11-25-23 | Kansas v. Cincinnati +7.5 | 49-16 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 30 m | Show
Kansas at Cincinnati 7:30 ET Bearcats (+) over Jayhawks- Strictly a ‘numbers’ play and I’ll you what that means to me. I wasn’t looking to play either of these two teams and never thought much about the match-up. I noticed that No. 25 Kansas was less than a touchdown favorite over a disappointing Cincinnati team that has won only three games this season and are 1-5 at home. This sort of qualifies it as a ‘Don’t make sense’ game because the Jayhawks look pretty easy to me. The Jayhawks held a 27-16 second half lead over rival Kansas State and faltered losing 31-27. With bowl game in front of them I believe that Kansas will just be going through the motions and probably can lose outright (take the points). Take CINCINNATI! |
11-25-23 | Clemson v. South Carolina +8 | 16-7 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 24 m | Show
Clemson at South Carolina 7:30 ET Gamecocks (+) over Tigers- Believe it or not Clemson is in seventh place in the ACC as they have lost four games in a season for the first time in 14 years. They had two National titles in that span and they have shown character by winning their last four on the road. The problem here is that the Gamecocks who won 31-30 at Clemson and are 5-1 at home this season. Coming off a win over Kentucky the ‘Cocks can become bowl eligible with a win here, so I expect maximum effort against their in-state rival. Take SOUTH CAROLINA! |
11-25-23 | Alabama v. Auburn +13.5 | Top | 27-24 | Win | 105 | 21 h 26 m | Show |
Alabama at Auburn 3:30 ET Tigers (+) over Crimson Tide- The Iron Bowl may not have the SEC Championship on the line but it has national implications. Alabama has remained alive and has improved each week as the season progressed and they still have a legitimate shot at winning it all. Auburn would probably be a lot better if Bo Nix remained a Tiger but otherwise they have been nothing special but reeled off three straight wins to become bowl eligible and got caught by New Mexico State last week in their look-ahead game and lost 31-10 as a 25-point favorite. The Tigers were so disinterested they had only 10 first downs with 209 total yards on offense...the may not have the talent but the Tigers will be roaring this week. Take AUBURN! |
11-25-23 | Ohio State v. Michigan -3.5 | Top | 24-30 | Win | 100 | 20 h 8 m | Show |
Ohio State at Michigan 12:00 ET Wolverines (-) over Buckeyes- I have all kinds of information and trends on the biggest game of the 2023 college football season as a pair of undefeated Big Ten powerhouses clash at noon kicking off Rivalry Saturday. Being No. 2 or 3 really doesn’t mean much to these 11-0 teams but I bucking a NCAAF trend that will be difficult to stand against. According to Playbook when a pair of undefeated 10-0 teams or better meet the underdog has won outright nine times and is a perfect 10 ATS. Tough numbers to go against but that is what it will take to win here. This game is being played because the Wolverines have shown better with the eye test or personal observation. With the fact that I believe that with or without Jim Harbaugh hey are that much better. Take MICHIGAN! |
11-24-23 | Oregon State v. Oregon -13.5 | Top | 7-31 | Win | 100 | 26 h 17 m | Show |
Oregon State at Oregon 8:30 ET Ducks (-) over Beavers- The development of quarterback Bo Nix who has started more college Division I games than any other QB has been ‘light years’ and I mean at Auburn he just wasn’t the man. Now, a more mature and composed Nix is one of the leading candidates for the Heisman Trophy. When I started covering this match-up it was called the Civil War and now if we refer to it as that we may face ‘cancel culture’ but on the field the players will fiercely battle it out. You learn in the military that the superior firepower will always win out and the Ducks have much more firepower than do the Beavers. A pair of losses in their last four games has taken a bit of bit out of the Beavers...take OREGON! |
11-24-23 | Kings +4.5 v. Wolves | 124-111 | Win | 100 | 10 h 59 m | Show
Kings (+) over Timberwolves- The Minnesota Timberwolves are off to their franchise best start to a season as they are off to an 11-3 start which is tops in team history and has propelled them to the top of the Western Conference standings. They are 7-0 at home. Sacramento is coming off back-to-back losses on the road against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Kings were outscored by 36 points in their first loss to the Pelicans and lost by five points in the second contest. The teams played each other four times last season, with Minnesota posting a 3-1 record. The Timberwolves won both of their games on the road and the teams split their meetings in Minnesota. Look for the Kings to rebound here and for the Wolves to slide. Take SACRAMENTO! |
11-24-23 | Nuggets v. Rockets +3 | 86-105 | Win | 100 | 10 h 58 m | Show
Denver at Houston 8:00 ET Rockets (+) over Nuggets- The Nuggets will conclude a five-game road trip on Friday against the Houston Rockets, who earned a 107-104 home win over Denver on Nov. 12. To avoid a second loss in Houston in as many meetings, the Nuggets will have to reclaim the defensive intensity they've lacked. Without Murray, who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, the Nuggets can't afford to be pedestrian defensively. Denver suffered its third defeat in four games by producing a defensive effort that lacked all the hallmarks of a championship contender. The Rockets have excelled thus far with their balanced offensive attack, but their offense thrives when Jalen Green takes a more assertive approach and capitalizes on his natural scoring ability. Take HOUSTON! |
11-24-23 | Missouri v. Arkansas +9 | 48-14 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 48 m | Show
Missouri at Arkansas 4:00 ET Razorbacks (+) over Tigers- This is a tough call as Missouri has a change to reach double digit wins for the first time in 10 years and have been a formidable foe all season. Arkansas had to endue a six game losing steak as their offense just didn’t produce at a level need to win gaining just 336 ypg ranking 101 among 130 FBS teams. The Razorbacks do have a legitimate threat at QB where KJ Jefferson has passed for 19 touchdowns and ran for two others. take ARKANSAS! |
11-24-23 | UTSA +3.5 v. Tulane | 16-29 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 19 m | Show
Texas San Antonio at Tulane 3:30 ET Roadrunners (+) over Green Wave- This game caught my eye from the git-go as Tulane has been a great play the entire season and now at home in a game that means the berth in the AAC Championship game they come up a very short favorite. Tulane is the defending champion and has the greatest quarterback in school history as Michael Pratt is 20-2 as a starter the past two seasons has 9, 239 career passing yards. UTSA has won seven straight when QB Frank Harris returned and they have won by an average 18.9 points. The line and the public sentiment have been going Roadrunners. Take TEXAS -SAN ANTONIO! |
11-24-23 | Dolphins v. Jets +10 | 34-13 | Loss | -125 | 28 h 50 m | Show
Miami at New York Jets 12:00 ET Jets (+) over Dolphins- All of New York has quit on Zach Wilson and the Jets as their dreams of being Super Bowl contenders went south four plays into their season when Aaron Rodgers went down for the year in their opener against Buffalo. New York has about given up on third year QB Wilson and are going with Tim Boyle at QB and the 29-year old has not been very impressive in his NFL career throwing nine interceptions with three touchdown passes in 120 attempts. The Jets to a man could care less about Boyle’s past performances they are happy it is anyone else but Wilson directing the offense. With a gleam of hope the Jets surprise here. Take NEW YORK! |
11-24-23 | Iowa v. Nebraska -2.5 | Top | 13-10 | Loss | -109 | 25 h 12 m | Show |
Iowa at Nebraska 12:00 ET Cornhuskers (+) over Hawkeyes- It has been a long draught for a school like Nebraska missing a bowl game as they haven’t qualified with enough wins since 2016. No. 17 Iowa (9-2) has got to be the worst Top-20 team that I have every seen in my lifetime and I am not kidding. The Hawkeyes have one of lowest scoring offenses in the country averaging just 18.5 points per game ranking No. 121 out of 130 FBS teams. Iowa is not only going to a bowl game but will play for the Big Ten championship against either Ohio State or Michigan next week. The Cornhuskers hold a 30-20-3 edge over Iowa who celebrated like they won the super bowl capturing a spot in the Big Ten title game. Huskers have more incentive and become bowl eligible with their win here. Take NEBRASKA! |
11-23-23 | 49ers v. Seahawks +9 | Top | 31-13 | Loss | -120 | 28 h 1 m | Show |
San Francisco at Seattle 8:15 ET Seahawks (+) over 49ers- Certainly, the key factor surrounding this game is not just the availability of QB Geno Smith and effectiveness. As good as he has been throughout his coaching career Pete Carroll still loses more time with his in-game decisions. Now, coming off a loss to the Rams that never show have happened they host the Niners who are on a roll. But, `one thing that is certain in the NFL is that you-never really now until the dealing is done (excuse me Kenny). Brock Purdy who many had already written off as a fluke leads the NFL in passer rating at 115.1 completion rate 70.2% and yards per attempt with 9.7 yards. Still, he is Mr. Irrelevant and falls short here. Take SEATTLE! |
11-23-23 | Ole Miss v. Mississippi State +10.5 | Top | 17-7 | Win | 100 | 22 h 7 m | Show |
