I am taking the Phillies here on the RL against the Mets. The Phillies had no problem seeing the ball yesterday with 13 hits and 9 runs along with 3 HRs in the process and have now won their 7th of the L10 games. The Mets are having the Fall Blues now with their 4th straight loss and 7th loss in their L10 games, holding their lead in the Wild Card to just 2 games. Clay Holmes is taking the mound for the Mets who has not been doing them any favors as they have now lost back to back with him starting and he has a 4.38 ERA over the last month. His teams have not done well in his career on the road against teams with a winning record going 1-4 to the Run Line and each of his L2 losses have come by 2 or more. Christopher Sanchez takes the mound for Philly who has been dominant in home games with a 2.28 ERA and is out for revenge, after taking a loss in Citi Field earlier this summer. Christopher Sanchez's teams are 17-13 to the run line as a home favorite of -150 or more in his career and 5-1 to the run line at home in the second half of this season. I am laying the run line with the Jays at home here against the Twins. The Twins have seemed like they packed the bags for the season, with three straight losses and getting out scored 25-7. This isn't just a new trend as Minnesota is just 2-9 their L11 games. The Jays are starting Chris Bassitt who has been phenomenal inside of Toronto with a perfect 8-0 record and 2.73 ERA on the season. Bailey Ober is going the other way who may have shown some life in his last few starts, but still holds a 5.89 ERA in road games and they have lost 11 straight under Ober starting, with 7 of those by 2 or more. Toronto is crushing opponents at home with a .451 SLG% and are 24-11 against the RL in home night games this season. Lay the RL with TORONTO here. -Joey Tron

I am laying the RL here with the Brewers at home against the SF Giants. Milwaukee snapped their small losing skid with a commanding 4-1 over the Cubs yesterday and I look for them to build on this at home. Jose Quintana takes the hill for the Brewers who as they are 3-1 in his L4 starts and he has allowed 2 or less runs in 4 of his L5 outings. Quintana holds a 2.86 ERA over the last month and should have a strong showing today. Carson Whisenhunt is going the other way for San Fran who has limited starts, (just 3) but he hasn't passed 5 IP in any of those starts. He has a 6.09 ERA over those 3 starts and allowed 5 total HRs in that span. Milwaukee is strong against LHP going 25-14 against the RL and are hitting a .429 SLG% and have a .774 OPS against them. I am taking the Phillies on the RL here against the Mariners. The Mariners have shown yet again they cannot compete in Inter League play getting out scored 23-11 in their last 3 games and are just 1-5 their L6. The Phillies are going with Christopher Sanchez who has been in great form with a 1.88 ERA since June and is a perfect 5-0 at home this season with a 2.33 ERA. Bryce Miller is going the other way for Seattle who is making his first start in over 2 months and will be up against these strong Philly bats, hitting a .453 SLG% in home games this season. Miller struggled even prior to his injury allowing 4 or more runs in 3 of his L4 starts and has struggled in IL Games this season when healthy, with a 5.73 ERA. Play the PHILLIES RL here. -Joey Tron

I am taking the Brewers on the RL here against the Reds. Yesterday was a little shaky for Milwaukee, however they picked ip the win. Zack Littell takes the hill for the Reds today who has been a great addition for them however every start has been on the road thus far. The last time he pitched in the Reds stadium, they tagged him for 10 hits and 5 ERs - and this was just 4 starts ago. Quinn Priester takes the mound for the Brewers who has been incredible with Milwaukee going 5-0 his L5 starts and prior to last start, he allowed less than 2 runs in 4 straight. The Brewers are crushing the ball with a .672 SLG% over the last week and have a .772 OPS in div games. Lay the RL with the BREWERS here. -Joey Tron

I am taking the Royals on the RL here at home against the White Sox. These are crucial games that KC must win in order to make a push for the wild card and the White Sox are in another slump. Chi Sox are just 2-8 their L10 and just 18-41 in all road games this year. Aaron Civale takes the mound for them who has been getting lit up in division games with a 4.91 ERA and allowed 9 ER in just 4 IP his last time out. Noah Cameron is going to the other way for KC who has been a strong start for them with a 2.52 ERA in division games and the Royals are 5-1 in his L6 starts, covering the RL in all wins but one. The Royals are hitting with a .786 OPS over the last week and should tag Civale and the White Sox BP, who has a 5.40 ERA in road div games. Play the ROYALS RL here. -Joey Tron

