10-28-19 | Magic +5 v. Raptors | Top | 95-104 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 41 m | Show |
Orlando at Toronto 7:30 ET Magic (+) over Raptors- To start with I was a little surprised that Orlando was favored Saturday night at Atlanta and expected better from them as they fell to Trae Young and the Hawks going just 5-31 from 3-point range. Toronto put on a defensive clinic against the Bulls holding them to just 84 points posting their second victory of the season after their loss at Boston. These two met in the first-round of the NBA Playoffs least season the Raptors winning four straight after dropping the opener after splitting four regular season games. I expect the Magic to shoot better tonight. Take ORLANDO! |
10-27-19 | Warriors v. Thunder +1.5 | Top | 92-120 | Win | 100 | 5 h 32 m | Show |
Golden State at Oklahoma City 3:30 ET Thunder (+) over Warriors- I don't know if you saw it, I did. I watched the Warriors opening game a home loss to the LA Clippers 141-122 and what I learned is that Golden State's run of making it to five straight NBA Finals in done. OKC is 0-2 and no longer have Russell Westbrook or Paul George and without their firepower they dropped a 97-85 decision at home against the lowly Wizards. Playing at home helps where the Thunder are 5-1 ATS after a home loss while the Warriors are 0-7 ATS against teams with losing records. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
10-26-19 | Pacers v. Cavs +5.5 | 99-110 | Win | 100 | 8 h 53 m | Show
Indiana at Cleveland 8:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Pacers- Cleveland is far removed from their LeBron days and have brought in John Beilein formerly of Michigan to serve as head coach and he inherited veterans Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson and future start Collin Sexton. Indiana has make huge changes adding T.J. Warren, Malcolm Brogdon and Jeremy Lamb none of which can pick up the void created with Oladipo's injury. Take CAVALIERS! |
10-26-19 | Celtics v. Knicks +6 | 118-95 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 22 m | Show
Boston at New York 7:30 ET Knicks (+) over Celtics- New York as expected is 0-2 to start the season but they are undefeated (2-0) ATS and will play their home opener tonight against the fading Celtics. The Knicks blew fourth quarter leads in both of their losses to San Antonio and Brooklyn. Boston opened at Philadelphia and show some shortcomings but managed to take down the Raptors 112-106 in their home openers last night. This is the first back-to-back games on the season for the Celtics and it will show. Take NEW YORK! |
10-26-19 | 76ers v. Pistons +4.5 | Top | 117-111 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 1 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Detroit 7:00 ET Pistons (+) over 76ers- This should end up a battle of 'big men' as the 76ers bring not only Joel Embiid to the fore court but he now has Al Horford for support. The Pistons will counter with Andre Drummond who can be dominating against lesser centers. Detroit opened the season with back-to-back games winning at Indiana and then losing at home. Although, the Sixers are 1-7 ATS in their last eight meetings and 0-6 ATS in their last six home games (dating back to last year obviously) they will come up big here. Take the PISTONS! |
10-25-19 | Blazers v. Kings +2.5 | 122-112 | Loss | -102 | 11 h 12 m | Show
Portland at Sacramento 10:00 ET Kings (+) over Trailblazers- Portland went down in their home opener for the first time in 19 years when the Nuggets took them down 108-100. Sacramento was expected to move up the NBA ladder this season with all their young talent developing into stars. Now, after their first game at Phoenix the Kings get the news that Marvin Bagley III suffered a broken right thumb and will be out for at least four weeks and that has been coupled with Buddy Hield (left ankle) and De'Aaron Fox (left ankle) at not at full strength. Both say that they will play and are ready for their home opener. Take SACRAMENTO! |
10-24-19 | Clippers v. Warriors +2 | 141-122 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 46 m | Show
L.A. Clippers and Golden State 10:30 ET Warriors (+) over Clippers- Huge roster changes on these two clubs have taken place since these combatants last saw each other in the 2019 NBA playoffs. Golden State of course will be without superstars Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson along with former Finals MVP Andre Iguodada but, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green return. The Clippers as we are all aware have added Kawhi Leonard and Paul George who is not active as of yet. LA is coming off of there opening night win over their inter-city rival Lakers and won't be taken for granted here. Take GOLDEN STATE! |
10-23-19 | Nuggets +1 v. Blazers | 108-100 | Win | 100 | 11 h 46 m | Show
Denver at Portland 10:05 ET Nuggets (+) over Trailblazers- Can a team be thinking of revenge in the season's opening game because if so the Nuggets have some incentive. Portland ended Denver's quest for the NBA title last season by taking them down 100-96 in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals. Portland of course will be without center Jusuf Nurkic out with a broken leg and he has been replaced for now by Hassan Whiteside. The Nuggets have won six of the last regular season meetings and are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Portland. Take DENVER! |
10-23-19 | Kings v. Suns +2 | 95-124 | Win | 100 | 11 h 32 m | Show
Sacramento at Phoenix 10:00 ET Suns (+) over Kings- Last season the Kings began to make a move to respectability last season winning 39 games while Phoenix continued their stay in the basement trailing their closest rival in the West by 14 games. Sacramento hired Luke Walton as head coach while Phoenix hired Monty Williams to lead the likes of Devin Booker, Ricky Rubio and Deandre Ayton. I would have expected the Kings to be stronger favorites as this opening 'line' is lower than any game between these two in three years and I believe it's telling. Take PHOENIX! |
10-23-19 | Knicks +10 v. Spurs | 111-120 | Win | 100 | 9 h 58 m | Show
New York at San Antonio 8:30 ET Knicks (+) over Spurs- New York was the worst team in the NBA last season winning just 17 games and were a total failure in the off-season free agent market missing out on their goals of signing Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant or Kawhi Leonard. San Antonio has made the playoffs 22 straight seasons while the Knicks have been there just twice in the last 20 years. An underlying thread to this game is the Marcus Morris who backed out of a contract with the Spurs and chose the Knicks (go figure) and left San Antonio hanging. There is so little respect for the young Knicks that they have so much to prove and will come out with a huge effort. Take NEW YORK! |
10-22-19 | Lakers v. Clippers +4 | 102-112 | Win | 100 | 11 h 9 m | Show
L.A. Lakers at L.A. Clippers 10:35 ET Clippers (+) over Lakers- Wow, what a way to start the season! Both these clubs made dramatic moves in the off season with Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard joining the Clippers and Anthony Davis pairing up with the Lakers and LeBron James with the Lakers. To tell the truth (I always do!) I was surprised that the Lakers opened as the favorite after their performance last season taking the James injury taken into consideration and the media's off season adoration for the Clippers. Paul George won't make his debut for the Clippers until November while the Lakers will have Dwight Howard in the middle. That won't be enough here. Take CLIPPERS! |
06-13-19 | Raptors v. Warriors -135 | Top | 114-110 | Loss | -135 | 11 h 15 m | Show |
Toronto at Golden State 9:00 ET Warriors over Raptors- Some teams just know how to win and the Warriors are one of those teams and some teams just don't get it done when it counts most and that is the Raptors. Toronto had a six point lead with two minutes to go against the Warriors last time out and the Championship seem just about sewn up when they decide to call an unnecessary time-out which gave the Warriors time to regroup. As the newest 'Greatest player to ever play they game' (Kawhi Leonard) becomes invisible as the championship slips away. With or with out Durant take the WARRIORS! |
06-10-19 | Warriors +2 v. Raptors | Top | 106-105 | Win | 100 | 11 h 37 m | Show |
Golden State at Toronto 9:00 ET Warriors (+) over Raptors- All season long we have been waiting for the Warriors to turn it on and now they have no choice. If course injuries have taken its toll on Golden State and playing in five straight finals has them weary and dragging up and down the court. Toronto appears fresh and ready to go as their energy level seems to have increased as the series moves on. The front court duo of Curry and Thompson has been in synch for the most part but Cousins and Green need more production. They get it tonight! Take GOLDEN STATE! |
