12-12-18 | Blazers +3 v. Grizzlies | Top | 83-92 | Loss | -104 | 9 h 10 m | Show |
Portland at Memphis 8:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Grizzlies- A pair of clubs off losses with Portland dropping their last two and six straight on the road (0-6 ATS) while Memphis stumbled at Denver Monday night. The Grizzlies after a quick start have lost six of nine while the Blazers have lost seven of their last 10. Memphis will have a hampered Mike Conley who injured his hamstring against the Nuggets is expected to play but his effectiveness is to be questioned. The Memphis offense has slowed down a bit scoring less than 100 points in five of their last six games. Take PORTLAND! |
12-11-18 | Colorado v. New Mexico +5 | Top | 78-75 | Win | 100 | 9 h 27 m | Show |
Colorado at New Mexico 9:00 ET Lobos (+) over Buffaloes- The trends the surround this contest is urging this to be a 'no-play' and you will see what I mean as the Lobos are 0-7-1 ATS in their last eight against the Pac-12 and Colorado is 19-41-1 ATS in their last 61 games on the road. The Buffaloes are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in their last five and while New Mexico has dropped their last two getting blown out by St. Mary's and New Mexico State going 1-4 ATS in their last five. The Buffs won (-7.5) 75-57 as hosts last year and I expect the most solid reason I can give is that turn-about-is-fair-pay. Nah, Lobos light-up 3-pointers tonight...take NEW MEXICO! |
12-11-18 | Blazers v. Rockets -6.5 | Top | 103-111 | Win | 100 | 9 h 50 m | Show |
Portland at Houston 8:00 ET Rockets (+) over Trailblazers- The Houston Rockets have lost seven of their last nine games and have 14 losses this season which is just three shy of all the losses they accumulated last season. The issue with the Rockets is no longer the presence of Carmelo Anthony but their lack of defense (29th) and meager contribution by the bench which is dead last (28.2) in NBA scoring. Portland opened the year with a 104-85 in a game they never trailed. Portland has won their last two after losing six of their previous seven and but have lost seven of the last nine meetings including the win this season. The Trailblazers have struggled on the road trail losing their last four and are just 4-8 ATS allowing 115.2 points per contest. It is time for the Rockets to take off and blast Portland here. Take HOUSTON! |
12-10-18 | Vikings +3 v. Seahawks | Top | 7-21 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 3 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' MNF 'Highest-Rated' Winner Minnesota at Seattle 8:15 ET Vikings (+) over Seahawks- A month ago the Seahawks appeared 'dead in the water' as they were under .500 at 4-5, but, they have managed to win their last three games to put themselves back in the playoff hunt. Even with their loss last night the Rams have the division clinched and Seattle is scraping for a Wild Card spot. At 6-5 Minnesota has a half-game lead over Philadelphia, Washington and Carolina and have alternated wins and losses the last five games. The Vikings have struggled against 'better' competition as they are 1-7 ATS in their last eight against teams with winning records. Seattle has won the last four meetings but Russell Wilson is trowing for a career low 226 yards a game. Take MINNESOTA! |
12-10-18 | Kings v. Bulls +3 | Top | 108-89 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 39 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NBA Vegas Hotline Best Bet Sacramento at Chicago 8:00 ET Bulls (+) over Kings- This 'price' seems a bit too inviting as the Kings enter the Windy City favored by less than a field goal against a team that has on only six of 27 games and are off their worst loss in franchise history 133-77 to Boston. Sacramento has made huge strides this season with the addition of Marvin Bagley III to work with center Willie Cauley-Stein and shooting guard Buddy Hield. The Kings who are playing their fourth straight road game are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 meetings at Chicago. But, the Bulls had a closed door players only meetings after they were booed off the floor in during their 56 point loss. Bulls gore the Kings here. Take CHICAGO! |
