01-22-21 | Nets v. Cavs UNDER 227 | 113-125 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 7 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under. The Nets new Big Three made their debut in Cleveland on Wednesday, and things didn't go as planned. Kyrie Irving scored 37 points on 15-of-28 shooting, but his defensive assignment (Colin Sexton) went off for a career high 42 points and helped Cleveland win in overtime by a score of 147-135. The Cavs held Brooklyn to 113 points in regulation, well below their season average of 120 ppg. Cleveland has been one of the best in the league on defense, allowing just 106 points per game. Unfortunately for the Cavs their offense only averages 102.9 ppg (29th). The under is 9-2 in Cavaliers last 11 games as an underdog, and they have failed to reach the total in 10 of their last 12 overall. GL, Jesse Schule |

01-09-21 | UCLA v. Arizona OVER 138.5 | 81-76 | Win | 100 | 20 h 37 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Over. The Wildcats are coming off an 87-73 loss to USC, and they have scored 70+ in each of their last six games. Both of these teams have averaged over 75 points per game this season, and we can expect another high score in Arizona tonight. The over is 5-2 in the Bruins last seven overall, and the Wildcats have gone over in five of their last six overall. The Wildcats have gone over in five of their last six home games. This game really could go either way, but we expect both teams to score 70+. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-31-20 | Nevada v. New Mexico UNDER 147.5 | 68-54 | Win | 100 | 23 h 39 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under. Nevada has played strong defense so far this season, and in two games in the Mountain West they held their opponent to fewer than 70 points in each contest. The Lobos have played twice in the league and have failed to score 54 points in both of those games. The under is 6-1-1 in the Lobos last eight overall, and they are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following an ATS loss. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-27-20 | UC-Santa Barbara v. Cal-Irvine OVER 135 | 56-75 | Loss | -105 | 25 h 35 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over. These two teams have historically played low scoring games, but because of that we see a low total for tonight's contest. The low number doesn't really reflect what we've seen from these teams so far this season. The Ant Eaters are averaging just under 90 points per game, and they rank 5th in the Big West with a field goal percentage of .484. They have also hit more than 70 percent of their free throws. The Gauchos rank second in the Big West in scoring, and they have a field goal percentage of .542. The over is 4-1 in the Anteaters last five overall. GL, Jesse Schule |