06-07-19 | Raptors +4.5 v. Warriors | Top | 105-92 | Win | 100 | 9 h 47 m | Show |
Toronto at Golden State 9:00 ET Raptors (+) over Warriors- All season long 'we' have been led to believe that the Warriors could just turn it on anytime they wished and that they would win with or without some of their important cogs. Now, one of their key ingredients will return as the claim is that Klay Thompson's 'popped' hammy has heeled (? really) and all expect Golden State to just once again control the floor. Toronto is 4-1 ATS in their last five trips to the Bay area and the underdog is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. Take the RAPTORS! |
06-05-19 | Raptors v. Warriors -180 | Top | 123-109 | Loss | -180 | 10 h 3 m | Show |
Toronto and Golden State 9:00 ET Warriors (-) over Raptors- There are a couple of trends that are in direct conflict with each other between these two clubs entering Game 3 at Golden State. The first is that the Warriors are just 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine games after an ATS win, while Toronto is 3-11 ATS in their last 14 meetings in California. But, this really may not mean much anyway if the 'Champs' don't get healthy. This point spread at home for the Warriors is the lowest of any playoff game since their championship run started five years ago. But, the thing that sticks in my head more than anything is not the Warriors injuries but the realization that Toronto doesn't know how to win. Since the playoffs started I've hear LeBron James in the best player in the NBA then it started...week 1 of the playoffs. James Harden is the 'one' best player, no Kevin Durant is the best player, no wait it's Stef Curry, no wait its the 'Greek Freak and now Kawhi Leonard is the 'new' Michael Jordan until we see him collapse when it counts. Take GOLDEN STATE! |
06-02-19 | Warriors v. Raptors -125 | Top | 109-104 | Loss | -125 | 27 h 34 m | Show |
NBA Final Game-2 Golden State at Toronto 9:00 ET Raptors over Warriors- Golden State came charging into Toronto riding a six-game playoff winning streak and were blindsided by the Raptors who have now won five straight wins themselves. Now, after the Toronto win in the opener I believe that the Golden State 'action' will 'double-down' here as I can't see how the money would shift. The Warriors are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games against the Atlantic and the series was a bit low in my opinion to start. Toronto is 6-2-1 ATS in the last nine meetings, has the better record on the season, is the higher seed and is 41-11 SU at home! Take the RAPTORS! |
05-30-19 | Warriors v. Raptors +1 | Top | 109-118 | Win | 100 | 21 h 49 m | Show |
NBA Final Game-1 Golden State at Toronto 9:00 ET Raptors over Warriors- Golden State comes charging into Toronto riding a six-game playoff winning streak while the home Raptors have four straight wins themselves taking down favored Milwaukee after trailing 0-2. From what I've seen so far and I don't think it will change is that the Warriors are going to take down a huge amount of money, so much so between the series and individual games I can't see how the money could shift. The Warriors are 7-18 ATS in their last 25 games against the Atlantic and the series l'price' is a bit low in my opinion and invites Golden State action. Toronto is 5-2-1 ATS in the last eight meetings, has the better record for the season and is the higher seed and is 40-11 SU at home! Take the RAPTORS! |
05-25-19 | Bucks +2.5 v. Raptors | Top | 94-100 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 42 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Toronto 8:30 ET Bucks (+) over Raptors- Milwaukee has lost three straight for the first time this season as a matter of fact they had lost two-in-a-row just twice this entire season. A week ago 'we' were saying how Kawhi Leonard was aware that he is not the best player on the floor as long as Giannis Antetokounmpo is around and he responded like a true champion. Tonight, it is a matter of survival and the Bucks will be playing aggressive on both ends of the court. Take MILWAUKEE! |
05-23-19 | Raptors v. Bucks -6.5 | Top | 105-99 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 46 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Toronto 8:30 ET Bucks (-) over Raptors- This series has gone to 'form' as far as 'we' are concerned winning with the Raptors when most had written them off. Milwaukee now seems to be the team in flux if they can't find a way to support Antekounmpo's play they are doomed but they seem to be able to do it at home. Since their opening home loss to Boston the Bucks are 4-0 both SU & ATS and they respond to losses as they are 21-5 ATS in their last 26 games following a straight-up loss. Toronto meanwhile is 1-6 ATS on the road against teams with winning records over 60% and 1-5 ATS on the road overall. I hope the points don't become a factor but I will lay it...take MILWAUKEE! |
05-21-19 | Bucks v. Raptors +2.5 | Top | 102-120 | Win | 102 | 12 h 36 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Toronto 8:30 ET Raptors (ML) over Raptors- Does the home court advantage mean that much in the NBA playoffs? It seems to mean something between these rivals and although it took a pair of overtimes to do it the Raptors have a 'renewed' confidence after the Game 3 win. Toronto saw the possibility of going down 0-3 in the second overtime but responded as champions should. The Bucks are good and may have the best player in basketball but they are young and has not been here before. Once again...it's TORONTO! |
05-20-19 | Warriors v. Blazers +4 | Top | 119-117 | Win | 100 | 22 h 52 m | Show |
Golden State at Portland 9:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Warriors- Before Game 1 of this series all the pundits were expounding on what a great shot Portland had to win the series. Okay, Golden State laid down the lay in the opener and then the Blazers responded in Game 2 getting the cash but blowing a 17-point second half lead and the game. At that point I thought that they were 'toast' and posted Megabucks winner Golden State I Game 3 when most ere expecting backs-to-the-wall performance they they just didn't have it. Well, there is no pressure tonight as they realize reluctantly the series in done. But, with the experts and public now back fully behind the Warriors....Take PORTLAND! |
05-19-19 | Bucks v. Raptors -127 | Top | 112-118 | Win | 100 | 10 h 35 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Toronto 7:00 ET Bucks (+) over Raptors- Like I said after Game 1, I believe there is something special going on around this Milwaukee Bucks team. Maybe the key word was 'team' and not about special players or stats and boy do they have a special player. Guys, we have all seen it and may find some of what we see hard to believe, granted Antetokounmpo plays on the outside and some say that is a short-coming, but like with Marino Rivera 'it don't matter.' Nobody can stop the 'Greek Freak!' One can only hope he is off his game but his game is moving inside and that will always draw fouls. Poor Kawhi Leonard he now 'knows' that he is NOT the best player on the floor. But, although I believe the Raptors are a hoax as a whole they still are in the finals and will respond from their Game 2 embarrassment. Where will Kawhi play next year...No worries...Take TORONTO! |
05-18-19 | Warriors +2.5 v. Blazers | 110-99 | Win | 100 | 11 h 57 m | Show
Golden State at Portland 9:00 ET Warriors (+) over Trailblazers- How about that...knowing how to win was key in Game 2 of this series as the Warriors 'stole' one from the Trailblazers. Portland had a 17-point second half lead and choked it away last down the stretch as the Golden State tied and then trailed by six points before overcoming these 'dogs.' The Trailblazers are now in the favorites roll down 0-2 and I won't be surprised if they don't win another game this season. The Blazers have lost four of their last six and one again come up short. Take GOLDEN STATE! |
05-17-19 | Raptors v. Bucks -6.5 | Top | 103-125 | Win | 100 | 11 h 32 m | Show |
Toronto at Milwaukee 8:30 ET Bucks (-) over Raptors- I was truly sick when the final was posted for Game 1 as the Raptors did their thing late and were out-scored 10-0 to end the game and 'our' point spread dreams. So, what we have now is a club (the Bucks) that just ignore trends and the opposition and just continue to play hard and 'cover.' After what 'we' all witnessed I just believe that Milwaukee is destined to move into the FBA Finals. Take the BUCKS! |