Mississippi at Mississippi State 7:00 ET Bulldogs (+) over Rebels- It has been a very disappointing season for the Bulldogs as they need this win over arch rival Mississippi to become bowl eligible. Mississippi State has possession of the Golden Egg after last year’s 24-22 win. A victory would help wipe away the disappointment of s season where their head coach was fired 10 days ago after a 51-10 loss to Texas A&M (who also fired their coach Jimbo Fisher after that game). State played a good portion of the season with quarterback Will Rogers (how could I play against Will Rogers) who has returned along with running back and Jo’Quavios Marks. Rogers missed four games because of a should injury and Marks missed three with a leg injury and both are back at full strength. Rogers was sorely missed as even with his absence he hold every Bulldogs passing record. Take MISSISSIPPI STATE! |
11-22-23 | Warriors +1.5 v. Suns | 115-123 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 27 m | Show
Golden State at Phoenix 10:00 ET Warriors (+) over Suns- The Suns have gone on to win four more times on the road to improve to 5-2 on the season away from Phoenix. They have struggled at home, however, needing a 120-107 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday to reach 3-4 for the season. Meanwhile, the Warriors lost six of seven at home before recording a 121-116 win over the Houston Rockets on Monday. But they've nearly gotten themselves up to .500 for the season (7-8) by going 5-2 on the road. Chris Paul will be making his first return to Phoenix since being dealt by the Suns to the Washington Wizards in June. The Wizards in turn rerouted him to Golden State in July. Paul has enjoyed more than his fair share of success against the Suns in his career. He has averaged 19.3 points and 9.2 assists over 46 career games versus Phoenix. Take GOLDEN STATE |
11-22-23 | Raptors +4 v. Pacers | 132-131 | Win | 100 | 8 h 58 m | Show
Toronto at Indiana 7:30 ET Raptors (+) over Pacers - The Pacers are coming off a 157-152 road win over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night in an NBA in-season tournament game in which they shot 60.6 percent from the floor. Indiana has won all three of its tournament games and has clinched a quarterfinal spot with one game remaining. The Raptors will complete a two-game, two-day road trip after losing 126-107 to the Orlando Magic on Tuesday. Toronto fell to 0-2 in in-season tournament action. The Raptors were coming off a 142-113 home victory over the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, when they recorded a team-record 44 assists. The Pacers won all three matchups with the Raptors last season after Toronto won three of the teams' four meetings in 2021-22. This time it is TORONTO |
11-22-23 | Nuggets v. Magic +4 | Top | 119-124 | Win | 100 | 7 h 29 m | Show |
Denver at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over Nuggets- With two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic back in the lineup, the Nuggets will look to record their second straight win on Wednesday night when they visit the Orlando Magic. The Denver Nuggets overcame the early departure of their best player to snap a four-game road skid in their last outing. Jokic, who boasts team-best averages in points (27.4), rebounds (13.1) and assists (8.7) this season. Now winners of four in a row, the Magic opened their six-game homestand with a 126-107 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday in an NBA in-season tournament game. Take ORLANDO! |
11-21-23 | Jazz v. Lakers -7.5 | 99-131 | Win | 100 | 12 h 39 m | Show
Utah at LA Lakers 10:00 ET Lakers (-) over Jazz- I don’t know if the players know or even care which games are a part of this silly in-season NBA tournament. The Lakers are the only 3-0 team in this tourney and can advance to the knockout round (what ever that means) with a win over Utah tonight. It could be Lebron James is aware of the significance of these contests and rises his level of play (if possible). Tournament victories over the Memphis Grizzlies and Portland Trail Blazers followed, giving the Lakers a tourney-best plus-42 point differential. The Jazz aren't having the season they were looking for, yet they have found success in the in-season tournament at 2-1 after and the Jazz enter this fray off a 140-137 double-overtime defeat to the Phoenix Suns on Sunday in Salt Lake City. Still, Take LA LAKERS! |
11-20-23 | Eagles +3 v. Chiefs | Top | 21-17 | Win | 100 | 10 h 44 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Kansas City 8:15 ET Eagles (+) over Chiefs- The Eagles (8-1) sport the best record in the NFL. The Chiefs (7-2) have the best record in the AFC and have swept the last four meetings, including 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII on Feb. 12. Both teams are coming off bye weeks. Andy Reid is the winningest head coach in the history of both franchises. Jalen Hurts is in the MVP race again this season as he has completed a career-high 68.9 percent of his passes for 2,347 yards with 15 touchdowns also with eight interceptions while Patrick Mahomes has about the same numbers with 2,442 yards and 17 touchdowns and has also thrown eight picks. The Kelce's Chiefs are also 4-0 against older brother Jason Kelce, the center for the Eagles but gets his brotherly revenge tonight. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
11-20-23 | Knicks +3 v. Wolves | 100-117 | Loss | -114 | 9 h 15 m | Show
New York at Minnesota 8:00 ET Knicks (+) over Timberwolves- Minnesota won four of those five games and has won nine of 12 to start the season while the Knicks are riding a three-game winning streak and has won six of its past seven games. Jalen Brunson leads the Knicks with 24.2 points per game. RJ Barrett is next at 21.6 ppg, and Julius Randle (19.4) and Immanuel Quickley (15.5) round out the top four scorers. Anthony Edwards leads Minnesota with 26.0 points per game. Karl-Anthony Towns is averaging 21.7 points, and then there is a drop-off to the third- and fourth-highest scorers, Naz Reid (12.6) and Rudy Gobert (11.7). The Knicks and Timberwolves split their two meetings last season. The Knicks cruised in Minneapolis and the Timberwolves returned the favor with a win in New York. More of the same...take NEW YORK! |
11-19-23 | Vikings v. Broncos -2 | Top | 20-21 | Loss | -124 | 18 h 39 m | Show |
Minnesota at Denver 8:15 ET Broncos over Vikings- As Dandy Don used to say ‘turn out the lights sweet darling, the party’s over’...So much for Minnesota quarterback, astronaut, doctor, physics theorist and all around talent is about to meet his Waterloo Sunday night. No question Josha Dobbs has been a great story but he has been a starter for three different teams with in four months and maybe there is a reason teams were willing to part with him so quickly. The Broncos have gained confidence and this is the best Wilson has played in three years. Take DENVER! |
11-19-23 | Nuggets v. Cavs +3 | 109-121 | Win | 100 | 7 h 6 m | Show
Denver at Cleveland 6:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Nuggets- Aside from two-time MVP Nikola Jokic Denver’s other big gun is Jamal Murray who will be out for at least two more weeks. The Nuggets are 3-2 since he went down on November 4 with both losses coming on the road.. Part of the problem has been the lack of production from Denver's bench as two key reserves from last season's title run Bruce Brown and Jeff Green left via free agency. The Cavaliers will be without leading scorer Donovan Mitchell but his replacement Darius Garland has picked up the slack scoring 29 ppg. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-19-23 | Jets +7.5 v. Bills | Top | 6-32 | Loss | -120 | 14 h 45 m | Show |
New York Jets at Buffalo 4:25 ET Jets (+) over Bills- What do you know, what do say...Buffalo is 5-5 and the hard part of their schedule is coming up and I do not mean the Jets. New York opened the season with a come-from-behind no-Aaron Rogers win and posted the 22-16 upset victory. Bills QB Josh Allen who leads the NFL in turnovers (11 Ints) had four that day and he has yet to show this season the form that made Buffalo the odds on favorite to win it all last season. The Bills are reeling and fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and Allen says he feel responsible and he is. New York hasn’t scored an offensive touchdown in over 11 quarters as Zach Wilson struggles continue. But, the Jets defense is stout and the Jets need to muster just some scoring to win and they get it here. Take NEW YORK JETS! |
11-19-23 | 76ers v. Nets +4 | Top | 121-99 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 6 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Brooklyn 3:00 ET Nets (+) over 76ers- The 76ers average the third-most points per game (120.4) in the NBA entering play on Saturday, with the three-headed monster of Joel Embiid (31.9), Tyrese Maxey (26.9) and Tobias Harris (20.3) accounting for 65.7 percent of that scoring. Last season the 76ers swept the Nets in the first round of the playoffs and did the same during the regular season willing all four meetings. This time around the Nets will give Philly some competition. Take BROOKLYN! |
11-19-23 | Chargers v. Packers +3.5 | Top | 20-23 | Win | 100 | 10 h 22 m | Show |
LA Chargers at Green Bay 1:00 ET Packers (+) over Chargers- I love playing against the Chargers and hate getting beat when I have Green Bay. Fortuitously we have make the correct choices with and against LA but with the Packers it has been a different story.Green Bay has lost our one-score games and simple thing like extra points have left them and ‘us’ on the short end of the point spread. True Justin Herbert may end up one of the games greats but he will be missing three receivers this week including All-Pro Keenan Allen. With such a small sample size of head-to-head meetings the Packers lead the all-time series with 10 wins and only two losses. Take GREEN BAY! |
11-19-23 | Titans +6.5 v. Jaguars | 14-34 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 22 m | Show