12-09-18 | Rams v. Bears +3 | Top | 6-15 | Win | 100 | 33 h 40 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Games of Year (8-1 89%) L.A. Rams at Chicago 8:20 ET Bears (+) over Rams- A month ago the Rams were dropped for the ranks of the unbeaten by New Orleans and everybody decided that the Saints were the best team in the NFC. Well, three wins latter and Los Angeles is atop the NFC and has clinched the NFC West Division crown for the second straight year. Last week Chicago mounted a second half comeback against in New York but fell in overtime 30-27 to the Giants with Chase Daniels at the helm ending a five-game win streak. It appears Mitch Trubisky will be back running the Bears offense and will be opposed by Jared Goff. With the Rams having already clinched I believe that that believe they will be totally focused but I think not. Important game of Chicago who are 6-2 ATS against the rams in the last eight meetings and they are 6-0-1 ATS at home against a team with a winning record while LA is 0-3-1 ATS against teams with winning records. Take CHICAGO! |
12-09-18 | Tennessee +3.5 v. Gonzaga | Top | 76-73 | Win | 100 | 5 h 9 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NCAA Megabucks Winner Tennessee vs. Gonzaga 3:00 ET Volunteers (+) over Bulldogs- Top ranked and undefeated Gonzaga seeks their tenth straight win to open the season are a fine 7-2 ATS. At 6-1 Tennessee is ranked No. 7 and return 11 of 13 players and have already had one big game experience when they surrendered a nine-point second half lead to Kansas. This game is at a neutral site in Phoenix and the Volunteers are 1-1 on neutral sites while Gonzaga is 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS. Tennessee is 4-4 straight-up when playing the No. 1 ranked team in the national. Take TENNESSEE! |
12-09-18 | Giants v. Redskins +3 | Top | 40-16 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 22 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NFC Megabucks Winner New York Giants at Washington 1:00 ET Redskins (+) over Giants- A few short weeks ago the Redskins had a two-game lead and were running away with the NFC East and now after three straight losses and a plethora of injuries that are and underdog at home to a 4-8 New York Giants team. For Washington the answer is Mark Sanchez who will make his first start since 2015 and the third different quarterback to start for the Redskins in the past four weeks. New York has won 3-of-4 and is off a home overtime win over Chicago. I expect a heavy dose of Adrian Peterson to protect Sanchez's limited knowledge of the offense. This may not be so bad with the porous Giants defensive line and their strong defense putting pressure on Eli Manning how will get nervous feet. The underdog is 11-5 n the last 16 meetings and now without Beckham to Giants drop another notch. Take WASHINGTON! |
12-08-18 | Wolves +2.5 v. Blazers | Top | 105-113 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 51 m | Show |
Minnesota at Portland 10:00 ET Timberwolves (+) over Trailblazers- Portland's quick start has all but been wiped out as they lost six of seven before trouncing the Suns 108-86 as a 12.5-point favorite at the Moda Center. Minnesota on the other hand after slow start and the trade of Jimmy Butler has changed their fortunes as they have won their last two and six of seven. These two have played twice already each holding serve on their home court with the Blazers winning by 30-points 111-81 as a 5.5-point favorite on Nov. 4. Tonight, they opened -1.5 and that is a huge difference. Consider this Minnesota is 6-19-1 ATS in the last 26 meetings in Portland and are 13-37-1 ATS in the last 51 meetings. Yet, tonight, they opened at 1.5-points. The Trailblazers have been in a funk and beating Phoenix at home is hardly anything that will fix these problems. This one 'stinks'...take TIMBERWOLVES! |
12-08-18 | Capitals v. Blue Jackets -130 | Top | 4-0 | Loss | -130 | 7 h 57 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NHL 'Highest-Rated' Megabucks Washington at Columbus 7:00 ET Blue Jackets over Capitals- I guess like the Eagles in the NFL the Capitals at times play like they have a Stanley Cup hangover. Tonight they are an underdog to a feisty Blue Jackets clubs that is 5-1 in the last six meetings and with the road team being 6-1 in the last seven meetings it seems odd that Columbus is such a strong favorite. Number don't lie although they can be very deceiving...take BLUE JACKETS! |
12-08-18 | Navy +7 v. Army | Top | 10-17 | Push | 0 | 47 h 1 m | Show |