05-16-19 | Blazers v. Warriors -7 | Top | 111-114 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 12 m | Show |
Portland at Golden State 9:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Warriors- Well, it is obvious that Golden State doesn't need Kevin Durant or Boogie Cousins to win a championship as long as they have Stephen Curry. Curry drained nine 3-pointers in Game 1 and just seems at his best when it means the most as he raises to the occasion. Portland who committed 21 turnovers were just 7-for-28 from 3-point land and six of those were made by CJ McCollum who will have difficulty repeating his performance. Take the WARRIORS! |
05-15-19 | Raptors +6.5 v. Bucks | Top | 100-108 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 57 m | Show |
Toronto at Milwaukee 8:30 ET Raptors (+) over Bucks- There is no doubt who the media will pit against each other in this series as both Toronto's Kawhi Leonard and Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo actually deserve the label 'Super-Star.' Talking about their talents won't mean as much as how their supporting cast reacts to the 'Conference Finals' pressure. The bucks swept Detroit getting the money in all four, then they dropped Game 1 against Boston and responded with four more wins and 'covers.' The Raptors had to scrap their way through a tough 7-game series against Philadelphia covering just two fo their last six. Battle tested and 4-1 ATS in their last five stops in the Brew City the Raptors will claw their way to a win here. Take TORONTO! |
05-14-19 | Blazers v. Warriors -7.5 | Top | 94-116 | Win | 100 | 25 h 51 m | Show |
Portland at Golden State 9:00 ET Warriors (-) over Trailblazers- Don't you think that the Trailblazers are themselves 'surprised' that for the first time since 2000 they are in the Western Conference Finals. Golden State won for fun the other night as Durant and Cousins nursed their wounds and Curry took the first half off and then buried the imposters with 33 second half points as Chris (the Hoax) Paul and Harden failed once again when it matters most. I don't see Portland getting over the initial shock that they actually won and are here against the Warriors. The number don't mean much to me here as I expect the Blazers to fade in the second half. Take GOLDEN STATE! |
05-12-19 | 76ers v. Raptors -6 | 90-92 | Loss | -105 | 25 h 33 m | Show
Philadelphia at Toronto 7:00 ET Raptors (-) over 76ers- Joel Embiid has shown that he can be a 'monster' and when he is aggressive the rest of the team seems to follow suit. Philadelphia had their backs up against it and they responded with a dominating performance to force Game 7. The last time these two met in Toronto the Raptors spanked the 76ers for the second straight time and including their home dominance over the Sixers to 16-7 in the last 23 meetings including 6-1 ATS in Toronto. The home team is 9-2 ATS in the last 12 meetings. Take TORONTO! |
05-12-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets -5.5 | 100-96 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 2 m | Show
Portland at Denver 3:30 ET Nuggets (-) over Trailblazers- Denver 9-3-1 ATS in the last 13 meetings Portland is 0-5 ATS after a straight-up win and 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games. The Blazers 'outside' game was able to provide the need punch that they lack 'inside.' The Nuggets center Nikola Jokic is just too much for any of the Blazers big men to handle without Nurkic as Enes Kanter is failing averaging just six points that last three games. Jokic has been dominant with 26.8 points, 14 rebounds and 8.7 assists and will remain the difference. Take DENVER! |
05-12-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets UNDER 212.5 | 100-96 | Win | 100 | 21 h 1 m | Show
Blazers/Nuggets (Under)- These two just seem to run up the score whenever they play as the 'over' is 19-7 in their last 26 meetings. Including nine of the last 10. But there are trends that send me in the 'other' direction. To start with Denver is Under 14-5 in their last 19 home games and Portland is Under 5-2 last seven on two days rest and of course the Nuggets are 19-9 Under after allowing 100 or more points in their previous game. Play UNDER! |
05-10-19 | Warriors v. Rockets -7 | Top | 118-113 | Loss | -115 | 12 h 41 m | Show |
Golden State at Houston 9:00 ET Rockets (-) over Warriors- The talk among many of those 'in-the-know' is that Houston should be made the favorite in this series. After all, Durant is down and the Warriors have shown kinks in their armor. Last season when these two met it was the Rockets that had the 3-2 lead and lost Chris Paul the remaining two game and Golden State survived. This time around it is Golden State that has the 3-2 lead but has incurred the injury to Durant. Houston hasn't lost at home during the post-season (5-0) and keeps that streak alive tonight. Take HOUSTON! |
05-09-19 | Nuggets v. Blazers -3.5 | 108-119 | Win | 100 | 12 h 59 m | Show
Denver at Portland 10:30 ET Trailblazers (-) over Nuggets- Denver who needs just one more win to advance to the conference title series is 5-0 ATS in their last five visits to Portland, but are 0-6 ATS in their last six Thursday games. Portland took the series lead at 2-1 after their (4-OT) win in Game 3 but have dropped the last two games to put themselves on the brink of elimination. After the loss of center Jusuf Nurkic before the playoffs the Blazers added Enes Kanter who with limited ability has had difficulties containing Nuggets center Nikola Jokic. The Blazers who are 36-10 SU at home and 27-19 ATS will regroup and force a game seven. Take PORTLAND! |
05-09-19 | Nuggets v. Blazers UNDER 215.5 | 108-119 | Loss | -106 | 12 h 55 m | Show
Nuggets/Trailblazers (Under)- In the playoffs both clubs realize that every trip down the court can be the difference maker in these critical possessions. If we go back and look at the last nine meetings between these two eight have gone 'over' the total including 4-0 OVER in the last four meetings in Portland. But, this contest is an elimination game and both side will be a bit more intense on the defensive end. Play UNDER! |
05-09-19 | Raptors v. 76ers +2 | Top | 101-112 | Win | 100 | 10 h 38 m | Show |
Toronto at Philadelphia 8:00 ET 76ers (+) over Raptors- Philadelphia sure was cocky after they took a 2-1 series lead after their 21-point win in Game 3 as Joel Embiid was the dominate factor. Since then, Embiid has been a non-factor and even a negative (eight turnovers last game) as the flu and sore knees have affected the big man. Toronto has had a huge edge in head-to-head meetings winning 16 of the last 22 meetings ATS and 28-13-2 ATS at Philadelphia. One clue to remember is that much of this series advantage happened while the 76ers were a non-entity. The 76ers have won without Embiid before but I am expecting his return and his play to return to his stellar self. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
05-08-19 | Rockets +6 v. Warriors | 99-104 | Win | 100 | 13 h 34 m | Show
Houston at Golden State 10:35 ET Rockets (+) over Warriors- All season long we all felt that Golden State was just going through the motions and except on some special occasions we might see them hitting on all cylinders. Well, if they have the ability to turn it on and off now is the time to start. The Rockets have taken the momentum away from the Champs and actually feel that they should be up 3-1 in games for the series. We can see Curry struggling and Thompson being out of synch and they appear a hair slower. It actually looks like Houston is the hungrier team. I don't know if the 'line' is a 'tell' or not, but in the two home games against the Rockets the line was 4 and 4.5 now the 'price' is inflated because of the Warriors need after losing two straight. Houston is 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games following a straight up win. Take HOUSTON! |
05-08-19 | Rockets v. Warriors UNDER 219.5 | 99-104 | Win | 100 | 13 h 30 m | Show
Rockets/Warriors (UNDER)- We all are aware of the offensive firepower that both these team possess and the scoring capabilities they produce. But, when they face each other both teams seem to put extra effort on the defensive end of the court to stave off the other clubs point scoring. Trends support his action as Under is 3-0-1 in the last four games for the Rockets following a straight up win and the Under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings at Golden State and 9-3-1 Under in the last 13 meetings overall. Play UNDER! |
05-08-19 | Celtics v. Bucks -9 | Top | 91-116 | Win | 100 | 10 h 4 m | Show |