Tennessee at Jacksonville 1:00 ET Titans (+) over Jaguars- I really wasn’t interested in this game as I am afraid that the Titans just can’t cut it but...this is the NFL and it is rare when thing go according to Hoyle. Jacksonville is one of the public darlings and I guess it is because of Trevor Lawrence who has yet to reach the expected level of people most believe he eventually achieve. This will be the third straight road games for the Titans who dropped game at Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay. Lawrence will be wearing a knee brace and his mobility has been hampered. Take TENNESSEE! |
11-19-23 | Bears +8.5 v. Lions | 26-31 | Win | 100 | 10 h 21 m | Show
Chicago at Detroit 1:00 ET Bears (+) over Lions- The storyline here is the return of Justin Fields who has given even the most pessimistic doubters reason to take notice. Chicago went 2-2 with backup Tyson Bagent but Fields took all snaps this week and will look forward to playing Detroit who he ran 279 yards in two games last year but the Bears lost both meetings. He has had back-to-back games where he threw for 617 yards and eight touchdowns. The Bears beat the Panthers last Thursday and will have added rest and prep time. Take CHICAGO! |
11-18-23 | Mavs +2.5 v. Bucks | 125-132 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 59 m | Show
Dallas at Milwaukee 8:10 ET Mavericks (+) over Bucks- The Bucks may have won by 34 points last night in Charlotte but they are far from a well oiled machine so to speak. After failing to ‘cover’ in seven straight games (0-6-1 ATS) they have won their last three getting the money in their last two. Dallas has meshed this season after a disaster after acquiring Kyrie Irving and many expected him to be moved in the off-season and they are glad that they stood pat. Kyrie missed Wednesdays win at Washington the second of back-to-back games but has found his missing left sock and can play Saturday. Take DALLAS! |
11-18-23 | Heat v. Bulls +3 | 97-102 | Win | 100 | 10 h 59 m | Show
Miami at Chicago 8:00 ET Bulls (+) over Heat- Two teams moving in different direction as Miami has won seven in-a-row while the Bulls have dropped their last three. Chicago managed just 33 points in the first half of consecutive games in Orlando which is an NBA low for the season. Coach Billy Donovan is looking to pick up the tempo now that DeMar DeRozan has return to action after a personal issue. The Bulls have won three straight against Miami including their lone meeting last season. They do it again...take CHICAGO! |
11-18-23 | Washington v. Oregon State -120 | Top | 22-20 | Loss | -120 | 25 h 4 m | Show |
Washington at Oregon State 7:30 ET Beavers (+) over Huskies- I feel very fortunate to have won with Utah (+) against the Huskies last week as Washington showed me their offensive line strength and I am duly impressed. But, this is a tough spot for the undefeated Huskies as Oregon State has won 16 of 17 at home. The Beavers still have an outside shot at the Pac-12 Championship and will be all-in for this battle and they have the offensive tools to complete with the nation’s fifth ranked scoring offense (41 points per game). Beavers QB DJ Uiaglelei has 20 TD passes and just four INTS. Take OREGON STATE! |
11-18-23 | Florida +11.5 v. Missouri | 31-33 | Win | 100 | 25 h 56 m | Show
Florida at Missouri 7:30 ET Gators (+) over Tigers- Of course a gator will best a tiger, after they survived while dinosaurs did not. Florida was handed their worse loss of the season last week while Missouri pounded highly ranked Tennessee. The Gators were no expected to be an SEC powerhouse this season and they surprised no one going 5-5 to date. Florida has dropped their last three in Napier’s second a season after going 6-7 in 2022. The Gators quarterback has completed 70% of his passes and has 18 TD tosses with just two interceptions. Bounce back...take FLORIDA! |
11-18-23 | California v. Stanford +7 | 27-15 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 53 m | Show
California at Stanford 6:30 ET Cardinals (+) over Golden Bears- The Big Game takes on a different hue this season as neither of these clubs have shown much promise and won’t play during the bowl season. The Bears actually have a shot if they win here (NOT) and again at UCLA. Stanford and Cal have a 131 year rivalry that will continue next season as they both move on to the ACC. This is the first Big Game for Cal coach Troy Taylor and he’ll be surprised by the Cardinal intensity. Going nowhere the Cardinal were just waiting for their battle against the Beavers last week (62-17 loss) to end and return to win for the first time at home this year. Take STANFORD! |
11-18-23 | Knicks v. Hornets +7 | Top | 122-108 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 1 m | Show |
New York at Charlotte 6:00 ET Hornets (+) over Knicks- When I look at the Charlotte roster I am trying to figure out if they are having a poor start or are they really this bad. At 3-7 and having lost their last three while getting blown out twice including last night by the Bucks 130-99. New York has won their last two and 5-of-6 including a 129-107 home win over the Hornets ix days ago on Saturday. Hornets All-Stars Gordon Hayward and LeMalo Ball are off terrible shooting nights and I expect a turn-a-bout is in order hear and for the Hornets to be standing tall at the end. Take CHARLOTTE! |
11-18-23 | Central Florida +2.5 v. Texas Tech | Top | 23-24 | Win | 100 | 22 h 24 m | Show |
Central Florida at Texas Tech 5:00 ET Knights (+) over Red Raiders- Lucky enough to have the Game of Year winner with Florida State last week and played Texas Tech an outright winner at Kansas so I believe I have a good feel for this meeting. The Red Raiders need a win to become bowl eligible as well as Central Florida. The Knights season was derailed by injuries to QB John Rhys Plumlee as they dropped five in a row after a 3-0 start. UCF averages nearly 500 yards per game offensively ranking No. 3 in rushing with 233.7 YPG and they average 7.2 yards per play. Tech’s defense is Big-12 middle of the pack and will be overcome before games end. Take CENTRAL FLORIDA! |
11-18-23 | Georgia v. Tennessee +10.5 | Top | 38-10 | Loss | -110 | 37 h 2 m | Show |
Georgia at Tennessee 3:30 ET Volunteers (+) over Bulldogs- Do ya think that Tennessee was looking ahead to this match-up last week while they were getting whooped 36-7 at Missouri...I’m counting on it! Georgia is No. 1 again and they should be, after all a back-to-back champion that hasn’t lost yet as their win streak is at 27 one win shy of Alabama’s SEC record 28. The Volunteers have a winning streak of their own where they have captured their last 14 games at Neyland Stadium including a win over Alabama last season. The Bulldogs should be confident as they have won the last six meetings but the Vols have been pointing to this contest and will be at their best. Take TENNESSEE! |
11-18-23 | Duke v. Virginia +3.5 | 27-30 | Win | 100 | 20 h 25 m | Show
Duke at Virginia 3:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Blue Devils. Duke had a devil of a time last week losing in double overtime to their biggest and most ‘hated’ rival North Carolina 47-45. The Blue Devils left everything they had on the field last Saturday and will have difficulties being emotionally ready for this encounter. Virginia always seems ready to play Duke and they are seeking revenge after having their seven game series winning streak stopped in Durham last year 38-17. The Cavs (+20.5) were a great cover for us last Thursday playing Louisville (24-31) to a one score differential and another ATS win. They are 7-3 ATS on the season having lost five games by seven points or less.Take VIRGINIA! |
11-18-23 | Louisville v. Miami-FL +1 | 38-31 | Loss | -115 | 26 h 5 m | Show
Louisville at Miami-FL 12:00 ET Hurricanes (+) over Cardinals- No.10 Louisville (9-1, 6-1) has surprised the critics with their stout defense allowing just 17.1 points per game ranking No. 12 in the nation. Miami is coming off a pair of losses and the last was against rival No. 4 Florida State who the Cardinals will play in the ACC Championship game if they prevail here. The Hurricanes were ready to sit quarterback Tyler Van Dyke the rest of the season because of poor performances but he got a reprieve when his backup QB Emery Williams injured his arm. Van Dyke has not thrown a TD pass in his last four starts and that all changes today. Louisville has never defeated Miami on the road and the kine tells me that they won’t start here. Take MIAMI! |
11-17-23 | Celtics v. Raptors +7.5 | 108-105 | Win | 100 | 9 h 59 m | Show
Boston at Toronto 7:30 ET Raptors (+) over Celtics- Toronto who is off a loss to Milwaukee on Wednesday has just completed a 4-game road trip while their stop in Boston was disappointing as they fell to the Celtics 117-94. Boston has won four straight with the latest a 117-107 win over Philadelphia on Wednesday and could be a little leg weary after that bruising battle. Celts have won the past three meetings all at home. It is only fair that the Raptors return the favor. Take TORONTO! |
11-16-23 | Bengals v. Ravens -3.5 | Top | 20-34 | Win | 100 | 29 h 24 m | Show |
Cincinnati at Baltimore 8:15 ET Ravens (-) over Bengals- It looked like Baltimore was ready to run away with the division leading Cleveland 31-17 at home with 8:50 left in the final quarter when Deshaun Watson led a six-play 75-yard TD drive and they and 41 seconds later an interception returned for a touchdown and the rest is history. The loss ended the Ravens four game winning streak as did the Bengals while falling to Houston. Although both clubs lost by game ending field goals Cincinnati’s loss had more impact moving forward. The major difference is in the defenses where the Ravens have the No. 2 ranked defense allowing just 273 ypg and the Bengals rank 30th allowing 384 ypg while the league average is 332. The Bengals are not today the team that we have seen in the past, on offense either where they are ranked No. 24 with 301 ypg while the Poe boys are at 362 ypg. I believe that at some time probably after the season we will hear that Joe Burrow has had some kind of injury...just sayin’...Take BALTIMORE! |