Navy vs. Army 3:00 ET Midshipman (+) over Cadets- As an 'Army' man (drafted) I always felt a pang every year as the Navy with superior talent just ran roughshod over the Cadets time and again winning 14 straight in the series and many of them not even close. This time around the roles are reversed as it is the Army that is 9-2 and riding a seven game win streak while the Navy is 3-9 and off a loss to Tulane and 8-of-9. It has been eons since The Army has been this kind of favorite in this game. The Knights are favored by a solid touchdown and ranked No. 25 with a ground attack that produces over 300 yards per game, only Georgia Tech averaged more. The Navy has lost 12 straight away from home but are No. 3 nationally in rushing at 288.5 yards a game. The Midshipman's defense has been questioned but and rightfully so surrendering 35 points per games but, their level of competition is stronger then the Army's Ivy league fare. Although, this season the Knights defeated both mutual opponents while Navy lost to both Hawaii and Air Force. Still, this is ARMY/NAVY...take a hungry dog! Take NAVY! |
12-08-18 | Louisville v. Indiana -4.5 | Top | 67-68 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 28 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NCAA Megabucks Winner Louisville at Indiana 2:30 ET Hoosiers (-) Cardinals- Louisville has won their last three and are 4-0 ATS in their last four as they are considered the visitor although this game is at Madison Square Garden and Indiana is considered the home team. The Hoosiers have won four of their last five including their last two but had lost five straight ATS until their 64-62 win as a 3-point dog at Penn State. That makes a pair of two-point wins back-to-back and that strengthens character. The Cardinals have won three straight after a pair of losses to Tennessee and Marquette the last one a 86-41 beatdown of Central Arkansas, hardly a good workout. Louisville has been favored the last four meetings and the last time the Hoosiers were favored in the they won by 15 points. Take INDIANA! |
12-07-18 | Sharks -120 v. Stars | Top | 2-3 | Loss | -120 | 9 h 9 m | Show |
San Jose Dallas 8:00 ET Sharks over Mavericks- Okay here we have it... see if you fully understand this because sometimes I struggle with it. Dallas has a slightly better record and are at home but are an underdog to the Sharks. After the Stars win over Edmonton on Monday they are now 8-0-1 including a 4-3 win at San Jose against the Pacific. Two more trends have the home team 6-1 in the last seven meetings with the only win by the Starts and the Sharks are 0-5 in their last five meetings in Dallas and yet are the favorite. I think I know why...Take SAN JOSE! |
12-07-18 | 76ers v. Pistons +3.5 | Top | 117-111 | Loss | -106 | 9 h 57 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Detroit 7:00 ET Pistons (+) over 76ers- With the acquisition of Jimmy Butler teams are beginning to put a little more focus on Philadelphia when they get them in their sites. But, the 76ers are too inexperienced to handle that kind of everyday pressure. Teams that can have targets on their backs need to be experienced with strong leadership that have winning team are qualities. It's too early for Philly to handle that load especially on the road where they still need to mature as a team. They are great at home 13-1, but 4-8 SU and 3-9 ATS on the road including 1-6 ATS in their last seven trips to Detroit. The Piston are 9-4 SY at home and have lost their last two. Embiid and Butler matched against Griffin and Drummond has the making of a great encounter if they give to the game what they should (NBA players take too many games off and some of them they are playing in). I think the natural response is to jump on the Sixers off their last at Toronto, but this is the first of back-to-back meetings (Monday at Philly) and I expect the home team to prevail here. Take DETROIT! |
12-06-18 | Avalanche v. Panthers -102 | Top | 5-2 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 47 m | Show |
Colorado at Florida 7:00 ET Panthers over Avalanche- After missing five games the Florida mainstay goalie Roberto Luongo returned between the pipes and had 33 saves in the Panthers 5-0 win over Boston. This is Florida's seventh straight home game as the host Colorado who is an outstanding 10-5-1-1 on the road but opened as an underdog here. The Avalanche are off of a 9-0-2 streak and are now coming back to the pack. Behind the return of Luongo...take FLORIDA! |
12-06-18 | Maryland v. Purdue -8 | Top | 60-62 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 14 m | Show |