Boston at Milwaukee 8:00 ET Bucks (-) over Celtics- What is the 'line' on this game, because a year ago these two met in Milwaukee and the Bucks were a 4-point favorite, and now...Ha. The Celtics are done! If you don't believe so just take a look at the tapes of their last three games. After a dominating Game one 112-90 win at Milwaukee the Celtics were thinking, same old Bucks.' It just goes to show that you can't take anything for granted in professional sports and Boston has lost their 'Mojo' and there is no coming back! Numbers, stats and all that stuff won't mean a thing here. I will be very surprised if the Celtics even put up a fight. Havlicek weeps...Take the BUCKS! |
05-07-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets -4.5 | 98-124 | Win | 100 | 12 h 30 m | Show
Portland at Denver 10:30 ET Nuggets (-) over Trailblazers- The trends here do not bode well for Portland who has had a great season and is now one game away from elimination. These two have alternated wins with Denver getting the money 3-of-4 and are aware they could be closing out this series here with any luck in their four OT loss in Game 3. Being 38-9 SU at home is one thing but having the second best record in the West and being 28-19 ATS at home is saying something. Straight-up Nikola Jokic is just too difficult for Portland with their starting center Jusuf Nurkic out for the rest of the season. Take DENVER! |
05-07-19 | 76ers v. Raptors -6 | 89-125 | Win | 100 | 10 h 57 m | Show
Philadelphia at Toronto 8:00 ET Raptors (-) over 76ers- Well, as usual it all comes down to Joel Embiid! The All-Everything center has got to be healthy of Philadelphia expects to advance as we witnessed the 76ers short-coming if he isn't at his best. Toronto got the 'wake-up' call after Game 3 when the Sixers trounced the Raptors 116-95 on their home court to take a 2-1 series lead. Although the series is tied 2-2 if just feel that Toronto has the advantage and I am not referring to the home court but the mindset. They are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 overall and 5-2 ATS in their last seven at home and the 76ers are 1-5 ATS in their last six trips to Toronto. Take TORONTO! |

05-07-19 | 76ers v. Raptors UNDER 211.5 | 89-125 | Loss | -107 | 10 h 50 m | Show
Philadelphia at Toronto 8:00 ET 76ers/Raptors (UNDER)- It's getting down to crunch time and that means every possession on both offense and defense can be critical to the final outcome. I expect a physical affair here with each side making stops and blocking shots. Philadelphia has played under in their last five games and under in 16 of 21 against teams with winning records while the Raptors are 6-1-1 under after a SU win. Play UNDER! |
05-06-19 | Warriors v. Rockets -115 | Top | 108-112 | Win | 100 | 22 h 58 m | Show |
Golden State at Houston 9:30 ET Rockets (ML) over Warriors- I just believe the Houston will win this game! I am deathly afraid of the Warriors but the Rockets at home are a threat. The thing about them is that I don't think that they have played anywhere near their best as Golden State. Curry has been a hair off his 'norm' and Houston is 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games at home and they are 5-2 ATS against the Warriors in the last seven meetings. The 3-time champions can be had and can see the series going back to the Bay area even. Take HOUSTON! |
05-06-19 | Bucks +1.5 v. Celtics | 113-101 | Win | 101 | 19 h 23 m | Show
Milwaukee at Boston 7:00 ET Bucks (+) over Celtics- I've been warning anyone that would listen that the Celtics were just playing possum until the stakes were higher (yet I didn't take advantage) and then watch out. But, now when the stakes are the highest the odds-maker doesn't respect their chances. NO. not really not of they are only a one-point favorite at home in the playoffs. My feeling now is that they may not be playing coy but are a team in flux. Big game for Boston and they should have more support from the odds makers but they don't. Take MILWAUKEE! |
05-06-19 | Bucks v. Celtics UNDER 221 | 113-101 | Win | 100 | 19 h 23 m | Show
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NBA Hotline Total Chip Chirimbes, the 'Big Game Player' and 10-time Las Vegas Handicapping Champion was 2-1 in NBA action Sunday winning dropping the under between the Nuggets/Blazers but is still 7-1 86% the past 4 days. Chip is now a 'Documented' 57-39-4 64% overall the last six weeks. Chip the 'Big Game Player' has been deemed a 'Post Season Wizard' bye the Nation's Media and has a NBA 'Totals' winner Monday. Get the 'Over-Under' winner between Bucks/Celtics Get it for only $29 or part of Chip's Triple-Play of Best Bet winners. Bucks/Celtics UNDER- The only chance the Celtics have tonight (and they know it) is for their defense to gang up on the 'Greek Freak' like they did in Game 1. The officials should be very accommodating and play into Boston's style. Boston can not allow Antetokounmpo to roam in open space and I'm sure that someone will be under his chin all night. Play this game UNDER! |
05-05-19 | Nuggets +3 v. Blazers | 116-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 19 m | Show
Denver at Portland 7:00 ET Nuggets (+) over Nuggets- There should be some weary legs on the court Sunday as the Nuggets and Trailblazers get back on the court after their four overtime game Friday was the longest NBA Playoff game since 1953. Denver couldn't hold a late lead but did manage to get the cash as they have their last four times at Portland (4-0 ATS). Portland has had trouble with consistency as they have lost four straight ATS after an outright win. The Nuggets youth will help them maintain their stamIna. Take DENVER! |
05-05-19 | Nuggets v. Blazers UNDER 210.5 | 116-112 | Loss | -104 | 9 h 16 m | Show
Denver at Portland (Total) Nuggets/Trailblazers-UNDER- After having to play 68 minutes on Friday their should be plenty of sore legs in the second half of this meetings as 'lift' on players shots as they attempt their jump shots and will come up short. Although the 'over' is 6-0 in their last six road games this one should not go four overtimes but the UNDER is good 19-7 after the Nuggets allow 100 points or more in the previous contest. Take the UNDER! |
05-05-19 | Raptors +2.5 v. 76ers | Top | 101-96 | Win | 100 | 6 h 56 m | Show |
Toronto at Philadelphia 3:30 ET Raptors (+) over 76ers- We all saw it, we saw how Joel Embiid can dominate a game and just destroy the opposition both offensively and defensively. He's a guy that had 33 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots in just 28 minutes of play. Philadelphia has won and covered six of their last seven and can take control of the series with a win here but they are just 6-14 ATS against the Raptors in the last 20 meetings and Toronto is 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a straight-up loss of more then 10 points. Take TORONTO! |
05-04-19 | Warriors v. Rockets -3.5 | Top | 121-126 | Win | 100 | 12 h 31 m | Show |
Golden State at Houston 8:30 ET Rockets (-) over Warriors- This selection has nothing to do with Chris Paul so if he ever is to have anything when it counts now is a good time to start (especially because 'we' betting on you). Coming off of Megabucks win with Golden State on Tuesday I have no problem coming back with the 0-2 Rockets who have had plenty of time to clear their heads and start 'fresh' after licking their wounds. I believe that the 'calls' that upset the Rockets in Game 1 had a carry-over effect and at the end of Game 2 they just walked off in the final seconds. With four days to stew and recover I expect a big night out of the home team. Take HOUSTON! |
05-03-19 | Nuggets +4 v. Blazers | 137-140 | Win | 100 | 12 h 3 m | Show
Denver at Portland 10:30 ET Nuggets (+) over Trailblazers- Granted that Portland got the split they wanted in the two at Denver but the Nuggets won the games they needed and evened the series at one a piece as opposed to getting to Portland down 0-2. My question is if Denver point guard Jamal Murray is questionable why is this 'number' so cheap. Portland is 35-9 SU at home as and impressive 27-17 ATS whereas the Nuggets are 18-26 ATS on the road. In the last meetings between these two in Portland the Blazers were favored by -8.5, tonight the line tells 'us' that they will struggle. Take DENVER! |
05-03-19 | Bucks v. Celtics OVER 219 | 123-116 | Win | 100 | 10 h 42 m | Show
Milwaukee/Boston Totals Winner Bucks/Celtics (Over)- Okay here's the deal with this one. In Game 2 of this series the Celtics can into that contest allowing just 91.3 points per game in the playoffs which meant if they held the Bucks to the Celts playoff average Boston woulds have to score 31 more points than Milwaukee to make the over. But, guess what that number was a clubs and the Bucks crushed as the total points went over as it will against tonight. Play OVER! |