12-22-20 | West Virginia v. Kansas UNDER 140.5 | 65-79 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 59 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under. The Kansas Jayhawks are 7-1 and ranked #3 overall. They have been strong defensively, allowing just 59.3 points per game at home. They host West Virginia tonight, and this will be the third meeting between these teams in 2020. The previous two games each went under the total, with Kansas winning 63-50 at home, and 58-49 at West Virginia. The under is 21-10-1 in Mountaineers last 32 overall, and the under is 5-0 in Jayhawks last five overall. The total for tonight's game is far higher than it was the last time these teams played last February. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-21-20 | Arkansas-Little Rock v. Missouri State UNDER 146 | 77-85 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 48 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under. These teams played last season and the Trojans won by a score of 67-66. The total for that game was set at 140, and the total in the previous five meetings was lower than 130. This appears to be an inflated number based on season averages on both offense and defense. The Missouri State Bears have held four of their last five opponents to fewer than 70 points, and I expect them make life difficult for the Trojans. Little Rock shot just 3-of-14 from beyond the arc in last year's game against the Bears. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-18-20 | Davidson v. Rhode Island UNDER 140 | 67-58 | Win | 100 | 5 h 14 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under. The Davidson Wildcats are coming off a loss to Charlotte, in a game that they scored just 52 points on 34 percent shooting. They will be at Rhode Island Friday, taking on a Rams team that is coming off back to back losses averaging 63.5 points in those games. The last meeting between these two teams went to overtime, which pushed the total over the number. They came up short of the number in five of the previous six meetings. The under is 8-1 in Wildcats last nine games following a double-digit loss at home, and the under is 10-3 in the Rams last 13 home games. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-11-20 | Marquette v. UCLA OVER 139 | 60-69 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 18 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over. The UCLA Bruins opened the season with a 73-58 loss to San Diego State. They shot below 40% in the loss, but they have since won four in a row, averaging 86 points. They host Marquette on Friday night, and the Golden Eagles are off to a good start despite the loss of Markus Howard. The over is 8-3 in the Golden Eagles last 11 road games, and the over is 16-7 in the Bruins last 23 games following an ATS win. Marquette is averaging 77 points per game after winning four of five. We should see a close game with both teams scoring 70+ points. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-07-20 | Morehead State v. Eastern Kentucky OVER 145.5 | 68-71 | Loss | -109 | 18 h 3 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over. The Eastern Kentucky Colonels are 3-1, and their lone loss came in a 99-96 loss to Xavier. They have averaged 83 points per game so far, and they will be a double digit favorite here against Morehead State. The Eagles are coming off a 77-44 loss to Ohio State, and the over is 8-3 in the Eagles last 11 games following a straight up loss of more than 20 points. These two teams played twice already in 2020, and both of those games saw more than 145 combined points. The total for this game is lower than it was in those previous meetings. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-05-20 | South Carolina v. Houston UNDER 141 | Top | 67-77 | Loss | -105 | 17 h 24 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Under. The Houston Cougars are ranked #10 overall, and they play a very strong defense. They have allowed just 52 points per game so far, and last year they were one of the top defensive teams in the AAC. The under is 21-7-1 in the Cougars last 29 home games, and the under is 21-8 in Cougars last 29 overall. The Gamecocks are 1-1, and neither of those two games saw more than 140 combined points. They are coming off a 69-58 win over Tulsa, and a similar score is expected here against Houston. The Cougars have also failed to reach the total in eight of their last nine Saturday games. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-04-20 | North Dakota v. Minnesota UNDER 149 | 67-76 | Win | 100 | 20 h 17 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under. Minnesota looks impressive after three games, and they are a huge favorite against North Dakota. These teams met earlier last season, and the Gophers won that game of 79-56. The total for that game was listed at 138, more than 10 points lower than this year's meeting. This number looks a little inflated and I am making a value play by fading the big number. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-02-20 | Montana State v. Pacific UNDER 137 | 70-74 | Loss | -105 | 17 h 34 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under. The Pacific Tigers have a win and a loss so far, and they went under in both of those games. A combination of strong defense and not so strong offense seems to be a recipe for low scoring games. Hitting less than half of their free throws certainly has been a factor. Montana State scored 91 points in a win over UNLV in their opener, but they have gone under in nine of their last 11 after scoring 90 or more points. The under is 7-1 in the Tigers last eight games following an ATS loss, and they have failed to reach the total in five of their last seven home games. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-30-20 | Pacific v. Nevada UNDER 150 | 58-70 | Win | 100 | 22 h 4 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under. The Nevada Wolfpack have played excellent defense during a 2-0 start, holding their opponents to an average of just 57 points. A home game against Pacific should be a defensive battle, as the Tigers can also play strong defense. The under is 12-5 in the Tigers last 17 road games versus a team with a winning home record. The Wolfpack's last two games against teams from the WCC were losses to St. Mary's (68-63) and to BYU (75-42). Nevada has failed to reach the total in five straight against teams with a winning record. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-29-20 | Oakland v. Michigan OVER 148.5 | 71-81 | Win | 100 | 13 h 26 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Over. The Wolverines shot over 54 percent in a 96-82 win over Bowling Green in their first game of the season, and they might shoot out the lights again tonight against Oakland. The Golden Grizzlies are 0-3, and they have given up an average of 85 points in those losses. These two teams haven't played since 2011, but Michigan won that game by a score of 90-80. The over is 5-1 in the Wolverines last six overall, and the over is 11-4 in the Golden Grizzlies last 15 Sunday games. I expect this non-conference game to be another shootout. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-28-20 | LSU v. St. Louis UNDER 147 | 81-85 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 4 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under. The Bilikens won 15 of their 18 home games last season, and they are bringing back all their starters from last season. They host LSU Saturday, and the Tigers lost six of 10 road games last season, and they also bring back the majority of their starters. The Billikens are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games, and 4-1 ATS in their last five home games. The under is 19-7-1 in Billikens last 27 Saturday games, and they allowed just 52 points in their win over SIU on Thursday. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-26-20 | Purdue v. Clemson UNDER 131.5 | 70-81 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 26 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under. |
|||||||
10-02-20 | Heat v. Lakers OVER 216 | 114-124 | Win | 100 | 12 h 31 m | Show
This is a 5* play on the Over. What did we learn in Game 1? We learned that the Heat simply can't stop LeBron James and Anthony Davis. If they play the same style, they will lose the next three games and go out in a sweep. The only way the Heat can have a chance at beating LA is to completely change their strategy. The need to accept the fact that their best effort on defense isn't going to be good enough, and put all their efforts into outscoring LA. That means more three point shooting, a faster pace, and more minutes for their young shooters who are a liability on defense. Both these teams have gone over in four of their last five overall, yet this total has been bet down a few points since it opened. I'll go with the over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-19-20 | Celtics v. Heat OVER 206 | 117-106 | Win | 100 | 19 h 50 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 206. I bet the under in Game 2, and it just barely hit landing on 207. The Celtics scored 60 points in the first half, and then once again they fell apart late. This is turning out to be a ratings nightmare for the league, and everyone outside of Miami is hoping and praying Boston can come back and make this a series again. A few favorable calls and a few more trips to the free throw line wouldn't be much of a suprise in Game 3. Miami keeps getting their points, and they are now 10-1 in the playoffs. They have averaged 112 points in those games, failing to score 100 or more just once. The over is 26-12 in Miami's last 38 games following a straight up win. These teams have only gone over in one of the last six meetings, when the Heat won in overtime in Game 1. That being said, five of those six games saw more than 206 points. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-18-20 | Nuggets v. Lakers OVER 211 | Top | 114-126 | Win | 100 | 13 h 60 m | Show |
This is an 8* play on Over. The Nuggets are a ratings nightmare for the NBA, denying everyone the Clippers vs Lakers Western Conference Final that we waited for all season. Not only did they come back and win three straight after trailing the Clippers 3-1 in the series, they trailed by double digits in Game 7. The Nuggets shot over 49 percent from the field in Game 7 versus the Clippers, but it's hard to imagine they won't be set up for a let down in Game 1 versus the Lakers. After defeating the Jazz in a low scoring Game 7 in the first round, they lost Game 1 of their series versus the Clippers by a score of 120-97. Other than two low scoring Game 7s, Denver has seen 10 of their 12 playoff games go over the total of 210. The Lakers are averaging over 114 points per game in these playoffs, and the over is 20-7-2 in their last 29 meetings versus Denver. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-17-20 | Heat v. Celtics UNDER 209.5 | 106-101 | Win | 100 | 8 h 28 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Under. Here is what I said prior to Game 1: "You know the story.. defense wins championships. The Celtics certainly have been playing some defense, allowing the fewest points per game (100) of any team in this year's playoffs. The Heat are right behind them, allowing 103 points per game (2nd) so far this post-season. These teams have a history of battling hard against each other, and seven of the last 10 head to head meetings have gone under the total. The Heat have failed to reach the total in seven of their last 10 overall, while Boston has gone under in eight of it's last nine overall. Expect no easy buckets in Game 1." A late collapse by the Celtics allowed the Heat to force OT, and the total went well over. I expect a tighter defensive game here in Game 2. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-15-20 | Heat v. Celtics UNDER 210.5 | 117-114 | Loss | -106 | 34 h 21 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under. You know the story.. defense wins championships. 09-09-20 | Raptors v. Celtics UNDER 210 | 125-122 | Loss | -103 | 28 h 50 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under. The Celtics have the defending champions on the ropes, and given that this is an elimination game for Toronto, we should expect a hard fought defensive battle. Every game in this series so far has gone under, and I don't see either of these teams lossening up the defense in Game 6. I said this prior to Game 3: "The Raptors had a poor showing in Game 1, hitting just 36.9 percent of their shots from the field. After closer examination it was a poor first quarter, and the remainder of the game was nearly even. They improved only slightly in Game 2, hitting 40 percent from the field. I can't see any reason to expect these teams to loosen up the defense in Game 4, we should see another low score. That has been the trend when these teams meet, with seven of the last nine meetings going under. The under is 8-1 in the Celtics last nine overall, and the under is 15-3 in Celtics last 18 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points. The under is 12-4 in Raptors last 16 overall, and the under is 17-5-1 in Raptors last 23 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points." Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-06-20 | Rockets v. Lakers UNDER 224 | 109-117 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 27 m | Show
This is a 5* play on the Under. The Rockets shocked the Lakers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinal, but history tells us we can expect them to bounce back in Game 2. They lost Game 1 in their first round series versus Portland, and responded with a strong defensive effort in Game 2, holding the Blazers to just 88 points. The Rockets have a reputation for playing high scoring games, but they have gone under in six of their last seven as an underdog. The under is 11-2 in the Rockets last 13 games playing on 1 days rest. The Lakers have gone under in five of their last six off a double digit home loss. These teams have gone under in four of the last five head to head meetings. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-05-20 | Raptors v. Celtics UNDER 214 | 100-93 | Win | 100 | 15 h 9 m | Show