11-16-23 | Nets +3.5 v. Heat | Top | 115-122 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 39 m | Show |
Boston College at Pittsburgh 7:00 ET Panthers over Eagles- This game has got to be in the ‘gaff’ for Pittsburgh to win. Boston College is so superior that they had already become Bowl eligible before last weeks annihilation at Virginia Tech ending their five-game winning streak. Now, at 2-8 after off a loss to Syracuse who plated the entire game without a quarterback (that’s right) and still lost 28-13. so, trying to grasp Pitt being favored...I have to put my trust that the bookmaker knows more than I do...therefore or ergo take...PITTSBURGH. |
11-16-23 | Boston College v. Pittsburgh -3 | 16-24 | Win | 100 | 16 h 27 m | Show

11-15-23 | Cavs -10 v. Blazers | Top | 109-95 | Win | 100 | 11 h 12 m | Show |
Cleveland at Portland 10:00 ET Cavaliers (-) over Trailblazers- Portland was not expected to be contenders this season and so far the pundits have been right on as they return home after a three game road trip and four straight losses. Cleveland has been a bit overpriced as they are here but have defeated the Trailblazers in each of the last four meetings and the wins were by 18 points at home and six points in Portland. This line is stating that the Blazers who committed 17 turnovers in their last contest and had seven players with two or more has its NBA stock at a low price. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-15-23 | Kings v. Lakers | 125-110 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 10 m | Show
Sacramento at LA Lakers 10:00 ET Lakers over Kings- We now have to be concerned with which NBA players are on time management, which are injured and which of those who don’t play while actually on the court. De’Aaron Fox has returned from a five game absence and Lebron James has returned from a one-day off because of a calf bruise. The Lakers’ Anthony Davis has also returned from a one-game absence and appears fully recovered from his latest lame aliment. LA is on a three-game winning streak and captured the win here. Take LA LAKERS! |
11-15-23 | Wolves v. Suns -5.5 | Top | 115-133 | Win | 100 | 10 h 11 m | Show |
Minnesota at Phoenix 9:00 ET Suns (-) over Timberwolves- After sweeping a two game set at Golden State Minnesota must now go to Phoenix where the 4-6 Suns will be waiting. The Timberwolves are off to their best start in franchise history at 7-2 while the Suns are just 1-4 at home and have dropped their last two. Phoenix has won eight of the last nine meeting with the T’wolves pulling off the victory in their last meeting last January in the desert. This seems like a really high price to pay as Phoenix has yet to put it together offensively ranking 22nd while Minnesota’s defense is No.1 overall. But, last night’s win over the Warriors took its toll and the Suns will take advantage. Take PHOENIX! |
11-14-23 | Wolves +2.5 v. Warriors | 104-101 | Win | 100 | 12 h 45 m | Show
Minnesota at Golden State 10:00 ET Timberwolves (+) over Warriors- The Minnesota will look to a sweep of a back-to-back set against the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco on Tuesday night in an NBA in-season tournament game. The Timberwolves shot 52.4 percent during a 116-110 win at Golden State in the opener of the two-game, same-site matchup on Sunday. Defensively they limited the Warriors to 38.5 percent shooting overall and 12-for-43 (27.9 percent) from beyond the arc. Draymond Green blamed the Warriors' poor offensive night on a lack of organization. Afterall these years? Take MINNESOTA! |
11-14-23 | Clippers +4.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 108-111 | Win | 100 | 12 h 36 m | Show |
LA Clippers at Denver 10:00 ET Clippers (+) over Nuggets- The Los Angeles Clippers traded for James Harden but so far they've stumbled with him in the mix. Los Angeles has lost five straight games, four of those with Harden in the lineup. Denver is coming off a loss at Houston on Sunday night in a game that showed how much the absence of Jamal Murray is affecting the Nuggets' rotations. Reggie Jackson has moved into the starting lineup and has played well, and rookie Collin Gillespie has served as the backup point guard. It didn't work out well against the Rockets as the bench was outscored 31-8 by Houston's reserves. Take the LA CLIPPERS! |
11-14-23 | Pacers +5.5 v. 76ers | 132-126 | Win | 100 | 9 h 48 m | Show
Indiana at Philadelphia 7:00 ET Pacers (+) over 76ers-Tyrese Maxey scored a career-high 50 points and Joel Embiid collected 37 points and 13 rebounds to fuel the host Philadelphia 76ers to a 137-126 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night. Philadelphia shot 50.5 percent from the floor (53 of 105) and held a sizable 54-32 edge in rebounds. Philadelphia 76ers looks for their ninth consecutive victory as they host the Indiana Pacers in the league's in-season tournament. While the loss stung, Carlisle is confident in his group. Indiana didn't struggle offensively but it was the defensive end of the court that was troublesome. They will make huge adjustment for this rematch. Take INDIANA |
11-13-23 | Broncos +7.5 v. Bills | Top | 24-22 | Win | 100 | 10 h 40 m | Show |
Denver at Buffalo 8:15 ET Broncos (+) over Bills- The Broncos (3-5) celebrated their most recent win over the Kansas City Chiefs during their bye week while the Bills (5-4) seek redemption from a loss at Cincinnati last Sunday. Denver is putting up stellar numbers defensively of late and kept three straight opponents under 20 points and kept the Chiefs out of the end zone prior to the bye week. Although five opponents averaged better than 4.7 yards per carry in the first eight games, and the Broncos are 32nd in the NFL in allowing 154.1 rushing yards per game. No problem the Bills do not run the ball adise from Allen for the most part. The Broncos are making a clear commitment to the ground game, calling a season-high 40 rushing plays against the Chiefs and posting consecutive games with at least 145 rushing yards. Take DENVER! |
11-12-23 | Wolves +1.5 v. Warriors | Top | 116-110 | Win | 100 | 10 h 54 m | Show |
Minnesota at Golden State 8:30 ET Timberwolves (+) over Warriors- Streaks are common in the NBA and Timberwolves are riding a five-game winning streak, the Warriors won five in a row earlier this season. They have since lost three of their past four games. Former Timberwolves small forward Andrew Wiggins is averaging 11 points per game, still is struggling from 3-point range, however. He went 1-for-4 from beyond the arc on Saturday and is 4-for-24 on the season a 16.7 percent clip. For his career, he is shooting 35.2 percent from long distance. The T’wolves are playing like a team that is determined to move it in class, a win here would help. Take MINNESOTA! |
11-12-23 | Jets -112 v. Raiders | Top | 12-16 | Loss | -112 | 24 h 48 m | Show |
New York Jets at Las Vegas 8:15 ET Jets over Raiders- I understand and know full heartedly that the Las Vegas Raiders are terrible and a coaching change and a win over the Tommy DeVito led Giants isn’t really anything. Now, the difference between the Giants QB and the Jets Zach Wilson may not be that great an improvement but defensively the Jets get the edge. Rookie QB O’Connell will make the grade for the Raiders but it is a bit early yet, he will have to earn his strips and pay his dues like he will Sunday night. Take NEW YORK JETS |
11-12-23 | Mavs v. Pelicans +2.5 | 136-124 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 23 m | Show
Dallas at New Orleans 7:00 ET Pelicans (+) over Mavericks- The New Orleans Pelicans will try to bounce back from a 0-3 road trip when they host the Mavericks on Sunday night.Dallas is beginning a four-game road trip with two games against New Orleans in three days. The Mavericks on the road did in lose to the Nuggets, Timberwolves and Rockets in a span of five days on their first road trip. New Orleans had a nine-point lead in the fourth quarter against the host Houston Rockets before falling 104-101 on Friday. New Orleans played without three injured starters CJ McCollum (lung), Herbert Jones (bruised fibula) and Trey Murphy III (knee) but expect some of that firepower back. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
11-12-23 | Pacers +6.5 v. 76ers | Top | 126-137 | Loss | -109 | 7 h 25 m | Show |
Pacers (+) over 76ers- The surging 76ers and Indiana Pacers carry winning streaks into their clash on Sunday in Philadelphia. The 76ers, who also will host the Pacers on Tuesday in an NBA in-season tournament game, recorded their seventh straight victory over the Detroit Pistons on Friday. Indiana, in turn, notched its third consecutive win on Thursday a 126-124 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. Indiana's Tyrese Haliburton collected his seventh double-double in eight games this season and Bennedict Mathurin added his first career double-double with a season-high 26 points and 11 rebounds. Pacers improved...Take INDIANA! |
11-12-23 | Lions v. Chargers +3 | Top | 41-38 | Push | 0 | 19 h 1 m | Show |
Detroit at Los Angeles Chargers 4:05 ET Chargers over Lions- Oh, what a perfect set-up ( at least in my mind)! The way the Chargers look even in winning Monday night are a very hard ‘take’ while Detroit is off a win over the Raiders. They will be the much fresher team, as it comes off a bye week, while the Chargers earned a road win over the New York Jets on Monday night. This LA Chargers team is always in position to disappoint their backers and for they most part they do and for the most part as favorites. But, they are in a different role right down being played as an underdog at home. They have a tendency to surprise and they will again here. Take LOS ANGELES CHARGERS! |