05-03-19 | Bucks +2.5 v. Celtics | Top | 123-116 | Win | 100 | 10 h 47 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Boston 8:00 ET Bucks (+) over Celtics- Okay, so the zig-zag system worked in Game 2 of this series where you play 'on' the team that lost Game 1 and collect Game 2...perfect. Yeah, to a point, and what happens is that the general 'public' is on to that pattern and it all changes as the 'action' increases. But, the point here is that Milwaukee made a major adjustment in Game 2 and their overall athletic talent took over and evened the series. Although, Boston got the much needed win and split the two games on the road they are now backed up against a team that has learned how to win. Take MILWAUKEE! |
05-02-19 | Raptors v. 76ers +1.5 | Top | 95-116 | Win | 100 | 9 h 28 m | Show |
Toronto at Philadelphia 8:00 ET 76ers (+) over Raptors- The starting-five in NBA action is all important as they are the foundation of one's club and Toronto is among the league's best, but that's where it ends for the Raptors. Their bench managed only four points on 2-of-11 shooting in their Game 2 loss and now are at 1-1 as Game 3 tops off in Philadelphia. The 76ers played some defense last time out and held the Raptors to 17 first quarter points. Although Toronto is 14-5 ATS in the last 19 meetings the 76ers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
05-01-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets -3.5 | Top | 97-90 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 28 m | Show |
Portland at Denver 9:00 ET Nuggets (-) over Trailblazers- Portland has been great to their backers for most of the season and even made money in Round 1 over Oklahoma City. The Trailblazers have had just one weak issue and that is their play against the Nuggets especially in Denver. Portland is just 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight meetings and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six meetings in Denver. With the competition getting tougher Portland is just 1-4 ATS in their last five road games overall while the Nuggets are 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 games against the NBA Northwest. Take DENVER! |
04-30-19 | Rockets v. Warriors -5.5 | 109-115 | Win | 100 | 13 h 4 m | Show
Houston at Golden State 3:30 ET Warriors (-) over Rockets- Oh boo-who-who for the Rockets, give me a break it's always something with these guys. In Game 1 of the series Chris Paul gets thrown out of the game with :04 left and Houston just virtually walked off the floor and quit. When big games arise Golden State ballplayers like Demond Green and Andre Iguodala step up and deliver. Rockets Front court players Clint Capella and JJ Tucker posted four points in last time out as Harden was 9-28 from the floor. If this game is about character there is only one side to have. A three NBA championships under their belts. Houston won three of four during the regular season when it meant more to the Rockets than the Warriors. Take the WARRIORS! |
04-28-19 | Rockets v. Warriors -5 | Top | 100-104 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 44 m | Show |
Houston at Golden State 3:30 ET Warriors (-) over Rockets- well, this is the match-up that most are looking forward to in the West as many believe that if the Warriors are to fall it will be the Rockets that slay them. Houston won three of four during the regular season when it meant more to the Rockets then the Warriors. Golden State was limping to the finish against the Clippers as DeMarcus Cousins is lost for the rest of the year and both Step Curry and Klay Thompson hobbled off of the court at series end. Although Golden State is 10-22-1 ATS in their last 33 at home this is when it counts...Take the WARRIORS! |
04-28-19 | Celtics v. Bucks -7 | 112-90 | Loss | -115 | 2 h 18 m | Show
Boston at Milwaukee 1:00 ET Bucks (-) over Celtics- Well, there is no question the Celtics have turned it up a notch for the playoffs and have won five straight. Last season Boston and Milwaukee met in the 1st round of the playoffs and the Celtics prevailed in seven games. This time the Bucks hold the home court and have the hammer with Giannis Antetokounmpo . Milwaukee swept Detroit in four games never being challenged winning by a combined 95 points. For the way these two have played in the past this is a very big price for the Bucks to lay as Boston is not only 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings they are also 9-3 ATS in Brew-town. With those kind of stats this line tells me the Bucks are ready. Take MILWAUKEE! |
04-27-19 | Spurs v. Nuggets -5.5 | Top | 86-90 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 1 m | Show |
San Antonio at Denver 7:00 T Nuggets (-) over Spurs- This has been an under-valued series that comes down to a Game 7 with both side winning twice at home and losing one as hosts. San Antonio has dominated the money in Denver going 16-7 ATS in the last 23 games. The Spurs just have trouble putting together back-to-back performance as they are 1-5 ATS in their last six after an ATS win and 2-7 ATS after a straight-up win and the Nuggets are 5-2 ATS after a 10-point win. Take DENVER! |
04-26-19 | Warriors v. Clippers +10 | 129-110 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 47 m | Show
Golden State at L.A. Clippers 10:00 ET Clippers (+) over Warriors- Okay that makes twice in this series that Golden State has looked past the Clippers and now lead 3-2 with the clincher a possibility tonight. The Warriors had the 'Big-3' leading the way with Durant scoring a playoff career high 45 points, Curry added 24 and Thompson 22 but no other player was in double figures. Golden State sez that they have learned their lesson and will put forth a full 48-minute effort. It still may bring them short...Take the CLIPPERS! |
04-25-19 | Nuggets +3.5 v. Spurs | 103-120 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 53 m | Show
Denver at San Antonio 8:00 ET Nuggets (+) over Spurs- For the first seven quarters of this series the Spurs had the best of it until Denver's Jamal Murray went berserk and lit up San Antonio. So, here we have it, The Nuggets after that rough start have negated the over-rated DeMar DeRozan and stifled LaMarcus Aldridge for the most part. Head-to-head the Nuggets are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings and San Antonio is 1-6 ATS in their Last seven home games. Take DENVER! |
04-24-19 | Jazz +8.5 v. Rockets | 93-100 | Win | 100 | 10 h 45 m | Show
Utah at Houston 8:00 ET Jazz (+) over Rockets- Some team work better when they have their backs up against the 'wall' and the Jazz responded well in their elimination game against the Rockets winning 107-91. Houston who has been the 'hottest' ATS team the past month has a habit of disappearing in big game and there is nothing else for me to look for here. Utah will fight until the final buzzer and the Rockets will just try and cruise by...take UTAH |
04-23-19 | Thunder +4 v. Blazers | 115-118 | Win | 100 | 11 h 20 m | Show
Oklahoma City at Portland 10:30 ET Thunder (+) over Trailblazers- This is the first game in the series that the betting public has abandoned the Thunder as they have seen enough of their 'over-rated' (NBA voted by the players) triple-double machine. Stats are nice but they don't win championships and Oklahoma hasn't won a thing with this 'guy' Russell Westbrook as event Kevin Durant had too much and split. It seems to me as though Paul George is 'laboring' and doesn't look the same to me but it's time for the Thunder meet the challenge. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
04-23-19 | Spurs +5.5 v. Nuggets | 90-108 | Loss | -102 | 10 h 51 m | Show
San Antonio at Denver 9:30 ET Spurs (+) over Nuggets- The idea that this series is even at 2-2 is scary for the Spurs as they have had the best of it for the most part but need this win badly. San Antonio has dominated this series and is 16-6 ATS in their last 22 meetings in Denver. The Nuggets are just 2-9 ATS in their last 11 Conference Quarterfinals games while the Spurs are 16-7-1 ATS in their last 24 games against teams above .500. Add that they are 4-0 ATS after a 10-point loss...Take SAN ANTONIO! |
04-23-19 | Nets +8.5 v. 76ers | 100-122 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 42 m | Show
Brooklyn at Philadelphia 8:00 ET OMG...I told you the very first time I saw Joel Embiid that he was a beast but Lordy...what has he grown into? Really, he is a 'monster' in the true sense of the word, he's a bully on the floor when he wants to be and it appears that he wants to be against the Nets. He even chides them during post game conferences after committing flagrant fouls. The man has no fear and for good reason...he is one bad dude. But, he is not always available and the Nets will play hard until the final buzzer. Take BROOKLYN! |