|||||||
09-04-20 | Bucks v. Heat UNDER 223.5 | 100-115 | Win | 100 | 33 h 15 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under. The #1 seed Milwaukee Bucks find themselves down 0-2 after losing 116-114 in Game 2. The final score soared well past the listed number, but perhaps it was closer than you think. With under two minutes to play in the game, the score was 110-102, and under bettors still had 10 points to work with. They went on to score 18 points in the final minute and 45 seconds, when they could have easily scored 8-10 or even fewer during that span. Despite some excellent defense by Miami, and the Bucks facing a must win situation, the total for Game 3 hasn't come down at all. These teams have failed to reach the total in seven of the last 10 meetings, and the Heat have gone under in four of their last five in the Conference Semifinals. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-03-20 | Raptors v. Celtics UNDER 215.5 | 104-103 | Win | 100 | 12 h 3 m | Show
This is a 10* play on Under. |
|||||||
09-02-20 | Thunder v. Rockets UNDER 218.5 | 102-104 | Win | 100 | 21 h 50 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under in Game 7. We saw some strong defensive play in Game 6, with the Thunder recording the upset by a score of 104-100. Expect more of the same in a winner takes all Game 7. Last night's Game 7 between Utah and Denver ended with a final score of 80-78, going under by more than 60 points. The under is 48-21-1 in the Thunder's last 70 games as an underdog. The under is 9-3 in the Rockets last 12 games following a straight up loss, and they have failed to reach the total in nine of their last 13 overall. We expect every possession to be a war, with no easy buckets. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
09-01-20 | Celtics v. Raptors UNDER 217.5 | 102-99 | Win | 100 | 12 h 44 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under 218. |
|||||||
08-31-20 | Heat v. Bucks UNDER 223.5 | 115-104 | Win | 100 | 10 h 38 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under 223.5. The Miami Heat were the only team in the Eastern Conference to win a regular season series versus Milwaukee. These teams are both among the top defensive sides in the NBA, and seven of the last 10 meetings have fallen short of the number. Three of the four games Miami played in the first round fell well short of the number of 223.5, and the under is 13-6-2 in Bucks last 21 versus a team with a winning straight up record. The Bucks averaged 116 points per game in their series versus Orlando, a few points fewer than their regular season average. I expect points to be even harder to come by against the Heat. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-24-20 | Lakers v. Blazers UNDER 225 | 135-115 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 19 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Under. All three games in this series have gone under, and that hasn't really moved the needle with bookmakers keeping the total on the same number. After a terrible shooting performance in Game 1, the Lakers have turned up the defensive intensity and focused on high percentage shots. LeBron wants to muddy it up a little, knowing it's not a good idea to get into a shootout with Dame and the Blazers. The under is 11-5 in the Lakers last 16 games as a favorite, and they have failed to reach the total in 10 of their last 14 overall. The under is 4-1 in the Blazers last five Conference Quarterfinals games, and they have failed to reach the total in four straight as an underdog. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-17-20 | Nets v. Raptors UNDER 222 | 110-134 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 26 m | Show
This is an 8* play on under 222. The defending champions played 24 playoff games last season, and only five of those games saw more than 222 points. In their first round series versus Orlando all five games fell well short of that number. They come into the first round of this year's playoffs as the biggest favorite on the board, and they boast the NBA's #1 ranked defense. The Raptors were one of few teams (if not the only team) that played low scoring games in the bubble. The under is 7-2 in Toronto's last nine overall. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-07-20 | Celtics v. Raptors UNDER 218.5 | 122-100 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 41 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under 218.5. So far in the bubble in Orlando we have seen some really high scores. Because of that the totals are being bet up to astronomically high numbers. So far all of the Raptor's games have gone under, and by a large margin. They are facing the Celtics for the fourth time this season, and two of the first three meetings went under the total. Kemba Walker is expected to play after resting a sore knee in the last game, but he's averaging just 14 points over his last four games. Marc Gasol preaches team defense: "In our locker room, if you don't have the will or the discipline to play defense, it is going to be really hard for you to see the floor, and that gives the coaches a lot of credit, right?" Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-05-20 | Nets v. Celtics UNDER 228 | 115-149 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 16 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under 228. So far in the bubble in Orlando we have seen some really high scores. Because of that the totals are being bet up to astronomically high numbers. Monday four of the six games went under, and by a large margin. On Tuesday that trend continued, but one of the games that did go over was the Nets win over Milwaukee. It was the largest upset in the NBA in the last 27 years. That could set them up for a let down here against Boston. The Celtics are resting leading scorer Kemba Walker, so don't be surprised if these teams struggle to reach such a high number. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-04-20 | Magic v. Pacers UNDER 224 | 109-120 | Loss | -106 | 9 h 3 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under 224. So far in the bubble in Orlando we have seen some really high scores. Because of that the totals are being bet up to astronomically high numbers. Yesterday four of the six games went under, and by a large margin. The Magic are facing the Pacers on Tuesday, and both teams have been impressive so far. The bookmakers haven't set a total as high as 220 in any of the previous 10 meetings between these teams, and in fact the last six meetings had a total set below 210. Both these teams are among the top defensive squads in the NBA, and I expect this game to have a playoff feel to it. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
08-03-20 | Spurs v. 76ers UNDER 227.5 | 130-132 | Loss | -107 | 6 h 41 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under 227.5. The Spurs and the Sixers are trending in opposite directions. This isn't the same San Antonio team we saw struggle during the season. Since the restart they have won back to back games, and they look like a team desperate to make the playoffs. The Sixers on the other hand are the exact same team they were earlier this season. Philly was brutal away from home, and their first game of the restart was a loss to Indiana. The Sixers rank just 21st in the NBA in scoring, and 7th in the NBA in points allowed. We should see a playoff type atmosphere in this game, which should keep the score under 227.5. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-08-20 | Pepperdine v. St. Mary's OVER 144.5 | 82-89 | Win | 100 | 15 h 52 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Over 144.5. Pepperdine is coming off an 84-73 win over Santa Clara, and I expect to see another high score here in Las Vegas when they play St. Mary's. The Gaels won 78-69 at Pepperdine earlier this season, the over is 19-7 in the Gaels last 26 overall. St. Mary's is coming off an 86-76 loss to Gonzaga, and the over is 6-1 in the Gaels last seven games following a straight up loss. The over is 5-1 in the Waves last six neutral site games, and they have gone over in 10 of their last 14 as an underdog. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
03-07-20 | Utah State v. San Diego State OVER 130 | 59-56 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 27 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Over 130. |
|||||||
03-04-20 | Air Force v. Fresno State UNDER 143.5 | 77-70 | Loss | -115 | 15 h 45 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under 143.5. The Bulldogs beat the Falcons by a score of 71-62 just a few weeks ago, falling short of the total of 143. It was the sixth time in the last seven head to head meetings that these teams failed to reach the total. The majority of those games saw a lower number than we see for tonight's game. Air Force only scores an average of 66 points per game away from home, and they have averaged just over 58 points per game in their last seven versus the Bulldogs. This total appears to be on the wrong side of 140. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-27-20 | Arizona State v. UCLA OVER 141 | 72-75 | Win | 100 | 12 h 21 m | Show
This is a 1* free play on Over 141. The UCLA Bruins host the Arizona State Sun Devils in a big game in the PAC12 tonight. The winner will take over first place in the conference, and both these teams come in riding long winning streaks. The Sun Devils are going for an eighth straight win, while the Bruins have won five straight. The total seems a little low here considering that both teams have been scoring plenty during their win streaks. History suggests that we could see a high score, as eight of the last 10 meetings have seen at least 150 points scored. That includes an 84-66 win for Arizona State at home just a few weeks ago. The Sun Devils have gone over in five of their last six road games, and the over is 13-5 in the Bruins last 18 games following a win. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

