ATS wins. The knee-jerk reaction might be to play on the red-hot Mavericks against the ice-cold Bengals. But Omaha has covered just 20% the past 12 seasons off back to back SU/ATS wins against foes off back to back SU/ATS losses. And Idaho State also falls into an 80-31 ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams on a losing streak. Take the Bengals minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-06-24 | Celtics -6.5 v. Pacers | Top | 118-101 | Win | 100 | 1 h 35 m | Show |
At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Boston Celtics minus the points over Indiana. The Celtics blew out Utah, 126-97, in Boston last night, and have been installed as a road favorite tonight, at Indiana. This will be the first of two games here at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, as the two teams will also play on Monday night. We'll lay the points as the Celtics are 43-14-2 ATS on the road off a 20-point home win. Take Boston. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-06-24 | Nevada v. Fresno State +6.5 | Top | 72-57 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 10 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Fresno State Bulldogs + the points over Nevada. The Wolf Pack are 13-1, and have been installed as a big road favorite at Fresno. We'll fade Nevada, as it's a poor 16-27-4 ATS as a conference road favorite of more than 4 points. Take the Bulldogs + the points. |
01-06-24 | Ole Miss v. Tennessee -11.5 | Top | 64-90 | Win | 100 | 10 h 3 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Tennessee Volunteers minus the points over Ole Miss. The Vols are 10-3 SU and 5-7-1 ATS, while the Rebels are 13-0 SU and 7-6 ATS. Mississippi should lose its first game of the season tonight, in Knoxville, as Ole Miss is a poor 1-17 SU and 5-13 ATS their last 18 as an underdog. Meanwhile, Tennessee is 42-13 ATS at home, or on a neutral court, against foes with a win percentage greater than .800, if Tennessee's ATS win percentage was less than .600. Take Tennessee. |
01-06-24 | Steelers -3.5 v. Ravens | Top | 17-10 | Win | 100 | 136 h 8 m | Show |
At 4:30 pm, on Saturday, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Steelers minus the points over the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are 13-3 SU and 11-5 ATS, and will be the #1 seed in the AFC following their 56-19 blowout of the Miami Dolphins. The Steelers are still in the running for the Playoffs. And though they can still get in with a loss (if the Broncos win and the Jaguars lose), their chances will be greatly improved with a win. We'll lay the points with Pittsburgh, as it's 81-34 ATS vs. foes that scored 23+ points in their previous game, if that foe owned an ATS win pct. of .400 (or better). Additionally, Baltimore is 2-10 ATS at home vs. the rival Steelers, if Baltimore had a winning record ATS. Lay the points with Pittsburgh. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
01-06-24 | Alabama v. Vanderbilt +14 | Top | 78-75 | Win | 100 | 8 h 34 m | Show |
At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Vanderbilt Commodores + the points over Alabama. Alabama comes into this SEC Conference game off back to back blowout wins over Eastern Kentucky (111-67) and Liberty (101-56). We'll fade Alabama in this game, as it's an awful 6-30 ATS as a double-digit favorite following a win, in which it scored 85+ points. Take Vandy. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-06-24 | James Madison v. Southern Miss +8 | Top | 71-81 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show |
At 3 pm, our selection is on the Southern Miss Golden Eagles + the points over James Madison. The Dukes are undefeated, at 14-0, and ranked #19 in the country. JMU covered the spread in its two previous games, and is 10-3 ATS on the season. Still, we'll take the points with Southern Miss, as it's cashed 62% over the last 34 seasons at home vs. foes off back-to-back SU/ATS wins. Take the Golden Eagles. |

At 3 pm, our selection is on the Tennessee State Tigers + the points over Morehead St. The Eagles have won their last three, and have covered their last six. We will fade Morehead St., as the Tigers are a solid 47-29-3 ATS away from home as underdogs of more than 5 points vs. foes off back to back wins. And the Eagles are a soft 56-75-2 ATS when favored by 6+ points. Take Tennessee St. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-06-24 | Miami-FL v. Wake Forest -3.5 | Top | 82-86 | Win | 100 | 6 h 12 m | Show |
At 2:15 pm, our selection is on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons minus the points over Miami-Fla. This is the Hurricanes' 2nd game this season played at an opponent's home court. Their first road game didn't go so well, as Kentucky blew out Miami by 22 points. We'll take Wake Forest, as the Demon Deacons are 37-5 SU and 27-14-1 ATS at home. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