04-22-19 | Rockets v. Jazz +3 | Top | 91-107 | Win | 100 | 12 h 14 m | Show |
Houston at Utah 10:30 ET Jazz (+) over Rockets- What can I say about this series? The Rockets have dominated even when they didn't dominate the game. James Harden was 0-15 from the floor to start the play before he made a field goal and scored just 22 in the game. That was well below his ppg average but enough to overcome the Jazz. In Game 4 the roles have been reversed as Utah is now a home underdog and they are 29-13 SU at home. In a last gasp effort the Jazz get it done. Take UTAH! |
04-21-19 | Raptors v. Magic +5.5 | 107-85 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 56 m | Show
Toronto at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over Raptors- The way this series has gone it look like Toronto has been dominating but yet only lead 2-1 and now are in Orlando where the Magic won 13 of their last 14 regular season games. But, in Game 3 they shot just 36% and committed 16 turnovers. The Raptors' Kawhi Leonard had difficulty in Game 3 after a stellar performance in Game 2 with 37 points but last time out he was hurting and shot 5-of-19. Magic at home do their thing. Take ORLANDO! |
04-21-19 | Warriors v. Clippers +9.5 | 113-105 | Win | 100 | 5 h 29 m | Show
Golden State at L.A. Clippers 3:30 ET Clippers (+) over Warriors- Well, it appears that Golden State has established that they 'can' turn it on whenever they what as they pound the opposition when they are ready. The Warriors seem to take get pleasure in taking down the Clippers and are 6-1 ATS in their last seven meetings in LA. The Clippers have gone 26-16 SU at home and will come ready themselves this afternoon. Take the CLIPPERS! |
04-21-19 | Celtics v. Pacers +3 | 110-106 | Loss | -105 | 3 h 2 m | Show
Boston at Indiana 1:00 ET Pacers (+) over Celtics- They say that statistics never lie and when we look at 'them' for this series it is easy to see why Boston is up 3-0 as they have out-rebounded the Pacers 148-118 through the three games. This is the same Celtics team that couldn't play nice together during the regular season. Boston has turned it on down the stretch going 8-1 SU in their last nine and 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight overall. With their backs to the wall the Pacers are 4-1-1 ATS following an ATS loss. Take INDIANA! |
04-20-19 | Rockets v. Jazz -125 | Top | 104-101 | Loss | -125 | 11 h 58 m | Show |
Houston at Utah 10:30 ET Jazz (-) over Rockets- I had to do a quick double-take when I saw the Jazz come up favored here as they have lost the first two games of this series by and average of 26 points' Houston has been 'hot' winning nine of 10 with their lone loss a 112-111 defeat at OKC and are 8-1 ATS in their last nine overall. The idea that Utah is favored hits me again when we realize the Rockets are 5-1 ATS in their last six meetings in Utah. But, this is playoff time and with the Jazz down 0-2 they will pull out all stops! Take UTAH! |
04-20-19 | Nuggets +3.5 v. Spurs | 117-103 | Win | 100 | 6 h 51 m | Show
Denver at San Antonio 5:30 ET Nuggets (+) over Spurs- Although Denver is the higher seed most of the 'sharps' have been playing San Antonio as they have had the best of the Nuggets over the years. The Spurs are 22-7 all-time in post-season action including 13-3 in San Antonio and are 26-17 ATS at home while Denver is 17-26 ATS on the road. The Nuggets has lost 14 straight at San Antonio and yet the price here is way too low. The oddsmakers expect the Nuggets to come and play tonight and so do I. Take DENVER! |
04-20-19 | 76ers v. Nets +2 | 112-108 | Loss | -107 | 3 h 19 m | Show
Philadelphia at Brooklyn 3:00 ET Nets (+) over 76ers- The Sixers have a 2-1 lead and well should they as they have put a high scoring pace against Brooklyn that they could match. The main reason is not physical dominance but their distribution of the basketball as they have 75 assists in three games while the Nets have just 47. Philadelphia's dominance is apparent on the boards as well as they have out-rebounded the Nets 103-75 in the series. But, the Nets have posted one win in the series and will take this one down to the final buzzer. Take BROOKLYN! |
04-19-19 | Blazers v. Thunder -7.5 | 108-120 | Win | 100 | 10 h 53 m | Show
Portland at Oklahoma City 9:30 ET Thunder (-) over Trailblazers- OKC is down 0-2 and many 'experts' thought that they were supposed to be favorites in the series and must now rebound at home where they are 4-1 against the Trailblazers. There are a pair over powering trends that favors Portland and that is the Blazers are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 road games and the Thunder are 9-19 ATS as hosts. This is a high price to lay but the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
04-19-19 | Celtics v. Pacers -2.5 | 104-96 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 51 m | Show
Boston at Indiana 8:30 ET Pacers (+) over Celtics- It looks like the Celtics have decided to 'turn it on' and have won their last three games easily including the first two games of this series. Boston has held Indiana to an average of 82.5 points in their pair of wins and the Pacers are 0-10 when scoring less than 100 points in their last 10. Even tho Boston has won the last five meetings (3-1-1 ATS) they are 1-7 SU in their last eight playoff road games. Take INDIANA! |
04-19-19 | Raptors v. Magic +5.5 | 98-93 | Win | 100 | 7 h 26 m | Show
Toronto at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over Raptors- The imposter Raptors are off of their largest margin victory in franchise history in a dominating 111-82 trouncing of the Magic. Orlando who closed the season strong and opened the playoffs with a road win in Game 1 are 4-0 ATS after a SU loss. The Magic have won 13 of their last 14 regular season home games and are 4-1 over Toronto in their last five in Orlando. A rebound game for sure...take ORLANDO! |
04-18-19 | Warriors v. Clippers +9 | 132-105 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 58 m | Show
Golden State at L.A. Clippers 10:30 ET Clippers over Warriors- There is something going on with the Warriors that we just can't figure out. To start with how can a team with the wealth of talent on their NBA roster possibly blow a 31-point third quarter lead as the No. 1 seed to the No. 8 seed. (This isn't hockey) What has happened here now is that Los Angeles will be playing with extreme confidence returning home where they are 16-15 SU while Golden State is just 19-22 ATS. A piece of negative notes about the Clippers is their win at Golden State was their only 'cover' in their last six games and they are just 1-5 ATS in their last six as hosts against the Warriors. But, things are different now. Take the CLIPPERS! |
04-18-19 | Nuggets +4 v. Spurs | 108-118 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 32 m | Show
Denver at San Antonio 9:00 ET Nuggets (+) over Spurs- The fact that the Spurs have won 13 straight home games against Denver has me wondering way this 'price' is so short. The Nuggets recovered from a 19-point deficit late in the third quarter to post a 114-105 victory and even the series at 1-1. San Antonio has had their way against the Nuggets on the road but not so much at home where they are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings and when we add that the Spurs are just 2-5 against Denver at home. Take the NUGGETS! |
04-18-19 | 76ers v. Nets +3.5 | Top | 131-115 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 43 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Brooklyn 8:00 ET Nets (+) over 76ers- The image of who these team are is different than the way things play out when they go head-to-head. The Nets and Sixers have spit their four regular season games and have split their two playoff games to date with Brooklyn going 4-2 ATS. Philadelphia's Joel Embiid physically dominated Nets center Jarrett Allen in Game 2 but will not be able to commit flagrant fouls without notice this time around. Brooklyn is 23-18 SU at home while Philly is 17-24 ATS on the road. Take BROOKLYN! |
04-17-19 | Jazz +7 v. Rockets | Top | 98-118 | Loss | -107 | 10 h 15 m | Show |
Utah at Houston 9:30 ET Jazz (+) over Rockets- Houston rushed out at a 32-point win in Game 1 as the Jazz forgot that they were the second ranked defensive team in the NBA this season. The Rockets have won the last three in this series while the Jazz have won the previous three meetings. Houston who is 32-10 SU at home is also 24-16-2 ATS while hosting but Utah is 3-1-1 ATS in their last five visits to NASA's home town. But, note that Houston is 6-0-1 ATS in their last seven home games. But, after winning Game 1 by a 122-90 margin I expect Utah to rebound here. Take the JAZZ! |
