When are the Cards going to get the respect they have earned? Fine by me that they have not with the Super Bowl 43 line. While Pitt’s defense has been top notch all season, its offense has struggled throughout and that is why we cannot trust the Steelers laying this many points. The Cards will be able to move the football on Pittsburgh. Arizona is just that good offensively. Pitt is going to have to come up with several turnovers to have a chance in this one and I can’t see Warner getting flustered enough to cough it up enough times to really hurt the Cards. He was brilliant against the Eagles blitzing defense, which held Pitt to only 6 points this season. Warner has the experience, the confidence, and the right cast of playmakers (Boldin, Fitzgerald, Breaston) to make the Steelers pay for Blitzing. Zona has been a dog in all 3 playoff games (opened as dog in Wild Card round), and it has won all 3 SU. There’s no way the Cards are going to get star struck all of a sudden here. Also, coach Whisenhunt has quite the grudge against his former team and knows the personnel and strategies of the Steelers as well as anyone outside that organization. Whisenhunt helped the Cards beat Pitt last year when they had do business doing so and now he will lead them over his former team again. Playing against the best has not phased the Cards as they are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 versus excellent defensive teams – allowing <=260 yards/game. Take the points!