Maryland at Purdue 7:00 ET Boilermakers (-) over Terrapins- There are some conflicting 'numbers' here that could bring confusion when making an analysis of this matchup. Starting with the Boilermakers who have lost their last two and are just 7-18-2 ATS in their last 27 games in the Big Ten and are only 4-11 ATS in their last 15 home games. No. 23 Maryland is 7-1 straight up this season but just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. I believe this 'price' is a bit high as the oddsmakers are aware that Purdue have won four straight in this series. Take PURDUE! |
12-05-18 | Temple v. Villanova -8 | Top | 59-69 | Win | 100 | 8 h 4 m | Show |
Temple at Villanova 8:30 ET Wildcats (-) over Owls- Villanova the defending National Champs are off to a sluggish start and have looked abominable at times including an embarrassing 73-46 loss to Michigan and an another embarrassing overtime loss to Furman. Since that loss the Wildcats have reeled off four straight road wins and now return home to host Big-5 rival Temple where they are 15-5 ATS in their last 20 games. The Wildcats have owned the Big-5 winning 23 straight including Saturday's 85-78 win against LaSalle. Temple enters this fray winners of their last three including a victories over Missouri and California but are in over their heads here. Take VILLANOVA! |
12-05-18 | Oilers -103 v. Blues | Top | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 3 m | Show |
Edmonton at St. Louis 8:00 ET Oilers over Blues- How the Blues are not favored in this game has me baffled as that have defeated Edmonton 21 of the last 29 meetings including 11-3 over the Oilers in the last 14 meetings. Edmonton had won three straight before their last outing a 4-1 loss at Dallas and St. Louis dropped their last game to Arizona after a road win at Colorado. But, in those two game the Blue lost four players to injury and will be a bit hamstrung tonight. Take EDMONTON! |
12-05-18 | Nuggets v. Magic +5.5 | Top | 124-118 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 5 m | Show |
Denver at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over Nuggets- Both of these clubs are on winning streaks as Orlando has won their last two and the Nuggets are on a season high six game ride with the last win at Toronto Monday night. But, the Denver win may have been costly as leading scorer Gary Harris is scheduled for an MRI today and will not play. The Nuggets pounded the Magic 112-87 in Denver November 23 and should suffer a bit of a letdown after defeating the Raptors at Toronto on Monday. The Magic are 10-6 straight-up in their last 16 and are looking forward to start winning at home. Take ORLANDO! |
12-04-18 | Michigan v. Northwestern +6.5 | Top | 62-60 | Win | 100 | 10 h 48 m | Show |
Michigan at Northwestern 9:00 ET Wildcats (+) over Wolverines- Sometimes I just wonder what the hell is going on! Here is Michigan (8-0) having played in the Final-Four Championship Game and have destroyed opponents by an average of 21 points and yet they are only ranked No. 5. Northwestern has played well at 6-2 and are off a 68-66 loss at Indiana while the Wolverines are off of three home games the last against Purdue. The Wildcats are 4-0 at home and both clubs play tough defense and I expect a tight contest. Take NORTHWESTERN! |
12-04-18 | Magic +2.5 v. Heat | Top | 105-90 | Win | 100 | 9 h 9 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NBA 'Highest-Rated' Money Game Orlando at Miami 7:35 ET Magic (+) over Heat- This Miami team inconsistency is like the part of Joe Pesci spoke of in Oliver Stone's film, an enigma and a riddle all mixed into to one and there is no answer. 'We' have been very fortunate on-and-against the Heat both home and away so I always feel confident what having a side in their games. This is the final stop for the Magic on a season high six game road trip and a win here would even the trip 3-3. Miami has won the last two at home following a six game home losing streak Orlando is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings and are on a 4-0 ATS run in their last four games while Miami is 1-6 ATS at home against teams with losing records. Magic are 8-3 ATS on the road while Miami is now 5-8 ATS as hosts. Take ORLANDO! |