04-17-19 | Pistons v. Bucks -15 | 99-120 | Win | 100 | 9 h 36 m | Show
Detroit at Milwaukee 8:00 ET Bucks (+) over Pistons- The Pistons were without big man Blake Griffin in Game 1 but that didn't stop him from getting a technical from the bench when their other big man Andrew Drummond was ejected. This is new territory for Milwaukee being in the playoffs with the hammer and I don't believe that they will rest on their laurels. Take MILWAUKEE! |
04-17-19 | Pacers +7.5 v. Celtics | 91-99 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 41 m | Show
Indiana at Boston 7:00 ET Pacers (+) over Celtics- The question here is 'Have to Celtics been playing possum the past four weeks?' The way they came out in Game 1 it looks like that may be true. But, I question wether team can just turn it on whenever they like. That huge win in the series opener was Boston first ATS home win after eight straight point spread defeats. Indiana has bounced back going 4-1 ATS after a ATS loss and will be scrambling to stay close here. Take INDIANA! |
04-16-19 | Thunder +2 v. Blazers | 94-114 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 51 m | Show
Oklahoma City at Portland 10:30 ET Thunder (+) over Trailblazers- The thunder made some noise after falling behind by 19 points I game won but the Megabucks winner Portland prevailed with key free throws down the stretch. This is another example of the line moving in the opposite direction of recent history. The Blazers are 33-9 SU at home but their win in Game 1 broke a four game posing streak to OKC who are 4-1 ATS against Portland in the last five meetings. The Trailblazers post season history need mending as they are 8-24-2 in their last 34 Conference Quarterfinals games. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
04-16-19 | Spurs v. Nuggets -6.5 | Top | 105-114 | Win | 100 | 11 h 24 m | Show |
San Antonio at Denver 9:00 ET Nuggets (-) over Spurs- The stats on this matchup are disgusting if you are a Nuggets supporter. San Antonio has won four in-a-row and is an amazing 22-8 ATS in their last 30 trips to the Mile High City. Of course after the Spurs win outright as a 5.5-point underdog and in Game 2 the line has moved a full point to -6.5. Now, does this make any sense other then the Nuggets were 32-9 SU at home but just 2-6 ATS in their last eight as hosts and are 0-8 ATS in their last eight Conference Quarterfinals games. It gets even more confusing as the road team is 29-13 ATS in the last 42 meetings and yet the price on the Nuggets is higher then ever...Take DENVER! |

04-16-19 | Magic v. Raptors -9.5 | 82-111 | Win | 100 | 10 h 25 m | Show
Orlando at Toronto 8:00 ET Raptors (+) over Magic- No one should be surprised with the Game 1 outcome no not because I posted it (Free play) but because the Raptors were just doing their thing. Their thing of course is to lose the first game of any playoff series as they are now 2-14 straight up in their playoff openers. Orlando has been on a rush getting to the post season and have won five straight going 5-0 ATS while Toronto has won seven of eight before their 104-101 loss and are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall. There is one trend that makes me think, the Magic are 15-5-1 in their last 21 games against teams with winning records! |
04-15-19 | Nets v. 76ers -7.5 | Top | 123-145 | Win | 100 | 10 h 25 m | Show |
Brooklyn at Philadelphia 8:00 ET 76ers (-) over Nets- Oh how I hate Game 2 of a playoff series when this happens. What happened? Well, the problem 'we' posted Philadelphia in Game 1 and now possibly will be without Joel Embiid while the 'price' has increased. Brooklyn has now won and covered their last four while the 76ers are 2-5 both SU and ATS in their last seven games overall. The Nets are 7-1 ATS in their last eight road games and 4-1 in the last five meetings but the 'line' has grown because the Sixers are in such need. There is just one-side for me...take PHILADELPHIA! |
04-14-19 | Jazz +6.5 v. Rockets | 90-122 | Loss | -109 | 12 h 45 m | Show
Utah at Houston 9:30 ET Jazz (+) over Rockets- The question is 'Can James Haden continue to score in the NBA post-season.' These two met in the second round of last season's playoffs and Houston knocked out the Jazz in five games. In four games this season each split at home and away while the Rockets were closing the season on a 20-3 run. Houston is 5-0-1 ATS in their last six home games while Utah is 20-5-1 ATS after a SU loss and 6-1 ATS on the road against a team with a winning record. Add that the Jazz are 3-0-1 in the last four meetings in Houston. Take UTAH! |
04-14-19 | Thunder v. Blazers -3.5 | Top | 99-104 | Win | 100 | 6 h 56 m | Show |
Oklahoma City at Portland 3:30 ET Trailblazers (-) over Thunder- I had a feeling right away about this one when I heard one of the local Vegas radio personality saying that Oklahoma City would be the favorite here. Off course he was considering the injury to Portland's center Jusuf Nurkic who is out for the season as the key factor. But, ya know what, the addition of Enes Kanter will do just fine, the key factor to be aware of is the condition of CJ McCollum who is one game back after missing 10 straight. Westbrook and Lillard can play to a wash but the rest of the Blazers will have to contend with Paul George who averaged 38 points and 10.5 rebounds as the Thunder won and 'covered' all four meetings this season. Portland is 10-1 ATS in their last 11 when playing with three or ore days rest. Turn-about-is-fair-play...take the TRAILBLAZERS! |
04-14-19 | Pacers v. Celtics -7 | 74-84 | Win | 100 | 3 h 21 m | Show
Indiana at Boston 1:00 ET Celtics (-) over Pacers- These two met in their opening game back on Nov. 3 and the Pacers pull out a 102-101 win as a 3.5-point home dog. Boston won the next three including twice the final week to give them the fourth seed and home floor in the series. I'm wondering if Boston has put their egos aside for the playoffs and play as a team. The Celtics are 0-8 ATS in their last eight home games and 1-6-1 ATS after a straight-up win. Indiana just doesn't show well on the road where they are 7-16 ATS in their last 23 and just 1-6 ATS against the NBA Atlantic. Although the Pacers are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings, the big games and money are on the line now...take INDIANA |
04-13-19 | Spurs v. Nuggets -5.5 | 101-96 | Loss | -107 | 34 h 49 m | Show
San Antonio at Denver 10:30 ET Spurs (+) over Nuggets- San Antonio has had a weak year on the road going 16-25 SU and 19-20-2 ATS while Denver is 34-7 SU at home and 25-16 ATS. The Spurs have built up a winning record at Denver and is 21-8 ATS in their last 29 in the Mile High City, The Nuggets are 8-21 ATS vs the NBA Southwest but the favorite is 10-4 last 14. With the Spurs get success in Denver the road team is 28-13 ATS in the last 41 games overall. Take DENVER! |
04-13-19 | Clippers +13 v. Warriors | Top | 104-121 | Loss | -115 | 32 h 35 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Golden State 8:00 ET Clippers (+) over Warriors- Well, we shall see! Everybody has been waiting for Golden State to put it all together and now is the time. But, are they capable of just doing it when ever they want no matter the competition. Most believe that they can and will but their #1-#8 match-up isn't the norm. Have you ever seen a team 48-34 (14-games over) an eighth seed...no answer needed it's not even close. Doc Rivers has done an incredible job with a club the unloaded their two 'best' and they were thought to be dead in the water. LA is 4-1 ATS is their last five at Golden State and the road team 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Take the CLIPPERS! |
04-13-19 | Nets v. 76ers -7 | Top | 111-102 | Loss | -104 | 26 h 39 m | Show |
Brooklyn at Philadelphia 2:30 ET Nets (+) over 76ers- I get the feeling that the 76ers believe that they can just turn it on anytime they want and although there may be some times that can do that I don't know if Philadelphia is one of them. Brooklyn showed some metal winning their finals three to get here while the Sixers limp in (with make shift line-ups) going 4-6 in their last 10. The Nets a e 7-1 ATS in their last eight on the road. Take BROOKLYN! 6-15 ATS against NBA Atlanta home team 4-1 ATS last five. Warriors 9-20-1 ATS last 30 at home and yet are the largest favorite in Game 1. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
04-10-19 | Pacers +2 v. Hawks | 135-134 | Win | 100 | 9 h 30 m | Show