At 1 pm, our selection is on the Wright State Raiders + the points over Fort Wayne. The Mastodons are 13-2 on the season and outscoring their opposition by 17.8 ppg. But the Raiders are 16-5 ATS vs. conference foes with a scoring margin greater than 7.6 ppg. Grab the points with Wright St. |
01-05-24 | Wolves -3.5 v. Rockets | Top | 122-95 | Win | 100 | 15 h 17 m | Show |
At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Minnesota Timberwolves minus the points over the Houston Rockets. The T-Wolves come into tonight's game off back to back losses (against the Knicks and Pelicans). It's Minnesota's first 2-game losing streak of the season, as it was 7-0 SU after its first seven defeats. The T-Wolves are a super 11-0 ATS off back to back SU/ATS losses, if they also failed to cover the spread 3 games back. And Houston is a poor 6-26 ATS vs. as an underdog of less than 8 points vs. foes off back to back ATS losses. Lay the points with the T-Wolves. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-05-24 | Hawks +3.5 v. Pacers | Top | 116-150 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 16 m | Show |
At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Atlanta Hawks + the points over the Indiana Pacers. We played on the Atlanta Hawks two nights ago vs. Oklahoma City, which was on a 5-game SU/ATS win streak, and were rewarded with an upset win by the Hawks. Tonight, it's the Pacers who are on a 5-game SU/ATS win streak, following upset wins over division rival, Milwaukee, in their two previous games. We'll fade the Pacers tonight, as NBA teams off back to back upset wins, including a division upset win in their previous game, have gone 140-186 ATS vs. rested foes. Take Atlanta + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-05-24 | Fairfield v. Siena +4.5 | Top | 93-69 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 58 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Siena Saints + the points over Fairfield. These two teams are going in opposite directions. Siena has lost six straight, while the Stags have won six in a row. But these two streaks have worked to create value on the side of the home underdog, and we'll grab the points with Siena, which falls into a system of mine which has cashed 73.3% since 2011. Even though the Stags won their previous game, 78-72, they failed to cover the 9.5-point number. Meanwhile, the Saints did cover the 17.5-point number in their 13-point loss at UMass on Saturday. All of this bodes well for the home dog tonight, as Saints are 17-9-1 ATS as an underdog off an ATS win, including 6-1 ATS at home. And the Stags have cashed just 42 of 116 as a favorite off an ATS loss, including 18-40-1 ATS vs. foes off an ATS win. Grab the points with Siena. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

At 10 pm, our selection is on the UCSB Gauchos + the points over UC San Diego. The Tritons come into tonight's game off 3 straight ATS wins. Unfortunately, they're also 0-6 SU and 1-5 ATS when on a 3-game (or better) ATS win streak. And they're 1-5 SU/ATS in the last 6 meetings vs. the Gauchos. Take UCSB minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-04-24 | Minnesota v. Michigan -6.5 | Top | 73-71 | Loss | -106 | 15 h 50 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Michigan Wolverines minus the points over Minnesota. The Golden Gophers have been installed as a road underdog at Michigan, which comes into this game off back to back losses. Michigan, though, is a solid 89-54-2 ATS off a loss. And the Gophers are an ugly 31-82 ATS away from home vs. Big 10 foes, if they were priced from -1 to +11 points, including 10-45 ATS vs. a foe off a loss. Take Michigan. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-04-24 | Oregon v. Washington -3.5 | Top | 76-74 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 44 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Washington Huskies minus the points over Oregon. The Huskies will look to get into the Pac-12 win column tonight, as they lost their first two Pac-12 games, which were both on the road. Washington did cover the spread in its 5-point loss at Utah on Sunday, and that moved its record to 27-6 ATS following a Pac-12 Conference loss. Take Washington minus the points tonight. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-04-24 | SE Missouri State +7.5 v. Western Illinois | Top | 61-68 | Win | 100 | 14 h 13 m | Show |
At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Southeast Missouri St. Redhawks + the points over Western Illinois. The Leathernecks enter tonight's home game on a 5-game win streak. And they're also on a 3-game ATS win streak. We will fade Western Illinois, as it's a poor 42% ATS when it was on a 3-game ATS win streak, and it's also covered just 44% at home off 5+ wins. Meanwhile, SE Missouri is 30-16-3 ATS vs. conference foes, including 9-1 ATS when priced from +5.5 to +15.5 points. Take SE Missouri + the points. |
01-04-24 | Bucks -10.5 v. Spurs | Top | 125-121 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 24 m | Show |
At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Milwaukee Bucks minus the points over the San Antonio Spurs. Milwaukee comes into tonight's game off back to back upset losses at the hands of the Indiana Pacers. We'll take the Bucks to bounce back tonight, as they are 17-3 ATS in the regular season off back to back upset losses, including 6-0 ATS when favored by more than 8 points. The Spurs will be without Zach Collins tonight, as he sustained an ankle injury last week vs. Portland. But when the Spurs and Bucks met 16 days ago, Collins was the Spurs' 2nd leading scorer with 22 points, and he had 8 rebounds, as well, so his absence will be felt. Lay the points with the Bucks. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-04-24 | Green Bay v. Detroit +3.5 | Top | 69-51 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 47 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Detroit Titans + the points over Wisconsin-Green Bay. The Titans are 0-15 on the season, but I expect them to break through with a win vs. the Phoenix tonight. Green Bay is on a 3-game win streak, but is a wallet-breaking 0-9 ATS off 3+ wins, and 14-26-2 ATS on the road. Grab the points with Detroit. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-04-24 | Old Dominion +4.5 v. Troy State | Top | 73-86 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 46 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Old Dominion Monarchs + the points over Troy. The Trojans come into tonight's game off back to back SU/ATS wins, and have been installed as a home favorite tonight vs. ODU, which enters off back to back SU/ATS losses. We'll take the Underdog Monarchs, as Troy is a woeful 12-30 ATS as a favorite, if it was off a win, and its opponent was off a loss. And Old Dominion has cashed 69% over the last 33 years as an underdog off back to back SU/ATS losses vs. opponents off back to back wins. Grab the points with the Monarchs. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