11-12-23 | Packers +3.5 v. Steelers | 19-23 | Loss | -115 | 16 h 29 m | Show
Green Bay at Pittsburgh 1:00 ET Packers (+) over Steelers- You would think that the way the Steelers play defense and the way Jordan Love plays quarterback this game is a perfect setup for Pittsburgh to dominate the play. Trouble for the new ‘Curtain’ is that they just do not produce any points on offense. Despite winning five game Pittsburgh has been out-gained by every opponent. Green Bay (3-5), which is looking to put together back-to-back wins for the first time this season. The Packers are coming off a 20-3 win at home against the Los Angeles Rams. Quarterback Jordan Love completed a career-high 76.9 percent of his passes (20 of 26) and the defense allowed no touchdowns for the first time this season. Green Bay's run defense rates as particularly impressive as of late. The Packers have held opponents to only 2.3 yards per carry (57 rushes for 130 yards) in their last two games. Take GREEN BAY! |
11-12-23 | Browns +6.5 v. Ravens | 33-31 | Win | 100 | 16 h 54 m | Show
Cleveland at Baltimore 1:00 ET Browns (+) over Ravens- The Ravens are quickly emerging as one of the teams to beat in the AFC, Baltimore is riding a four-game winning streak and will attempt to continue distancing itself from the rest of the division Sunday when it faces the visiting Cleveland Browns. The Browns allow the fewest yards per game (234.8) and third-fewest points per game (17.4) in the NFL. The only defense better? It belongs to Baltimore, which ranks second in total defense (262.6 yards allowed per game) and first in scoring defense (13.8 points allowed per game). Cleveland faced the Ravens earlier this season, though, as Baltimore rolled to a 28-3 win on Oct. 1 when Cleveland was without quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder). He’s back and the Brown will br better! Take CLEVELAND! 4 |
11-12-23 | Colts v. Patriots +2 | 10-6 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 38 m | Show
Indianapolis vs New England 9:30 ET Patriots (+ over Colts- Neither of these teams were expected to be contenders and have not given us any reason to think otherwise starting Week 11 of NFL action. Owners of the worst record in the AFC, the Patriots are not at all playing like the dynasty of the past two decades. The Patriots (2-7), the designated home team, have international marketing rights in Germany and are a fan favorite there because of their German-born former offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer. As for the Colts' offense, Gardner Minshew has been under center since rookie Anthony Richardson's season-ending shoulder injury. Both the Colts and Patriots are practicing at home through Thursday and taking a flight overseas Thursday night, landing Friday morning Frankfurt time. Take NEW ENGLAND! |
11-11-23 | Cavs +4.5 v. Warriors | 118-110 | Win | 100 | 12 h 43 m | Show
Cleveland at Golden State 8:30 ET Cavaliers (+) over Cavaliers- This rematch already is the Cavaliers' fourth of a season that is only nine games old. The difference this time is Cleveland beat the opponent in the first meeting. The Warriors will be involved in a rematch for the second time this season. They swept the rival Sacramento Kings. Both teams enter the matchup coming off losses. Despite a 6-3 record, Warriors starters have been outscored by an average of half a point per game so far. On the other hand, the reserves lead the NBA with a plus-5.3 margin per game. It is time for the Cavaliers...take CLEVELAND! |
11-11-23 | Duke v. North Carolina -13 | Top | 45-47 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 7 m | Show |
Duke at North Carolina 8:00 ET Tar Heels (-) over Blue Devils- On the hardwood, the diamond or the gridiron these two rivals will be at emotional season highs. No.24 North Carolina (7-2, 3-2 ACC) has lost its last two conference games, while Duke (6-3, 3-2) snapped a two-game slide by topping Wake Forest last week. The Tar Heels have one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in the country in quarterback Drake Maye, who's expected to enter the 2024 NFL Draft and be a first round pick. Three different starting quarterbacks have directed Duke victories this season including freshman Grayson Loftis who will make his second career start and his first on the road. Mack Brown is in his second stint as North Carolina's coach. He has been in charge in 12 consecutive North Carolina victories in the series, last falling to the Blue Devils in 1989. The BEAT goes on...Take NORTH CAROLINA! |
11-11-23 | Texas v. TCU +12.5 | 29-26 | Win | 100 | 25 h 18 m | Show
Texas at Texas Christian 7:30 ET Horned Frogs (+) over Longhorns- This is the last time these two rivals shall meet as Big-12 contenders as Texas moves to the SEC next season. The Horned Frogs (4-5, 2-4), who played in the CFP championship game last season has struggled this season and return home after a 35-28 loss at Texas Tech last Thursday. They get an eight-day period to prepare for the Longhorns and have dropped two straight. The Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers will start this week after missing the past two games with a shoulder sprain. We know injury issues have hampered the Frogs this season and Josh Hoover who threw for 353 yards last week will get his fourth straight start. Take TEXAS CHRISTIAN! |
11-11-23 | Oklahoma State v. Central Florida +2.5 | Top | 3-45 | Win | 100 | 22 h 21 m | Show |
Oklahoma State at Central Florida 3:30 ET Knights (+) over Cowboys- They can’t set themselves up much better than this one with Oklahoma State coming off a Bedlam rivalry win over Oklahoma. It was the Cowboys biggest win in the 19 years Mike Gundy has been coaching in Stillwater and the result was a field-storming rampage that had fans taking down the gol post and dumping it into a pond. OSU has won five straight all Big-12 Conference games while UCF has struggled to win just four of nine games played. The Knights lead the conference in rushing with 227 PYG and broke a five-game losing streak at Cincinnati last week. All stats favor the Cowboys except for one number...the number the bookies put on the game. Way too short for these teams past performances! Take CENTRAL FLORIDA! |
11-11-23 | Rutgers +1.5 v. Iowa | 0-22 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 24 m | Show
Rutgers at Iowa 3:30 ET Scarlet Knights (+) over Hawkeyes- How about this...this is the lowest ‘total’ ever put out in modern times by odds-makers and for good reason. The Iowa offense is totally inept and the Rutgers' defense has been stout, too, ranking 20th in the nation in scoring defense (17.9 points allowed per game) and 10th in total defense (282.4 yards allowed per game) and the Hawkeyes allow the fourth-fewest points per game (13.7) among FBS teams. Rutgers (6-3, 3-3) hits the road looking to bounce back from last weekend's 35-16 loss to Ohio State. The Scarlet Knights outgained the Buckeyes 361-328 but had trouble putting up six points, settling for field goals on three drives in which they worked inside the Ohio State 5-yard line. They get it done here. Take RUTGERS! |
11-11-23 | Utah +9 v. Washington | Top | 28-35 | Win | 100 | 7 h 55 m | Show |
Utah at Washington 3:30 ET Utes (+) over Huskies- Washington’s Dillon Johnson rushed for 256 yards, the same number that Penix threw for and four touchdowns as the Huskies won 52-42 last week in Los Angeles besting USC. That will be hard to repeat against No. 18 Utah’s (7-2, 4-2 Pac-12) defense that is ranked first in the Pac-12 in both points allowed (15.9) and yards allowed (282.3) per game. After taking a 35-6 loss to then-No. 8 Oregon at home two weeks ago, the Utes bounced back with a 55-3 blowout of Arizona State. Utah held the Sun Devils to just 83 total yards -- 43 rushing and 40 passing. Arizona State converted just 1 of 15 third-down attempts. A drop in intensity will be natural for the Huskies. Take UTAH! |
11-11-23 | NC State v. Wake Forest +2 | 26-6 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 27 m | Show
N.C. State at Wake Forest 2:00 ET Demon Deacons (+) over Wolfpack- NC State (6-3, 3-2) has won back-to-back home games against Clemson and Miami, but the Wolfpack achieved those wins with MJ Morris at quarterback, however Morris has decided to sit out the rest of the year and redshirt his sophomore season. Morris replaced Virginia transfer Brennan Armstrong at quarterback in the sixth game of the season. Armstrong, a graduate transfer will start once again. Wake Forest (4-5, 1-5) has lost five of their past six and must win two of its final three games to reach bowl eligibility. This is the Demon Deacons' home finale before trips to Notre Dame and Syracuse. Take WAKE FOREST! |
11-11-23 | Michigan v. Penn State +5 | Top | 24-15 | Loss | -105 | 24 h 35 m | Show |
Michigan at Penn State 12:00 ET Nittany Lions (+) over Wolverines- This selection has nothing to due with the noise that is surrounding the Michigan football program but a more basic factor that I expounded upon before. If you were with me a few weeks ago I posted Ohio State over Penn State for the simple reason that at that time the Nittany Loins had not played any real competition and that is where the Wolverines are here. This will be their first real test and it will be on the road at Beaver Stadium in Happy Valley. Take PENN STATE! |
11-10-23 | Wyoming +4 v. UNLV | 14-34 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 49 m | Show
Wyoming at UNLV 7:30 ET |
11-10-23 | Thunder -125 v. Kings | 98-105 | Loss | -125 | 11 h 55 m | Show
Oklahoma City at Sacramento 10:00 ET Thunder over Kings- The line on this game caught my attention as I don’t believe that I have seen Oklahoma City favored on the road and favored over a playoff team at that. Sacramento make into the NBA Playoffs for the first time in 17 years in 2022-23 but are not the same with De’Aaron Fox out of the lineup. The Kings swept the Thunder last season as Fox averaged 29 points against OKC and will be missed. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