02-25-20 | DePaul v. Xavier OVER 136 | 67-78 | Win | 100 | 15 h 12 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Over 136. The Xavier Musketeers host Depaul tonight, and the bookmakers have listed a low number for the total. The reason is likely a trend of low scoring games, with these teams going under in eight straight head to head meetings and nine of the last 10. Of course tonight's total is far lower than it was in any of those games. Each of the last five meetings saw a total of 140 or higher, and twice the total was higher than 150. Depaul has given up a ton of points over their last five games, allowing an average of 79 points. They have scored 70+ points in three of their last four games. This total seems just a little lower than it should be. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

02-19-20 | California v. Washington State OVER 132 | 66-57 | Loss | -115 | 22 h 56 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 132. California is coming off a home loss to Arizona State (80-75), and I had the over in that game. Here is what I said prior to tip off: "California and Arizona State have failed to reach the total in five straight head to head meetings, but the bookmakers might have over-corrected with a super low number here in Sunday's game. The total in each of the last four meetings was higher than 150, and each of the last eight meetings had a total higher than 140. As poorly as California has played this season, they have scored 72 points and 69 points respectively in two of their last three home games." We see another low total here in tonight's game at Washington State. It's lower than it was when the Bears beat the Cougars 73-66 at home earlier this year. Three of the last five meetings between these teams had a total over 150. Let's punish the books for offering such a low number here in this game. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-17-20 | Xavier v. St. John's OVER 141 | 77-74 | Win | 100 | 12 h 48 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 140. The St. John's Red Storm will be a home dog on Monday against Xavier, and history suggests this could be a high scoring battle. The total sits at just 140, while in previous meetings we had seen far higher totals. Eight of the last nine meetings had a total higher than 145, and five of those games had a total higher than 150. The Red Storm have been scoring plenty of points at home, averaging almost 78 points per game while winning 11 of 16 home games. They have averaged almost 75 points per game in their last five overall, and they have averaged 73 points in their last three home games against Xavier. The over is 6-3 in the last nine head to head meetings, but all nine of those games went over 140 combined points. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-16-20 | Arizona State v. California OVER 134 | 80-75 | Win | 100 | 11 h 42 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 133.5. California and Arizona State have failed to reach the total in five straight head to head meetings, but the bookmakers might have over-corrected with a super low number here in Sunday's game. The total in each of the last four meetings was higher than 150, and each of the last eight meetings had a total higher than 140. As poorly as California has played this season, they have scored 72 points and 69 points respectively in two of their last three home games. Arizona State hasn't been one of the better defensive teams in the PAC12, and they are allowing 72.5 points per game on the road. The Bears average almost 69 points per game at home, and they should be competitive here against the Sun Devils. The over is 4-1 in the Sun Devils last five road games, and the over is 5-1 in the Golden Bears last six home games versus a team with a winning road record. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-15-20 | Texas v. Iowa State UNDER 137 | 52-81 | Win | 100 | 10 h 19 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under 137. The Iowa State Cyclones will host Texas Saturday afternoon, and this will be their second game since losing leading scorer Tyrese Haliburton for the rest of the season with a wrist injury. They scored just 61 points in a loss at Oklahoma on Wednesday. Iowa State has struggled offensively scoring just over 63 points per game in their last five overall. That's still roughly five points more than Texas has averaged during that span. The Longhorns could also be without a pair of starters for this game. Texas has failed to reach the total in five of their last six overall, and this should be another low scoring game. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-14-20 | Davidson v. St Bonaventure OVER 133 | 93-64 | Win | 100 | 13 h 38 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 133. The Davidson Wildcats will be on the road at St. Bonaventure Friday, and the bookmakers may have set a low number for this game. Both these teams come in scoring plenty of points in recent games. The Wildcats have scored almost 80 points per game in their last five overall, while the Bonnies have averaged 73 points per game during that span. These teams failed to reach the total in a low scoring game last March, but they had gone over in four straight meetings prior to that. The over is 6-2-1 in the Bonnies last nine overall, and they have gone over in five straight home meetings versus Davidson. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-14-20 | Akron v. Central Michigan UNDER 155 | 80-67 | Win | 100 | 11 h 54 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Under 155.5. The Central Michigan Chippewas rank in the top 10 nationally averaging over 81 points per game, but I don't like their chances of reaching that number here as a home underdog versus Akron. Central Michigan has averaged fewer than 73 points over their last five games, while Akron has held opponents to fewer than 70 points per game in their last five. The Zips have won two of the last three meetings, and neither team surpassed the 70 point mark in those games. The under is 38-18 in the Zips last 56 games as a favorite, and the Chippewas have failed to reach the total in each of their last four as an underdog. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-13-20 | Washington v. USC UNDER 137.5 | 56-62 | Win | 100 | 17 h 41 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under 137.5. The Huskies are sitting dead last in the PAC12, and they come into tonight's game as losers of eight of their last nine overall. They have lost five straight road games, scoring just 61 points per game during that span. The Trojans are 9-2 at home, and they have allowed opponents to average just 66.5 points in those games. These teams have failed to reach the total in six of the last eight head to head meetings, most recently the Huskies winning 72-40 at home earlier this season. The under is 31-12 in the Huskies last 43 road games, and the Huskies have failed to reach the total in five of their last six versus teams with a winning record. The under is 37-18-1 in the Trojans last 56 home games. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-10-20 | Wolves v. Raptors OVER 227 | 126-137 | Win | 100 | 10 h 2 m | Show
This is an 8* play on MIN@TOR to go Over the total. The Minnesota T-Wolves shook things up at the trade deadline, and their first game with a new look roster was dramatic indeed. They scored 142 points in a blowout win over the Clippers Saturday. They attempted 44 three-point shots in the game, making 26 of them. This is a team that needs to score to win games, because they rank 27th in the NBA in opponent's scoring average allowing over 115 points per game. The Raptors scored 122 points in a double digit win at Minnesota earlier this year, and another high score should be expected here tonight. Toronto has won 13 straight overall, and the majority of those games were high scoring. Their last two home games have ended with the exact same score (119-118). The over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings, and the Raptors have gone over in four straight home games. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-10-20 | Florida State v. Duke UNDER 148.5 | 65-70 | Win | 100 | 11 h 23 m | Show
This is an 8* play on FSU@DUKE to go Under the total. Duke is coming off a 98-96 win at Chapel Hill, rallying after trailing by 14 in the final 4:30 to win in overtime. We should expect a much lower score here at home versus Florida State. These teams last played in March of 2019, and Duke won by a score of 73-63. The Seminoles come in averaging under 70 points per game on the road, but they have only allowed 66 points per game on the road. Duke has held opponents to an average of just over 62 points per game at home. The under is 11-5-1 in the Seminoles last 17 games as an underdog, and the Blue Devils have gone under in 10 of their last 11 following a game where they scored 90+ points. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-08-20 | Wake Forest v. Syracuse UNDER 148 | 73-75 | Push | 0 | 15 h 48 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under 148. The Orange beat Wake Forest by a score of 79-54 last March, going under the listed total of 137. The total for tonight's game is more than 10 points higher than it was in the last meeting, and each of the last four head to head meetings saw a total below 140. The under is 4-1 in the Orange last five games as a home favorite, and they have held opponents to just 63 points per game at home. This figures to be an easy win for the Orange, and it seems unlikely that Wake can score enough points to push this total over such a high number. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-08-20 | St. Louis v. Dayton UNDER 138.5 | 65-71 | Win | 100 | 12 h 41 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under 138.5. The Flyers beat Saint Louis earlier this season, hitting a buzzer beater to tie the game at 69-69 to force overtime. Then they hit another buzzer beater for the game winner. This game isn't expected to be as close, with Dayton favored by double digits at home. The Flyers are 12-0 at home, and they have held opponents to just 61 points per game. The total for this game is higher than it was in any of the last nine head to head meetings. The under is 10-4 in the Billikens last 14 games as an underdog. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
02-04-20 | Virginia Tech v. Georgia Tech UNDER 131 | 57-76 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 54 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Under 131. The Yellow Jackets are always a tough out on their home court, and they have been quite competitive all season long. They are coming off an 80-72 loss at Notre Dame, but they have won back to back home games, holding opponents to fewer than 60 points in both those games. Georgia Tech will host Virginia Tech tonight, and the Hokies struggle to score on the road averaging just 61.7 points per game while winning three of six away games. The bookmakers set the total at just 122 when these teams met last year, but they went way over that number. Tonight's total is far higher, and six of the last eight meetings have gone under. The Yellow Jackets leading scorer is also listed as questionable after missing their last game. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
01-31-20 | Grizzlies v. Pelicans UNDER 242 | Top | 111-139 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 9 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on MEM@NO to go Under the total. The first thing that comes to mind when you see the Grizzlies playing the Pelicans might be that a high score is expected. That's fair enough, as both teams rank in the Top 10 in scoring, and the bottom 10 in defense. This hasn't been lost on the bookmakers, who have set the total for this game higher than 240. Neither of these two teams have reached that number since the last time they played each other. The Grizzlies have been a completely different team over their last 13 games, going 11-2 during that span. They are now in a position to make the playoffs, and an increased emphasis on defense should be expected. These two teams have failed to reach the total in eight of the last 10 head to head meetings. The Grizzlies have gone under in seven of their last nine, and they have gone under in five straight versus New Orleans. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