Indiana at Atlanta 8:00 ET Pacers (+) over Hawks- Indiana losers of their last two contests losing in a playoff position meaningful matchup they fell to Boston at home on Friday and then to the Nets on Sunday and have now lost nine of 12. So, now they will still play the Celtics but without the home court as they have fallen to the No. 5 seed. Although Atlanta is just 1-3 in their last four straight-up they have been a winner going 7-2 ATS. This being the final day of the regular season I look for the Pacers to end on a positive note and post a win. Take INDIANA! |
04-09-19 | Rockets v. Thunder +2 | 111-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 18 m | Show
Houston at Oklahoma City 9:30 ET Thunder (+) over Rockets- Truthfully, I never expected Houston to be where they are right now having won six straight and 20 of 23 and now trail Denver by one-game for the second spot in the West as they play their final game tonight. Denver travels to Utah and need one win in their two remaining contests to secure that second spot. I can see the Rockets who set an NBA record for 3-point shots made (27) last time out just sleep walking through their final game looking to stay healthy. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
04-09-19 | Nuggets +2.5 v. Jazz | 108-118 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 52 m | Show
Denver at Utah 9:00 ET Nuggets (+) over Jazz- Two weeks ago it appeared that the Nuggets were a shoe-in for the No. 2 seed in the West with a healthy chance at besting the Warriors, but alas, they have dropped five of nine while the Rockets were winning 20 of 23. So now with the pressure on Denver must get serious about tonight's encounter in Salt Lake City where they have lost eight straight times. Utah is coming off of a loss at the Lakers but had won seven straight and 12 of 13 before that trip to LA. With all of that I believe that this number is 'short' for a reason...take DENVER! |
04-09-19 | Celtics v. Wizards -4.5 | Top | 116-110 | Loss | -109 | 7 h 56 m | Show |
Boston at Washington 7:00 ET Wizards (-) over Celtics- What we have been hearing during the NBA season is the large number of teams that are 'tanking' and for the most part these are teams that are playing 'down' for better lottery position. Win or lose Boston is locked into the No. 4 seed and will host Indiana on Saturday and have already took the first two meetings between these two this season. In both meetings the Celtics were favored including by -3.5 at Washington. This time around Boston will be without Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart who were injured last time out and they will not play as well others will sit as well. There has been a virtual 10-point swing in the 'line' as Celtics' coach Brad Stevens stated his starters will 'play a lot less if at all.' Take the WIZARDS! |
04-07-19 | Magic +5 v. Celtics | Top | 116-108 | Win | 100 | 8 h 2 m | Show |
Orlando at Boston 7:30 ET Magic (+) over Celtics- Orlando who has missed the NBA playoff the past six seasons need a single win to clinch their first playoff berth since 2013. The Magic took both meetings this season against the Celtics but are 4-12-1 ATS in their last 17 trips to Beantown. Boston who is just 20-20 ATS at home and are 0-7 ATS in their last seven home games. The Magic are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 and they are 14-4-1 ATS against the Atlantic Division while Boston is just 1-5-1 ATS after a straight-up win. It just looks too easy to take Boston here and with the road team 5-2 AST in the last seven meetings. Take ORLANDO! |
04-07-19 | Mavs +2 v. Grizzlies | 129-127 | Win | 100 | 6 h 24 m | Show
Dallas at Memphis 6:00 ET Mavericks (+) over Grizzlies- With both these teams out of the playoff picture they are fighting for draft position right now. This is the second of back-to-back meetings with Memphis winning their third straight this season over the Mavericks and looking at a four-game series sweep. With that being said we see that Dallas is still 9-4 ATS in their last 13 meetings in Memphis. Note that the underdog is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings and the Mavericks are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven road games. Take DALLAS! |
04-07-19 | Thunder -6.5 v. Wolves | 132-126 | Loss | -105 | 4 h 3 m | Show
Oklahoma City at Minnesota 3:30 ET Thunder (-) over Timberwolves- Minnesota who have been long eliminated from the playoffs for the 14th time in 15 seasons have won four of their last seven including a win over Golden State. Meanwhile, OKC is in a battle between the Clippers and Spurs for spots 6-8 in the NBA West. This is a huge game for the Thunder as they have Houston and Milwaukee up next to close the season. The oddity here is that the Timberwolves have won all three meetings this year and are 0-7 ATS in their last seven meetings and yet the Thunder are such a strong favorite here. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
04-06-19 | Nets +6.5 v. Bucks | 133-128 | Win | 100 | 6 h 59 m | Show
Brooklyn at Milwaukee 8:00 ET Nets (+) over Bucks- Let me start by saying that the 'numbers' just don't look good for the Nets. To start with the Bucks are showing the NBA world that they are for real and not just a one-man team. Milwaukee is off of a huge win over Philadelphia where Giannis Antetokounmpo showed his true domination scoring 45 points with 13 rebounds and six assists along with three blocked shots. The Bucks are 33-6 SU at home and have had the Nets under their thumb for years as they are 26-8-1 ATS in the last 35 meetings. This should aid Brooklyn as the Bucks cruise here. Take the NETS! |
04-05-19 | Heat v. Wolves +3.5 | 109-111 | Win | 100 | 7 h 20 m | Show
Miami at Minnesota 8:05 ET Timberwolves (+) over Heat- The heat is on Miami as they have fallen a half-game behind Orlando for the final playoff spot in the East and play three of their final four on the road. That actually might be a plus for them as they are 26-12 ATS on the road as opposed to 16-23-1 ATS at home but have dropped their last two. The Timberwolves who have fought threw a season of turmoil are 24-12 SU at home but are up against a Miami team that is 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings in Minnesota. Josh Richardson the Heat's leading scorer has missed three of the last four games and is more than questionable for tonight's encounter. This kind of pressure to win will have a depressed Miami team too tight to preform at this best. Take MINNESOTA! |
04-05-19 | Celtics v. Pacers +1 | Top | 117-97 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 31 m | Show |
Boston at Indiana 8:05 ET Paces (+) over Celtics- These two are tied for the fourth seed in the NBA playoffs with identical 47-32 records and this game will carry weight with just three games to go as to who will get the home court in the soon to be playoff series. Boston owns the tie-breaker so this game puts more pressure on the Pacers as they have a one game advantage is conference play. The home team has won all three meetings this season with the Celtics winning a non-cover 114-112 last Friday but Indiana is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings. Boston is hanging on by a tread but are very inconsistent in that that are 1-5 ATS after a straight-up win. With this game a virtual pick-em affair we see that Indiana is 29-10 SU at home while the Celtics are just 19-20 on the road. Take the PACERS! |
04-05-19 | Raptors v. Hornets +6 | 111-113 | Win | 100 | 6 h 27 m | Show
Toronto at Charlotte 7:00 ET Hornets (+) over Raptors- Toronto has reeled off five straight victories since Jeremy Lamb of the Hornets banked in a half-court shot at the buzzer for a 115-114 win at Toronto. Charlotte trails Brooklyn and Orlando for the final playoff spot by 2½ games with just four to go and will be desperate here for an outright win. Kemba Walker has been Charlotte's standout leading them in scoring to the point where last week he was the only Hornets player to score in double figures. Charlotte is 24-15 SU at home while Toronto is just 19-20 south of the border and I can see the home team get a win here. Oh yeah one final thing, the Raptors are 12-25 ATS in the last 37 meetings overall against Charlotte. Take the HORNETS! |
04-03-19 | Rockets v. Clippers +1 | 135-103 | Loss | -106 | 10 h 16 m | Show
Houston at L.A. Clippers 10:30 ET Clippers (+) over Rockets- A pair of the NBA's hottest clubs face off with just four games remaining with playoff seeding in the balance. Houston has a half game lead on Portland for the No. 3 seed in the West while the Clippers are a half-game behind Utah for the fifth spot. LA has won 13 of their last 15 and the Rockets are blasting off with 17 wins in their last 20 encounters. The Clippers are 2-0 against Houston this season and are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings and the Rockets are just 16-22-1 ATS on the road while LA is 25-13 SU at home. Take LA CLIPPERS! |