12-03-18 | Clippers +2.5 v. Pelicans | Top | 129-126 | Win | 100 | 8 h 25 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NBA 'Highest-Rated' Money Game L.A. Clippers at New Orleans 8:00 ET Clippers (+) over Pelicans- The last time these two played each other in late October in New Orleans the Pelicans won their third straight in this series as 5.5 point favorites. Everyone knows just what an impact Anthony Davis has on the game when on the floor scoring points, blocking shots and grabbing rebounds. Tonight he will be facing a formidable foe in the Clippers who had won nine of ten before last night's loss at Dallas but LA still leads the Western Conference with 15 wins. The Pelicans have won the last three meetings but the 'numbers' were much different. Something has happened since their last encounter in the Crescent City as the Pels are now favorites by less than a long field goal attempt. This 'price' tells me the Clippers have gained ground or that New Orleans is slipping. Either way...take LA. CLIPPERS! |
12-02-18 | Clippers v. Mavs +2.5 | Top | 110-114 | Win | 100 | 9 h 34 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Dallas 7:00 ET Mavericks (+) over Clippers- My, my, my just look at those Clippers, they are the 'best' in the West with their 15-6 record and have won nine of 10 including their last four both SU and ATS. Dallas at 10-10 is in a better spot then most expected at this time with rookie Luke Doncic and veteran center DeAndre Jordan who is facing his ex-teammates for the first time. The Mavericks who are 6-0 ATS in their last six home games and are 14-2 ATS following a loss by 10-points or more and they are 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings. Take DALLAS! |
12-02-18 | Sharks -120 v. Canadiens | Top | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 13 m | Show |
San Jose at Montreal 7:00 ET Sharks over Canadiens- San Jose is winless 0-3-1 on their current five-game road trip going 0-4 ATS and face the Canadiens in Montreal who just broke a 5-game losing streak with a win over the NY Rangers. The Sharks have won six straight in this series and is favored here despite of their road problems. But, the surprising part of this 'line' is that the Sharks are favored and yet just 2-12 ATS on the road this season. It's a game of numbers and they add up for the visitor. Take SAN JOSE! |
12-02-18 | Vikings +5.5 v. Patriots | Top | 10-24 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 9 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Highest-Rated Megabucks Winner Minnesota New Patriots 4:25 ET Vikings (+) over Patriots- Minnesota was 'our' Highest-Rated' Megabucks 24-17 winner over Green Bay winner last Sunday night as they dominated the Patriots had the semi annual weekend off (played the Jets) and are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS at home. These two have met five times the last 15 years with the road team going 4-1 ATS. The road has been and will be so much easier for New England who for years has played in the weakest division in football. The Vikings are just starting to rev it up and are putting together a late charge and are the side tonight. Take MINNESOTA! |
12-01-18 | Northwestern +15 v. Ohio State | Top | 24-45 | Loss | -115 | 26 h 39 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Big-Ten Power Play Winner Northwestern vs Ohio State 8:00 ET Wildcats (+) over Buckeyes- Having used the Buckeyes as my Early-Bird winner (10-2 86%) over Michigan last Saturday I have no qualms about playing against them this week. My problem is not on how good Ohio State's offense is but in my lack of confidence in Northwestern who I deem as being a bit short in talent with recent bowl editions. I expect this line to keep running 'up' until game time as the 'public' will believe that the #6 Buckeyes must run up the score to overcome #5 Oklahoma who played earlier. This just sweetens the pot for the Wildcats who will be looking to win the game. Take NORTHWESTERN! |
12-01-18 | Fresno State +1 v. Boise State | Top | 19-16 | Win | 100 | 26 h 25 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' WAC Vegas Hotline Winner Chip Chirimbes, Las Vegas Hilton Handicapping Champion was 4-1 80% with his Fab-5 Best Bets last Saturday including his Vegas Hotline winner Arizona (+2) 40-41 over Arizona State. Chip is now 9-1 90% the last two Saturdays with his NCAA Fab-5 Best Bets and has a 'Guaranteed' Vegas Hotline winner between Fresno State and Boise State. Get it NOW only $49 or part of Chip's Top-3 or Fab-5 (9-1 L/ 2Wks) NCAA Best Bets! Fresno State at Boise State 7:45 ET Bulldogs (+) over Broncos- Its fitting that these two meet in the Mountain West Championship game as they were by far the best teams in one of the countries weakest conferences. Underdog 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings. Fresno is 0-3 ATS in their last three contests after a seven-game ATS win streak, Boise comes in winning their last seven-games with three straight covers. Considering the Broncos are 5-1 at home this is a very short number and tells me Telford's Bulldogs has a shot. Take FRESNO STATE! |