11-10-23 | San Diego State v. BYU -1.5 | Top | 65-74 | Win | 100 | 9 h 6 m | Show |
San Diego State at BYU 9:00 ET Cougars over Aztecs- Now, here we have one of those situations where the odds-maker have make a Final Four participant an underdog against a un-ranked team. No. 17 San Diego State who caught the attention of America last year making it to the NCAAM Finals has always had trouble when playing BYU. The Cougars hold a 50-27 series edge over the Aztecs including 30-4 all-time in Provo. Take BYU! |
11-09-23 | New Mexico +5 v. St. Mary's | Top | 58-72 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 39 m | Show |
New Mexico vs St. Mary’s 10:00 ET Lobos (+) over Gaels- This will be the second straight season that New Mexico (1-0) has made the trek to play the Gaels. The Lobos enjoyed a successful journey last year as they stopped the St. Mary’s 23-game home winning streak with a 69-65 decision, part of a 14-0 start that briefly got New Mexico ranked in the Top 25. The Lobos tuned up for the rematch by walloping Texas Southern 92-55 on Monday night in its season opener in Albuquerque. It was the largest margin of victory for the Lobos vs. a Division I foe under third-year coach Richard Pitino. Ordinarily, I would look to play against the Lobos with a win like that and with revenge in Saints favor but I was reminded that a Pitino was coaching. Take NEW MEXICO! |
11-09-23 | Hawks v. Magic +3.5 | 120-119 | Win | 100 | 11 h 15 m | Show
Atlanta vs Orlando 930 ET Hawks (-) over Magic - In Mexico City my first thought is, which team has the most number of player sharing minutes because it is different playing at this altitude. Atlanta reeled off four consecutive wins before falling 126-117 to the host Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. The Hawks went 3-1 against Orlando last season and has won nine of the past 11 meetings. t marks the first time the Hawks will play in Mexico. The Magic played games against the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz in Mexico in December 2018. Orlando won both games on that visit and will look to bounce back from a 117-102 home loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. Take ORLANDO. |
11-09-23 | Panthers +3.5 v. Bears | 13-16 | Win | 100 | 22 h 47 m | Show
Carolina at Chicago 8:15 ET Panthers (+) over Bears- Chicago decided to pass over Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud at quarterback when the chance presented itself as the Chicago Bears surrendered the No. 1 pick in the 2023 draft to the Carolina Panthers. Young and the Panthers (1-7) visit the Bears (2-7) and once again draft ramifications are of greater significance than the playoff picture. The Bears in effect put their chips behind quarterback Justin Fields for a make-or-break 2023 season for a number of #1 draft picks in 2024. Fields might have an incomplete grade for his season to date. Chicago started undrafted rookie backup Tyson Bagent the past three games with Fields recovering from a dislocated right thumb. Fields has practiced in a limited capacity since last Friday. Young has experienced a rough introduction to the NFL as a rookie with two pick-6s in last week's loss to the Colts. Bears are averaging two turnovers a game and the Panthers are gearing up with Young improvement. Take CAROLINA! |
11-09-23 | Virginia +21 v. Louisville | 24-31 | Win | 100 | 20 h 24 m | Show
Virginia at Louisville 7:30ET Cavaliers (+) over Cardinals- Louisville (8-1, 5-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) is 5-0 at home this season and haven't lost there since Sept. 16, 2022, against Florida State. The No. 11 Cardinals look to extend their 10-game home winning streak but the Cavaliers (2-7, 1-4) were victorious on their most recent visit to Louisville in 2021. They have also won 31-27 on the road at North Carolina. Still, listen to this Louisville has not allowed a touchdown since Oct. 14. The Red Birds hold a 6-5 lead in the all-time series with Virginia and I am not saying that I believe the Cavaliers will even the series (always a shot) but they should be competitive enough not to embarrass themselves on nation TV. Take VIRGINIA! |
11-08-23 | Raptors +5 v. Mavs | 127-116 | Win | 100 | 9 h 17 m | Show
Toronto at Dallas 8:30 ET Raptors (+) over Mavericks- Dallas has won six of its first seven games and has the second-best record in the NBA behind the defending champion Denver Nuggets. The Mavericks' lone loss came against the 7-1 Nuggets. Toronto is 1-1 on a four-game road trip that included a wild 123-116 overtime win over the host San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. The Raptors overcame a 22-point deficit and rebounded from a porous 35-point first half to score 88 after intermission. The teams split two meetings last season, with Toronto's victory in the second matchup halting the Mavericks' four-game winning streak in the all-time series and they dot again. Take TORONTO! |
11-08-23 | Suns v. Bulls | Top | 116-115 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 48 m | Show |
Phoenix at Chicago 7:00 ET Bulls (+) over Suns- The Phoenix Suns stopped a three-game losing streak on Sunday although the team remains cautious when it comes to the return of guards Devin Booker (calf) and Bradley Beal (back). Booker hasn't played since suffering a calf strain against San Antonio on Thursday and Beal hasn't played for his new team since the preseason. Chicago snapped a three-game skid of its own on Monday with a 130-113 home rout of Utah that saw a season-high eight Bulls score in double figures. The Suns are coming off their first back-to-back this season. Phoenix has won seven straight games against Chicago and yet opened an underdog for this one...Take CHICAGO! |
11-08-23 | Cavs -1.5 v. Thunder | 120-128 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 46 m | Show
Cleveland at Oklahoma City 8:00 ET Cavaliers (-) over Thunder- The Cleveland Cavaliers struggled during a four-game stretch without Darius Garland. Without Garland, Cleveland went 1-3. With him, the Cavs are 2-1 so far this season, including Sunday's 115-104 win over Golden State. One of the losses without Garland came on Oct. 27, a 108-105 setback at home against the Thunder. Wednesday's game is the last of a season-long six-game homestand for the Thunder, who are 2-3 so far during the stretch. Oklahoma City is coming off a 126-117 win over Atlanta on Monday that snapped a two-game losing streak. Oklahoma City is next-to-last in the league in offensive rebounding percentage at 23.1 percent and are near the bottom in overall rebounding percentage at 47.5 percent. Take CLEVELAND! |

11-07-23 | Auburn +1.5 v. Baylor | Top | 82-88 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 55 m | Show |
Auburn vs Baylor Tigers (+) over Bears- No. 20 Baylor and Auburn will meet Tuesday when they open their respective seasons at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. Baylor was 23-11 last season and lost to Creighton in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Bears return just one starter, forward Jalen Bridges from the 2022-23 team. Auburn is also in rebuilding mode, but not as drastically as the Bears are. The Tigers went 21-13 in 2022-23 and also advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to Houston. Five-star freshman Aden Holloway, a 2023 McDonald's All-American, is the highlight of the Tigers' incoming class and is expected to step into the starting point guard position. Of the 10 players in the Tigers' anticipated rotation, eight are upperclassmen. Take AUBURN! |
11-06-23 | Pelicans +6 v. Nuggets | 116-134 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 26 m | Show
New Orleans at Denver 9:00 ET Pelicans (+) over Nuggets- Despite getting Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram back into the lineup on Friday New Orleans dropped their contest to Atlanta. They are hoping things will start clicking when they visit the Denver Nuggets but will be without guard CJ McCollum, who suffered a form of collapsed lung. The Nuggets will likely be without one of their stars if point guard Jamal Murray can't go. Murray, the team's second-leading scorer at 16.3 points a game. The Nuggets have won six of their first seven but play close here. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
11-06-23 | Chargers -3 v. Jets | 27-6 | Win | 100 | 20 h 41 m | Show
LA Chargers at New York Jets 8:15 ET Chargers (-) over Jets- from the moment I saw this MNF match-up I knew that I had the winner and that the Jets would mostly likely win the game outright. Yeah, well not so far my friend and hold on to your horse! The way I see it this number is strong and it is not difficult to take the Jets and as a matter of fact that is all that I am hearing from all the media pundits. I think the Chargers are a harder bet to make being favored on the road after some of what we have seen out of them...I’m taking Justin Herbert and the more professional club? HA! Take the LA CHARGERS! |
11-06-23 | Clippers v. Knicks +1 | Top | 97-111 | Win | 100 | 9 h 58 m | Show |
LA Clippers at New York 7:30 ET Knicks over Clippers- James Harden will make his 2023-24 debut Monday, when he and the Los Angeles Clippers visit the Knicks in the first clash of the season between the teams. Harden played a total of just 159 games in three seasons for the Brooklyn Nets and 76ers since January 2021. He will be added to a starting lineup that includes Paul George, Kawhi Leonard and Russell Westbrook. Only one of those four is a winner and yet he is a dog. New York Knicks are more concerned with ensuring they are more than Jalen Brunson who was 17 of 30 from the field while finishing with 45 points, on Friday’s 110-105 loss at Milwaukee. The 40-point game was the fifth for Brunson since he joined New York prior to last season. The Knicks are 0-2 both SU and ATS at home dropping games to Boston and Cleveland this year but will post their first MSG home win of the season tonight. Take NEW YORK! |