01-18-20 | BYU v. Gonzaga OVER 153.5 | Top | 69-92 | Win | 100 | 24 h 27 m | Show |
This is an 8* play on the BYU@GONZ to go Over the total. These teams played twice last season, and Gonzaga scored over 100 points at home, and more than 90 points on the road. They won and covered in both games, and each of those games went over the total. The Cougars come into tonight's game playing great offensively, they've scored 90+ in back to back wins, and they scored 84 points in a loss to St. Mary's in their last road game. Gonzaga has gone over in six of their last seven home games, and the Cougars have gone over in five straight as a road underdog. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule. |
|||||||
01-11-20 | College of Charleston v. William & Mary OVER 142 | 56-67 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 44 m | Show
This is an 8* play on COFC@CWM to go Over the total. The College of William and Mary are always a strong home team in the CAA, and they are 5-0 at home so far this season. They have averaged over 80 points per game at home. Charleston will know that they need to score to keep up with the Tribe, but the Cougars are 5-0 in the CAA and have averaged 78 points per game so far. The last meeting between these two teams went to overtime, and the Tribe won 86-84. Six of the last seven head to head meetings have gone over the total, and the total for this game is lower than it was in the previous six meetings. The over is 36-16 in Tribe last 52 home games, and they have gone over in eight of their last nine as a home dog. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule. |
|||||||
01-08-20 | Davidson v. Rhode Island UNDER 143 | 58-69 | Win | 100 | 20 h 37 m | Show
This is an 8* play on DAV@URI to go Under the total. Davidson comes into Rhode Island looking for their first conference win, and they can get back to .500 with a win over the Rams. The Wildcats have struggled offensively, averaging less than 70 points per game. They have been solid defensively however, only giving up 66 points per game. The Rams are coming off a 69-61 home loss to Richmond, and leading scorer Fatts Russell scored just three points on 1-of-12 shooting. The under is 6-1-1 in the Wildcats last eight overall, and four of their last five versus Rhode Island have gone under. All five of those games saw fewer than 142 points. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
01-05-20 | Blazers v. Heat UNDER 223 | Top | 111-122 | Loss | -110 | 29 h 34 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on MIA@POR to go Under the total. The Miami Heat own the best home record in the NBA at 16-1. They host Portland on Sunday, and the bookmakers have the total listed sky high at 223. These teams haven't seen a total as high as 220 in any of the previous 10 head to head meetings. Only one of those games saw a total higher than 215. Both these teams come in cold, with Portland coming in as losers of five of six overall. They scored an average of 107 points in those losses, well below their season average of 112+ points per game. The Heat are coming off back to back games scoring fewer than 90 points. They scored 84 in a home win over Toronto, then followed up with just 85 points in a loss at Orlando. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
01-04-20 | Towson v. NC-Wilmington OVER 131 | Top | 67-60 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 56 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on TOW@UNCW to go Over the total. The Seahawks were once the powerhouse in the CAA, but they have slipped all the way to the cellar. They will be a home underdog against Towson on Saturday, and their poor play doesn't inspire me to back them in this role. That being said, they still average over 77 points per game at home, and history suggests they will score their fair share against the Tigers. These two teams have played eight times since 2015, and all of those previous eight meetings saw a total higher than 140. Towson gave up 81 points in a loss to Charleston in their last game, and the over is 5-1 in the Tigers last six games following an ATS loss. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
01-04-20 | Raptors v. Nets UNDER 217.5 | Top | 121-102 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 24 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on TOR@BKN to go Under the total. The Raptors have been hit hard by injuries, playing without Marc Gasol, Norm Powell and leading scorer Pascal Siakam. They lost 84-76 at Miami in their last game, shooting just over 30 percent from the field. Siakam hasn't played since December 19th, and the Raptors have scored an average of 106.5 points in eight games since (well below their season average). They have also stepped up on defense during that span, and they have held opponents under 100 points in four straight games. The under is 5-1-1 in the Raptors last seven road games, and they have failed to reach the total in four of their last five in Brooklyn. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
01-01-20 | Wofford v. East Tennessee State OVER 142 | 48-49 | Loss | -105 | 14 h 6 m | Show
This is an 8* play on WOF@ETSU to go Over the total. The Eastern Tennessee State Buccaneers will host conference rivals Wofford on New Years Day, and history tells us we can expect a high score. These teams have gone over the total in six of the last seven meetings, and the under is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings. They haven't just gone over the total, they have gone way over. They have scored 150 points or more in five of the last eight head to head meetings. The over is 47-19-2 in Buccaneers last 68 home games, and the Buccaneers have averaged over 85 points per game at home. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-31-19 | Warriors v. Spurs OVER 220 | 113-117 | Win | 100 | 24 h 8 m | Show
This is an 8* play on GS@SA to go Over the total. The Spurs have turned things around, winning five of their last seven home games. San Antonio is one of the highest scoring teams in the NBA, averaging over 113 points per game. They would have a lot better record if they weren't allowing opponents to average over 115 points per game. The Warriors had won four straight, but then lost 141-121 at home to Dallas on Sunday. The over is 12-3 in the Spurs last 15 games as a home favorite, and they have gone over in four straight at home. The Spurs hit a season high 18 three-point shots in a win over Detroit on Saturday. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-30-19 | Seton Hall v. DePaul UNDER 139.5 | 74-66 | Loss | -115 | 20 h 57 m | Show
This is an 8* play on HALL@DEPAUL to go Under the total. I bet the under in Seton Hall's recent win over Maryland, and here is what I said prior to that game. "The Seton Hall Pirates have lost back to back games, but they have even bigger problems. Leading scorer Myles Powell suffered a concussion, and he won't play tonight at home versus Maryland. Powell is averaging 21.2 points per game this season, one of just two players averaging in double figures. The other is junior forward Sandro Mamukelashvili, who is averaging just 10.9 points per game. Neither of the two will be available for tonight's game, and perhaps for the remainder of 2019. The Pirates struggled without them, scoring just 48 points in a loss to Rutgers." The Pirates went on to beat Prairie Valley by a score of 75-55 after beating Maryland 52-48. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