I am laying the RL with the Brewers here at home against the Pirates. The Brewers are unstoppable right now and this is another favorable pitching matchup that tilts in their favor. Mitch Keller takes the hill for the Pirates who has been allowing a lot of sharp contact as of late. The Pirates might have won 4 in a row with him starting however he has allowed 5 or more hits in all those games and 4 total HRs. The Brewers are crushing the ball with a .495 SLG% and .843 OPS over the last week and can do damage here. Milwaukee is sending Brandon Woodruff to the hill who has been incredible at home with the Brewers winning all 3 home games and he has allowed 2 runs in 3 straight games. He has a 1.22 xERA over the last month and will be strong against this weak Pirates lineup who is hitting just .232 over the last week. Lay the RL with the BREWERS here. -Joey Tron

I am laying the run line here with the Brewers against the Braves. Milwaukee is playing out of this world right now and have one of their strongest pitchers in Quinn Priester on the hill. The Brewers have won each of his last 8 appearances and he is 3-0 overall his L3 stars allowing 2 or less runs in each of those starts. He holds a 3.07 ERA over the last month and possesses a 3.47 ERA on the road. Erick Fedde is going the other way for Atlanta who has been getting rocked and that should not change today. He is 0-5 in his L6 starts with the Braves losing all 6 of those games and he allowed 4 or more runs in 4 of those 6 starts. He has an xERA of 5.60 in home games and the Brewers have an MLB's best .847 OPS over the L15 days. Play the BREWERS on the RUN LINE here. -Joey Tron

I am laying the Run Line here with the Yankees at home against the Guardians. Tanner Bibee takes the hill for the Guardians who has been very inconsistent and is pitching against a hot hitting Yankees offense. Bibee has allowed 8 ERs his L3 starts and holds a 5.13 ERA on the season suggesting a lot more runs are coming. Carlos Rodon has been in great form and allowed just 1 ER in his L3 combined starts overall and just 1 ER his L3 combined starts inside of Yankees Stadium. I am taking the Reds on the RL here against the Pirates at this nice price. The Pirates have been bad news all season and they have taken some of their worse losses this season, at the hands of their division opponents. Mitch Keller is on the hill for the Pirates who has allowed a lot of sharp contact in his recent outings with 20 hits and 9 ERs across his L3 starts. Nick Lodolo is on the hill for the Reds who has performed far better on the road than at home, allowing just 2 ERs and 7 hits across 13 IP in his last 2 road starts. The Reds are 8-3 on the RL against division opponents this season and 10-5 against the RL in road night games while the Pirates are 3-9 against the RL in division games and 9-13 against the RL in all home games. I am taking the Giants here on the Run Line against the Mariners. The big key for me here is the offensive production and that weights significantly with SF. The Giants have a +14 run differential and as a team, have 16 RBI’s in Inter League play thus far. The Mariners offense is sluggish scoring just 18 runs and have a -11 differential. The Giants can tag Luis Castillo who is making his long awaited return to the MLB after a short stint over seas in Japan. Justin Verlander has performed well against the Mariners over the last 2 seasons and should make some noise in his Giants home debut. Take the Giants on the run line. -Joey Tron

I like the Yankees in this spot again against the Guardians. The Yankees are sending Gerrit Cole to the hill who had a great outing last time out going 7 IP & allowing just 1 ER. He is strongest at Yankee Stadium where he had a 2.88 ERA and is 4-1 his L6 against Cleveland. Tanner Bibee is pitching for Cleveland and he has not gone more than 4 IP yet this post season and that’s going to hurt them as their BP has been subpar at most. I like the Yankees to cover this RL against the Guardians. The Yankees are well rested and I trust they’re pitching a lot more than the Guardians who used their BP significantly against DET. Carlos Rodon is strongest at home with a 3.11 ERA and has allowed no more than 3 ERs in his 5 previous starts before his rocky game against KC. Alex Cobb is making just his 5th start of the season today and was tagged for 2 runs on 3 hits in his post season debut. Detroit is going with Tyler Holton who hasn’t gone more than 3 IP this season. The Astros had 15 LOB yesterday and today they will drive them in. Jake Wofford gets the start for Pittsburgh and he’s 0-4 his L4 big league starts with a 9.19 ERA. The Pirates slow offense won’t be able to keep pace if Wofford has one bad inning.