11-06-23 | Bucks v. Nets +5.5 | 129-125 | Win | 100 | 9 h 57 m | Show
Milwaukee at Brooklyn 7:30 ET Nets (+) over Bucks- Milwaukee has yet to mesh with Damian Lillard who can add fire-power to a line-up will also affect others production. He scored 30 and Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 22 in their win over the Knicks Friday and Jae Crowder added 14 points, Brook Lopez and MarJon Beauchamp contributed 13 apiece and Khris Middleton chipped in 12 while playing fourth-quarter minutes for the first time this year as the Bucks limit the guard's minutes. The Nets have split their first six games and began a stretch of 11 out of 14 games at home with a 124-114 loss to the Boston Celtics on Saturday to complete their first back-to-back set. The Nets rested Ben Simmons for the first time and their offense also produced a season-low 22 assists while scoring nine second-chance points. Simmons is available Monday, and the Nets will likely start Dorian Finney-Smith at center. The Bucks won three of four meetings last season, while the Nets posted an 118-100 win at home on Dec. 23. I expect more of the same tonight. Take BROOKLYN! |
11-05-23 | Bills +2.5 v. Bengals | Top | 18-24 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 32 m | Show |
Buffalo at Cincinnati 8:15 ET Bills (+) over Bengals- From what I have heard this week the Bills died about a year ago while in the playoffs when the Bengals took them apart from start to finish. Cincinnati has become the darling of the public with Joe Burrow back and a convincing win over San Francisco. The Bengals have won their last three while Buffalo has had some extra time to heal after their non-cover win over Tampa Bay a week ago Thursday. The line is too short and the money too strong on the Bengals to pass up...the Bills. Take BUFFALO! |
11-05-23 | Warriors v. Cavs -120 | Top | 104-115 | Win | 100 | 15 h 1 m | Show |
Golden State at Cleveland 6:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Warriors- ‘Times are a changin’...Golden State who struggled on the road last season winning just 11 games as visitors are already 4-0 as travelers this year. While the Warriors are the winningest road team in the NBA Cleveland is the losingest home team in the NBA and are 0-3 as hosts. So, it seems a bit odd to me that the Cavaliers would open as the favorite in this contest. Cleveland also lost its most recent game, a 121-116 road decision Friday night against the Pacers in their In-Season Tournament opener. The good news for the Cavaliers is the return to action of Jarrett Allen and Darius Garland. Allen made his season debut Friday after suffering a bruised left ankle during training camp, while Garland hadn't played since straining his left hamstring on opening night. In the starting lineup, Garland went for 14 points and six assists in 32 minutes, while Allen had 10 points and seven rebounds in 21 minutes. Their return is the reason the Cav’s are favored here and will win. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-05-23 | Cowboys +3 v. Eagles | Top | 23-28 | Loss | -109 | 15 h 28 m | Show |
Dallas at Philadelphia 4:25 ET Cowboys (+) over Eagles- From what I have heard and seen out of the Cowboys and the public us that Dallas was exposed against San Francisco and most do not believe that they can muster up and win here. The Eagles are flying high after another conference win over Washington coming from behind to do it Philadelphia just looks like they are getting better. each time out. There is one thing...Jalen Hurts is hurting! There is one thing that we can not deny and that is the Cowboys ability to make big plays on defense and for some reason it appears that Dak Prescott is at his best against these birds of prey. Take DALLAS |
11-05-23 | Colts v. Panthers +2.5 | 27-13 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 48 m | Show
Indianapolis at Carolina 4:05 ET Panthers (+) over Colts- I’ve talked about streaks in betting sports and how once a team has its winning streak broken they have a tendency to slide for a while and they same but opposite is true. When a club get off the shied and breaks a losing streak they are more confident and relaxed their next time out. This is the next time out for Carolina! Indianapolis is the same team we see year in and year out mostly a disappointment and especially against the point spread. The Colts who have lost three straight should come up lame and they do more often than not. Panthers coach Frank Reich was 40-33-1 with Indy as head coach and was fired a year ago this Monday. Incentive...Take CAROLINA! |
11-05-23 | Raptors -3 v. Spurs | 123-116 | Win | 100 | 13 h 32 m | Show
Toronto at San Antonio 3:30 ET Raptors (+) over Spurs- The San Antonio Spurs will look to build on a rousing pair of victories when they return home to host the struggling Toronto Raptors on Sunday afternoon. The Spurs took two road games in three days from the Phoenix Suns, winning in the final seconds 115-114 on Tuesday after trailing the entire game. Then they dominated the Suns on Thursday, leading by as many as 27 points with Wembanyama scoring 38 points. The Raptors have dropped four of their past five games and are 0-2 on the road. Sunday's contest is the second of a four-game road trip that will see Toronto also play at Dallas and Boston. Toronto has won five straight games against the Spurs dating back to a loss at San Antonio in December of 2020. The Raptors handed the Spurs their worst loss of the 2022-23 season in a 143-100 decision in November of 2022 and they are more than capable of winning here having posted one of their two wins over Milwaukee. Take the RAPTORS! |
11-05-23 | Rams v. Packers -3 | 3-20 | Win | 100 | 12 h 12 m | Show
LA Rams at Green Bay 1:00 ET Packers (-) over Rams- Things must be really bad in Los Angeles for the Rams to be such an underdog against this dreadful Packers team. Matthew Stafford suffered a sprained UCL and hasn’t practiced all week and in his place will be Brett Rypie. Rypien was released by LA in August and then resigned him from the Edmonton Elks of the CFL. Green Bay know who their quarterback is and that doesn’t make them all that happy as Jordan Love has shown little promise. But, the although the Packers have dropped 4-in-a-row and five of six they have won two games so they should be capable enough at home to get a much need win. Take GREEN BAY |
11-04-23 | UCLA -135 v. Arizona | Top | 10-27 | Loss | -135 | 23 h 57 m | Show |
UCLA at Arizona 7:30 ET Bruins (-) over Wildcats- Arizona is looking for its third consecutive victory over a ranked team but will have to solve No. 19 UCLA's chaos-creating defense. The Wildcats (5-3, 3-2 Pac-12) will be trying to make a claim of their own for the Top 25 if they knock off the Bruins (6-2, 3-2), who are 10th nationally in total defense (277.5 yards allowed per game), third in sacks (3.88 per game) and fourth in tackles for loss (8.2). UCLA's two losses at Utah and at Oregon State were by a combined 19 points. Arizona's three losses at Mississippi State (overtime), Washington, at USC (triple overtime) were decided by a total of 16 points. For sure, Arizona won't catch UCLA by surprise. The Wildcats, last season upset the then-No. 9 Bruins 34-28 in Pasadena, Calif., on Nov. 12, 2022. Revenge is SWEET! Take UCLA |
11-04-23 | Bulls +8.5 v. Nuggets | 101-123 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 24 m | Show
Chicago at Denver 9:00 ET Bulls (+) over Nuggets- Both teams are coming off the opening of group play for the in-season tournament on Friday night. Chicago fell at home to the Brooklyn Nets, 109-107, while the Nuggets beat the visiting Dallas Mavericks 125-114. The Nuggets historically are dominant at home, including last season, when they went 34-7 in the regular season and 10-1 in the playoffs in Denver. One team that got them on their court was the Chicago Bulls, who came to Denver on March 8 and beat the Nuggets 117-96. The Bulls already have had one ‘players only’ meeting and it seems to have helped. Take CHICAGO! |
11-04-23 | LSU +3.5 v. Alabama | Top | 28-42 | Loss | -117 | 21 h 39 m | Show |
Chip’s ‘Guaranteed’ SEC Game of Month L.S.U.at Alabama 7:45 ET Tigers (+) over Crimson Tide- I heard so much about this match-up all summer it got to the point that I had to play against LSU in their opener (they lost to FSU) because so many had them penciled entering this game against Alabama undefeated. It’s amazing to me that all summer I get reports how Nick Saban has four different 5-Star recruits competing for the Tides starting quarterbacking job and up until their starting QB’s have gone starless. Bama has the superior defense but the Tigers and their explosiveness give them the edge. I can not remember ever seeing the Tide this short a favorite at home, at not least in the Saban era...just sayin’. Take LSU! |
11-04-23 | Washington v. USC +3 | 52-42 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 53 m | Show
Washington at U.S.C. 7:30 ET Trojans (+) over Huskies- Last week I mentioned how we should always look to but low and sell high and this contest is a great example of the scenario we are going to take advantage of. Southern Cal entered the season with Heisman quarterback and many believed to be a forerunner of the Pac-12 and National Championships. But a pair of losses has the Trojans scrambling for credibility and what better opponent could they ask for but the undefeated Washington Huskies (8-0). Although most are aware that the win was handed to them as a gift from Oregon as only with lack of common sense could do them in...it did. The Huskies enter this battle undefeated.but, they won’t leave that way. USC’s QB Caleb Williams will out-dual Penix and playing as an underdog at home underdog and will be ready. Take USC. |