12-23-19 | Nuggets v. Suns OVER 216 | 113-111 | Win | 100 | 11 h 26 m | Show
This is an 8* play on DEN@PHX to go Over the total. The Nuggets come into Phoenix as winners of six straight, and they have scored an average of more than 114 points per game during that span. The Nuggets are the best defensive team in the NBA, but in this day and age it still doesn't mean they can hold opponents to an average of less than 100 points per game. They allow an average of roughly 102 points per game, and the Suns are far from an average opponent. Phoenix averages over 114 points per game, but they allow opponents to average even more than that. The over is 9-0 in the Suns last nine games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points, and they have gone over in 11 of their last 14 home games. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
12-22-19 | Nuggets v. Lakers OVER 205.5 | 128-104 | Win | 100 | 12 h 16 m | Show
This is an 8* play on DEN@LAL to go Over the total. The Nuggets are the best defensive team in the NBA, but in this day and age it still doesn't mean they can hold opponents to an average of less than 100 points per game. They allow an average of roughly 102 points per game, and the Lakers are far from an average opponent. Denver has won five straight, and all five of those games saw 209+ total points. We can see that these two teams have failed to go over the total in five straight meetings, but in four of those five games they combined to score 209+ points. Looks like this number should be a few points higher. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

12-22-19 | Prairie View A&M v. Seton Hall UNDER 141 | 55-75 | Win | 100 | 18 h 27 m | Show
This is an 8* play on PVAM@HALL to go Under the total. Here is what I said prior the Pirates 52-48 win over Maryland: "The Seton Hall Pirates have lost back to back games, but they have even bigger problems. The Pirates struggled without them, scoring just 48 points in a loss to Rutgers. The under is 8-1 in the Pirates last nine games following an ATS loss, and they have failed to reach the total in five of their last six overall. You really have to wonder where the points are going to come from here against a Top 10 ranked Maryland team." It looks like they have stepped up their defense, and we should expect that trend to continue here on Sunday. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

12-19-19 | Maryland v. Seton Hall UNDER 141 | 48-52 | Win | 100 | 9 h 35 m | Show
This is an 8* play on MD@HALL to go Under the total. The Seton Hall Pirates have lost back to back games, but they have even bigger problems. Neither of the two will be available for tonight's game, and perhaps for the remainder of 2019. 12-16-19 | Mercer v. NC-Wilmington OVER 144 | 72-63 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 53 m | Show
This is a 5* play on MER@UNCW to go Over the total. The Seahawks come into tonight's home game versus Mercer as losers of three straight, and they gave up an average of 76 points per game during that span. They might have more success against a Mercer team that has lost three of four on the road. Mercer is allowing opponents to average 77 points per game this season. The over is 7-2 in the Bears last nine road games versus a team with a winning home record. The over is 10-3 in the Seahawks last 13 home games. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

This is an 8* play on BSU@TULSA to go Over the total. The Boise State Broncos come into Tulsa as winners of four of their last five. They have scored an average of more than 77 points per game during that span. The Broncos have given up their fair share of points as well, with opponents averaging almost 70 points per game in their last five overall. Tonight's total of 131 will be the lowest that the Broncos have seen all year, and they have gone over in four straight road games. The Hurricanes are coming off a home loss to Arkansas State, and the over is 15-7-1 in their last 23 games following a ATS loss. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

12-04-19 | Lakers v. Jazz UNDER 210 | 121-96 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 44 m | Show
This is an 8* play on LAL@UTAH to go Under the total. The Lakers are coming off a 105-96 win over the Nuggets last night, winning for the 11th time in their last 12 games. The Lakers are ranked as one of the top teams in the NBA in scoring defense, allowing an average of 103 points per game so far this season. They might have a tough time on the road on back to back nights against the Utah Jazz, who are another one of the league's top defensive teams. The Lakers have gone under in six straight, and the under is 5-1 in their last six games in Utah. The Jazz are coming off a 103-94 loss at Philly, and the under is 9-2 in their last 11 games following a straight up loss. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