11-04-23 | Hawks +2.5 v. Pelicans | Top | 123-105 | Win | 100 | 8 h 24 m | Show |
Atlanta at New Orleans 7:00 ET Hawks (+) over Pelicans- Atlanta started the season with a pair of losses but have responded by winning their last three games averaging 128 points over that 3-game span. This line seems very short to me as New Orleans incoming off a pair of wins and it should not be because of players getting ’rest’ as Zion Williamson sat out the Pelicans last game. The Hawks are flying high an get the win here. Take ATLANTA! |
11-04-23 | Oklahoma -4.5 v. Oklahoma State | Top | 24-27 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 15 m | Show |
Oklahoma at Oklahoma State 3:30 ET Sooners (-) over Cowboys- I can not tell you how much I love this match-up. It is as if the Cowboys were up against a group of cowgirls. I mean from TV pundits to sports handicappers and college football fans from the third-world (which we are quickly becoming) is in LOVE with Oklahoma State. Yes, they have had a good run from the point of the season when they were on the brink yes on the brink of going under .500 but have rallied since. The Sooners are only on the brink of crushing their inferior in-state rival (the Texas game is bigger). Oklahoma has won 7-of-8 meetings and is 91-19-7 lifetime in the series that started in 1910. The Sooners are led by QB Dillon Gabriel who has 19 TD passes and only four Int’s while averaging 489 yard per game. Take OKLAHOMA! |
11-04-23 | Notre Dame v. Clemson +3 | Top | 23-31 | Win | 100 | 47 h 20 m | Show |
Notre Dame at Clemson 12:00 ET Tigers (+) over Fighting Irish- Now don’t fret that this game starts so early and that you will have nothing to look forward to the rest of the day. Well, you will be able to play on our SEC Game of the Month between LSU and Alabama (Don’t miss it). Okay, enough said about that (but it’s a winner!). Clemson has not had the best of season’s and this match against Notre Dame was a date circled to begin the season and now at 3-3 this match-up takes on even more significance along with the local media pressure that had been dumped on DaBo Swinney. Poor Dabo he will have to endure it for the rest of his 115 million dollar contract and he can’t afford to lose here and he won’t. Forget the stats and what you have witnessed up to now...”Don’t worry about the mule being blind...just load the wagon.” Take CLEMSON! |
11-03-23 | Mavs v. Nuggets -6.5 | 114-125 | Win | 100 | 10 h 25 m | Show
Dallas at Denver 10:00 ET Nuggets (-) over Mavericks- There is just one undefeated NBA team remaining and the Dallas Mavericks will bring their perfect 4-0 record into they defending NBA Champion Denver Nuggets den. The Nuggets were handed their first loss of the season at Minnesota (Megabucks winner) Wednesday night and look to rebound with a win over these impostors. The Mavs’ Luke Doncic is still as unbelievable as ever and Kyrie Irving seems to be happy not be playing having missed the last two games. This game is part of some silly in-season tournament the NBA has come up with and we can’t be sure yet the players care or are even aware. But, maybe that will give the Nuggets even more incentive. Regardless, they should be ready tonight and dispose these pretenders. Take DENVER! |
11-03-23 | Knicks +5.5 v. Bucks | Top | 105-110 | Win | 100 | 8 h 49 m | Show |
New York at Milwaukee 7:30 ET Knicks (+) over Bucks- Both of thee playoff clubs are off to slow starts as New York has dropped 3-of-5 while the Bucks have split four games. Milwaukee opened the season with new comer Damian Lillard leading the way while the Knicks have struggled because for the most part Julius Randle is have troubles making shots all kinds of shots including free throws and layups. The Bucks swept the series 3-0 last season and have won six straight the past two seasons. But, Milwaukee is still having adjustment issues with a new superstar joining their ranks. Take NEW YORK! |
11-02-23 | Magic -115 v. Jazz | Top | 115-113 | Win | 100 | 9 h 55 m | Show |
Orlando at Utah 9:00 ET Magic (+) over Jazz- Utah is coming off of a ‘cake walk’ victory over Memphis where they set a franchise record of 79 points scored in the first half alone. They were 15-of-20 from the floor as the Grizzlies offered little defensive resistance. Orlando has dropped their last two after starting the season with two straight wins and are playing their fourth straight road game and this one finishes their West coast trip. This is the ‘shortest’ price that the Jazz have been favored t home in the past decade against the Magic...the book-maker has little faith in Utah so why should I.Take ORLANDO! |
11-02-23 | Titans +3 v. Steelers | 16-20 | Loss | -118 | 8 h 23 m | Show
Tennessee at Pittsburgh 8:15 ET Titans over (+ ) Steelers- There are a few factors that butt each other when will play out one way or another before this one is over. Pittsburgh without a doubt is the biggest enigma in the NFL out-gained by each of their opponents and yet have won four times. They have done it with a defense that takes the ball away from offenses but often score on big game changing plays. Tennessee is going with a rookie quarterback and although he threw four touchdown passes in his debut he will find the Steelers defense a different animal. Kenny Pickett insists he is going to start despite a rib injury and looks to post Pittsburgh’s fifth straight win in this series...nope! Take TENNESSEE! |
11-01-23 | Nuggets v. Wolves +3 | Top | 89-110 | Win | 100 | 11 h 49 m | Show |
Denver at Minnesota 8:00 ET Timberwolves (+) over Nuggets- Denver has won its first four games by an average score of 116-102. The Nuggets have shown no signs of a hangover on the heels of a remarkable championship season. Minnesota is off to a much bumpier start as it prepares to face Nokic and the Nuggets. The Timberwolves have dropped two of their first three games, including a 127-113 loss against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday as Atlanta erased a 19-point halftime deficit. Anthony Edwards leads the Timberwolves with 25.3 points per game to go along with 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists. Karl-Anthony Towns (15.7 points, 10.0 rebounds) and Rudy Gobert (14.3 points, 13.3 rebounds) each are averaging double-doubles. Take MINNESOTA! |
11-01-23 | Rangers +103 v. Diamondbacks | Top | 5-0 | Win | 103 | 17 h 17 m | Show |
Texas at Arizona 8:05 ET Rangers over Diamondbacks- Texas, which is a record 10-0 on the road in the postseason, will look to complete a perfect away run behind Nathan Eovaldi. The veteran right-hander is 4-0 with a 3.52 ERA over five postseason starts, with 36 strikeouts and five walks in 30 2/3 innings. He allowed five runs on six hits in 4 2/3 innings in Game 1, which Texas won 6-5 in 11 innings. He fanned eight and walked one. In eight career regular-season appearances (five starts) against the Diamondbacks, Eovaldi is 3-0 with a 2.78 ERA. Arizona will turn to their ace, Zac Gallen. The right-hander has not been as sharp in the postseason as he was in the regular season, going 2-2 with a 5.27 ERA in five October starts. He has given up six home runs and walked 13 batters while striking out 18 in 27 1/3 innings. My old friend Larry Ness would say take the team facing elimination (Arizona) because you can only lose once. My buddy hated the pressure of posting games to clients and just wanted the season to end. Well, I want to end it on a winner. I’m sure that I will have plenty of company (the public) with this one...Take TEXAS! |
11-01-23 | Blazers +4.5 v. Pistons | 110-101 | Win | 100 | 10 h 48 m | Show
Portland at Detroit 7:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Pistons- After three losses, Portland collected its first win of the season on Monday, 99-91 at Toronto. The Trail Blazers' big men sparked the win. Forward and former Piston Jerami Grant had a team-high 22 points, and center Deandre Ayton grabbed a career-best 23 rebounds and added 10 points. For Ayton, the victory was his first in a Blazers uniform. He was traded by Phoenix in late September. Ayton will have an intriguing matchup on Wednesday against Detroit's second-year center, Jalen Duren, who is averaging 15.5 points, 13.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.0 blocks a game. The Trail Blazers, who will wrap up a three-game trip vs. the Pistons, won both matchups with Detroit last season. Take PORTLAND |
11-01-23 | Bucks v. Raptors +5.5 | 111-130 | Win | 100 | 10 h 47 m | Show
Milwaukee at Toronto 7:00 ET Raptors (+) over Bucks- The Toronto Raptors will face a former assistant coach Wednesday night when they try to end a three-game losing streak in their meeting with the visiting Milwaukee Bucks. New Bucks coach Adrian Griffin was an assistant to Nick Nurse with Toronto for five years through the end of last season. Nurse is the new coach of the Philadelphia 76ers, who posted a 114-107 win over the Raptors on Saturday night in Toronto. The Raptors have not won under new coach Darko Rajakovic since taking their season opener last Wednesday. The Bucks will be playing their first road game after winning two of three at home to start their season. They win tonight. Take TORONTO! |
10-31-23 | Rangers +100 v. Diamondbacks | 11-7 | Win | 100 | 19 h 51 m | Show
Texas at Arizona 8:05 ET Rangers over Diamondbacks- In his tenth season and sixth team Andrew Heaney is starting in the postseason for the second consecutive year. Arizona’s Jon Mantiply a reliever by trade is starting and he has averaged just 2/3 of an inning his last 10 appearances. I can not put much faith in a team that has to use a reliever in Game Four of the World Series. It is a sign of weakness and smells of desperation and it is too early for that. But, Diamondbacks are young and must have thoughts of ‘where we would be if we had only closed out Game 1’. I like the spot the Rangers are in and expect plenty of runs. Take TEXAS! |