This is an 8* play on TTU@DePaul to go Over the total. The Red Raiders are coming off back to back road losses, and they face a 8-0 DePaul team in Chicago tonight. DePaul won the last meeting back in 2011, and the final score was 76-70. That fell short of the listed total of 150, but tonight's total is 10 points lower. Both these teams are scoring their fair share of points, and shooting the ball relatively well. The point spread suggests this game is expected to be close, so we might expect a wild finish. DePaul has scored 70+ points in all eight of it's games so far, and that includes road wins over Minnesota and Boston College. I like both teams to get 70+ tonight. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

12-02-19 | Bulls v. Kings UNDER 211 | 113-106 | Loss | -101 | 14 h 17 m | Show
This is an 8* play on CHI@SAC to go Under the total.
The Kings out-scored the Denver Nuggets 60-40 after halftime on Saturday, winning in overtime by a score of 100-97. They look to bring that momentum into tonight's home game against the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls are 3-7 on the road, and they have failed to cover in four straight against the Kings. The Bulls are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in Sacramento. The Kings are 5-0 ATS in their last five home games. The Kings rank 28th in the NBA in scoring, while the Bulls rank 25th. Chicago has failed to score 100 points in two of their last three overall, and they face a Kings defense that is playing fantastic defense of late. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-30-19 | Tulsa v. Vanderbilt OVER 137.5 | Top | 67-58 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 59 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on TULSA@VAN to go Over the total. The Vanderbilt Comodores come into tonight's home game against Tulsa averaging over 85 points per game on better than 51 percent shooting. They have gone over the total in all six games so far this season, and tonight's total seems a little low (on the wrong side of 140). Vandy isn't quite as impressive on defense, allowing opponents to average over 70 points per game. The Comodores have gone over in nine straight non-conference games, and the over is 5-0 in their last five home games. Tulsa has scored 72 or more in five of their six games so far. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-30-19 | San Francisco v. Hawaii OVER 147 | 75-85 | Win | 100 | 13 h 3 m | Show
This is an 8* play on SF@HAW to go Over the total. The San Francisco Dons are off to an impressive start to the season, winning seven straight games. Their 7-0 start has been helped by their potent offense, coming into Friday's game in Hawaii averaging over 86 points per game on better than 47 percent of shooting. The result has been a streak of overs in non conference games, and the Don's have now gone over in 8-STRAIGHT outside the WCC. They have also gone over the total in four straight versus Hawaii, and the over is 9-1-1 in Hawaii's last 11 versus teams from the WCC. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-27-19 | Nets v. Celtics UNDER 225.5 | 110-121 | Loss | -104 | 20 h 27 m | Show
This is a 10* play on BKN@BOS to go Under the total.
I had the under in the Celtics last game, and here is what I said prior to their 103-102 win over Sacramento: "The Celtics and the Kings are two teams that have been hit hard by injuries, and we should expect them to play a low scoring game here in Boston tonight. The Celtics have failed to reach the total in five straight, holding opponents to fewer than 98 points per game during that span. They have only won two of their last five games though, failing to average 100 points per game during that span. They will be playing a rematch in a home and home versus the Kings, after losing 100-99 in Sacramento last week. These two teams have gone under in five of the last seven head to head meetings, and the under is 14-5 in the last 19 meetings in Boston." Kemba might return tonight, but the number is a whopping 20 points higher than the closing total for the Sacramento game. I'll fade this inflated total. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-27-19 | St. Louis v. Boston College UNDER 132 | 64-54 | Win | 103 | 4 h 18 m | Show
This is a 5* play on SLU@BC to go UNDER the total. Both the Saint Louis Bilikens and the Boston College Eagles are teams that focus on playing strong defense. That has been the theme in recent head to head meetings, failing to score a combined 115 points in any of the last three meetings. Saint Louis has failed to reach the total in nine of their last 13 versus ACC teams, and they have gone under in five straight road games. The under is 8-3 in the Eagles last 11 home games. The Eagles have failed to reach the total in five of their last six versus teams from the A-10. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-23-19 | Raptors v. Hawks OVER 223.5 | 119-116 | Win | 100 | 13 h 55 m | Show
This is an 8* play on TOR@ATL to go Over the total. The Atlanta Hawks have gone over (223.5) in eight straight games overall, and they allowed 76 points in the first half of a 128-103 loss at Detroit in their last game. The Raptors come into tonight's game as winners of six of their last eight overall, and they will be a seven point favorite here tonight. Toronto has scored an average of 120 points in thier last six wins. The over is 6-0 in the Hawks last six games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points. I think Toronto will be content to play a wide open game, as long as they know they will get the better of it. We should see plenty of scoring here. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |

11-22-19 | Rockets v. Clippers UNDER 227 | 119-122 | Loss | -109 | 14 h 6 m | Show
This is an 8* play on HOU@LAC to go Under the total. The Rockets are coming off a 105-95 loss at Denver, and they have another tough game tonight in LA. They beat the Clippers 102-93 at home just last week, and LA will be looking for revenge. The Clippers rank among the top defensive teams in the NBA, while Houston has allowed opponents to average over 113 points per game (20th in the NBA). The Rockets defense has been much better lately though, allowing just over 103 points per game in their last nine overall. The lowest score during that span was their game against the Clippers. LA has gone under in eight of their last 10 home games and nine of their last 13 overall. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-18-19 | Wolves v. Jazz UNDER 219.5 | 112-102 | Win | 100 | 12 h 53 m | Show
This is an 8* play on MIN@UTAH to go Under the total. The Jazz rank 1st overall in the NBA in opponent's scoring average, allowing just over 100 points per game. They have been even better at home, holding the Clippers, Bucks, Kings and Thunder to 100 points or less. Utah needs to play well defensively, because the Jazz only average 104.7 points per game (26th overall). The under is 8-1 in the Timberwolves last nine road games versus a team with a winning home record. The Jazz have failed to reach the total in 12 of their last 15 overall, and the under is 6-2 in their last eight home games. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-15-19 | Jazz v. Grizzlies OVER 214.5 | 106-107 | Loss | -112 | 9 h 4 m | Show
This is an 8* play on UTAH@MEM to go Over the total. The Jazz are the top defensive team in the NBA, allowing opponents to average just 99.5 points per game this season. They have not been as sharp on the road, allowing over 100 points in each of their last three road games. The Grizzlies are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA, allowing over 118 points per game. They come into tonight's game as a home underdog looking for a third straight win. The over is 7-3 in Grizzlies last 10 home games, and I expect another high scoring game here tonight. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-14-19 | Hawks v. Suns OVER 227 | Top | 112-128 | Win | 100 | 13 h 58 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on ATL@PHX to go Over the total. The Atlanta Hawks are feeling good about themselves coming into tonight's game at Phoenix, coming off a 125-121 win over the Nuggets in Denver. Tre Young scored 42 points on 13-of-21 shooting in the victory. It was however the third consecutive game that the Hawks allowed their opponent to score 120+ points. Tonight they face a Suns team that ranks among the top teams in the league in scoring, but the Suns are also allowing opponents to average more than 110 points per game this season. The history tells us that these two teams have gone under in five straight meetings, and nine of the last 10 meetings. That history might be keeping tonight's number artificially low, as the last two time these two teams played they score at least 230 combined points, but failed to reach a much higher total. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-14-19 | Penn State v. Georgetown OVER 148.5 | 81-66 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 22 m | Show
This is an 8* play on PSU@GTWN to go Over the total. Georgetown is 2-0, and they come into tonight's home games Penn State averaging 85 points per game on 48.8 percent shooting. The Nittany Lions have scored their fair share as well, averaging 87.5 points on 48 percent shooting. Both teams are hitting better than 37 percent from beyond the arc, and that should lead to a high scorer here tonight. The Hoyas have seen the total at 150 or higher in each of their last nine games, and the over is 20-6 in the Hoyas last 26 games following an ATS loss. Their last game was an 88-79 win over Central Arkansas as a 22-point favorite. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-12-19 | Memphis v. Oregon OVER 145 | 74-82 | Win | 100 | 11 h 30 m | Show
This is an 8* play on ORE@MEM to go Over the total. The Ducks are coming off a 106-75 win over Boise State, and they shot 70% from the field in that victory. The Tigers are coming off a pair of wins, scoring 90+ points in both games. The Ducks have scored an average of 88.5 points per game in their last five overall, while the Tigers have scored an average of 94.5 points per game during that span. I expect both these teams to score their fair share in a neutral site game this early in the season. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule |
|||||||
11-06-19 | 76ers v. Jazz UNDER 211.5 | 104-106 | Win | 100 | 10 h 21 m | Show
This is a 10* play on PHI@UTAH to go Under the total. The Sixers are coming off their first loss of the season, and they might have trouble scoring here in Utah tonight. The Jazz are undefeated at home this season, and they rank first overall in the NBA in opponent's scoring average. They have allowed just 95.6 points per game this season, and they have been even tougher at home. Opponents have averaged just 90.6 points in Utah. The under is 5-0 in Utah's last five home games, and the under is 5-0 the Jazz last five games coming off a loss. These two teams have gone under in five straight meetings in Salt Lake City. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

05-12-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets UNDER 213.5 | 100-96 | Win | 100 | 6 h 44 m | Show
This is a 10* play on POR@DEN to go Under. Winning a Game 7 on the road isn't easy, and for Portland they will be playing at altitude in Denver where the Nuggets owned the best home record in the NBA this season. Denver has won just two of their three home games in this series, suffering a let down in Game 2. They won by a whopping 26 points (124-98) in the last game at the Pepsi Center. The Trail Blazers are 2-5-1 ATS in the last eight meetings in Denver, and they are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 Conference Semifinals games. The Nuggets were up by 14 points at halftime in Game 7 versus the Spurs, and they held San Antonio to just 34 first half points. Both teams will likely be fighting extra hard on defense tonight. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

05-06-19 | Warriors v. Rockets UNDER 220.5 | Top | 108-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 43 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on GSW@HOU to go Under the total. I had the under in Game 3, and after a low scoring first half it was bitter disappointment as they piled on the points in the third quarter and then eventually went to overtime. I don't think the Warriors have any interest in allowing the Rockets to tie this series, and they should step up the defensive intensity in the first half of Game 4. Here is what I said prior to Game 3: "Game 1 of this series was a close, low scoring battle with the Warriors winning 104-100. Game 2 was shaping up to be a similar score through three quarters, before an offensive explosion of 67 points in the fourth quarter. The Rockets are now on the ropes, and Game 3 might as well be an elimination game. James Harden is banged up, taking a shot to the face in Game 2 that has left him with vision problems. Steph Curry dislocated a finger in the last game, and we can expect more bumps and bruises as this series goes on. These two teams have failed to reach the total in nine of the last 11 meetings, and the under is 20-7 in the last 27 meetings in Houston. The Rockets have failed to reach the total in seven straight when coming off an ATS loss." Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

05-04-19 | Warriors v. Rockets UNDER 220 | Top | 121-126 | Loss | -110 | 77 h 1 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on GSW@HOU to go Under the total. Game 1 of this series was a close, low scoring battle with the Warriors winning 104-100. The Rockets have failed to reach the total in seven straight when coming off an ATS loss. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

05-03-19 | Bucks v. Celtics UNDER 220 | 123-116 | Loss | -105 | 43 h 59 m | Show
This is an 8* play on MIL@BOS to go Under the total. I bet on the Celtics to win this series, so I am happy with Boston coming home with a split. While the Bucks ran away with Game 2, it was actually a close game early. Boston had a five point lead after the first quarter, and they trailed by just four points at halftime. Expect Boston to bounce back, they have covered the spread in six of their last seven home games versus Milwaukee. The last two times Milwaukee played in a playoff game in Boston, they failed to score 100 points in each of those games. Here is what I said before Game 1: "So the Bucks were the better team in the regular season, and because of that they are a significant favorite in this second round series versus Boston. Granted they have home court advantage, so laying a few points would make plenty of sense. Giving Boston 8+ points though seems absolutely illogical to me. The last time these teams played each other, Boston won by a score of 117-113. The last time Boston played at Milwaukee they lost by a score of 98-97. Kyrie Irving is a proven playoff performer with a championship ring, and this Celtics team has proven itself in the post-season. Milwaukee is coming off a four game sweep of Detroit, a subpar team who's best player (Blake Griffin) was injured. I don't think that helps them prepare for the challenge they will face here versus the Celtics." Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |

05-01-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets UNDER 220 | Top | 97-90 | Win | 100 | 6 h 22 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on POR@DEN to go Under the total. The Nuggets won Game 1 in a high scoring affair, with both teams shooting over 50 percent from the field. I expect them to see plenty of push back from the Blazers in Game 2, and I expect those numbers to go down. In four home games against the Spurs, Denver allowed an average of 95 points per game. The under is 13-4 in Nuggets last 17 home games, and they are 6-0 ATS in their last six Conference Semifinals games. We've seen a lot of talk about the officiating in these playoffs, but the consensus from the league seems to be to let them play. I think the total for tonight's game appears to be a little inflated, and I'll fade the big number. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