12-01-18 | Warriors v. Pistons +5 | Top | 102-111 | Win | 100 | 8 h 2 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NBA 'Highest-Rated' Money Game Golden State at Detroit 7:00 ET Pistons (+) over Warriors- In 11 games without point guard Stephen Curry the Warriors have gone 5-6 but will see the return of the games best pure shooter in the league. Kevin Durant tried to pick up the scoring slack 51 points against the Raptors Thursday and has had 40 or more points in three straight games. The trouble is teams with high scorers don't win and Golden State has struggled with out team balance. Although the Warriors have won 12 of their last 14 meetings they hare just 1-5 ATS in the last five meetings. Detroit is playing well and is 6-1 ATS in their last seven. Take the PISTONS! |
11-30-18 | Oklahoma State v. Minnesota -4 | Top | 76-83 | Win | 100 | 8 h 57 m | Show |
Oklahoma State at Minnesota 10:00 Cowboys (+) over Golden Gophers- Minnesota opened the season 5-0 including wins over Utah, Washington and Texas A&M but when it can to their ACC matchup they fell 68-56 to Boston College last time out. Playing out of conference or just about anywhere for the Gophers has been ugly. They are 2-16 ATS against the Big-12 and just 8-21 ATS in their last 29 overall. Oklahoma State on the other hand defeated Memphis and No. 21 LSU last time while losing to NCAA champ Villanova last Friday. The Cowboys are good enough to win here. Take OKLAHOMA STATE! |
11-30-18 | Utah +6 v. Washington | Top | 3-10 | Loss | -115 | 26 h 8 m | Show |
Utah vs Washington 8:00 ET Utes (+) over Huskies- Last week we posted Washington as our 'Highest-Rated' Guaranteed winner (9-1 90% L-10) and they delivered in a big way dominating Washington State 28-15. The Huskies were the Pac-12 favorites to become the first team from the conference to get into the FBS Final–4, but were exposed early in a loss to Auburn as quarterback Jake Browning and running back Myles Gaskin just didn't reach their potential. The Huskies already own a win over the Utes a 21-7 victory on September 15 but the underdog is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings. Washington is 0-5 ATS in their last five on grass while Utah is 7-1 ATS in their last eight on grass. The Utes are going with replacement quarterback Jason Shelley which only strengthens their resolve. Take UTAH! |
11-30-18 | Jazz +1.5 v. Hornets | Top | 119-111 | Win | 100 | 8 h 54 m | Show |
Utah at Charlotte 7:00 ET Jazz (+) over Hornets- So the storyline here is that Utah has acquired Kyle Kover from Cleveland and the 37 year old believe it or not was one of the most productive player on the Cavaliers. Utah is off to a slow start (10-12) but are 8-6 straight-up on the road. Charlotte has been good to 'us' and their backers this season posting a 14-7 ATS record including 8-8 ATS at home. A a matter of fact the Hornets have defeated Utah four straight time at home both SU and ATS with the Jazz last winning in Dec. of 2013. After a team meeting the Utah says that they are 'locked-in' as team communication has improved. Take UTAH! |
11-30-18 | Sabres v. Panthers -155 | Top | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 6 h 51 m | Show |
Buffalo at Florida 7:00 ET Panthers over Sabres- Florida is struggling a bit as they have won just two of their last eight and are facing a team off a franchise setting win streak. Buffalo was on a ten game win steak before losing 5-4 to Tampa Bay yesterday and what seems to happen time and again after a team has had their 'mojo' broken they stumble for a while. The Panthers have been made a heavy favorite here and it doesn't make sense other then the Sabres are to have a letdown and Florida will be psyched to get a home win where they are just 3-7 ATS, while Buffalo is 10-4 ATS on the road and yet look at this line. Take the PANTHERS! |
11-29-18 | Saints v. Cowboys +8 | Top | 10-13 | Win | 100 | 27 h 60 m | Show |
New Orleans at Dallas 8:20 ET Cowboys (+) over Saints- How long can this go on...no not the Jerry Show in Dallas but show Drew Brees and the Saints have put on since NFL Week 2. That's when the picked-up their first win of the year as 21-18 non-cover win over Cleveland and then nine straight wins nine straight 'covers' including 5-0 SU and ATS on the road. Dallas is another story at 6-5 share the lead in the NFC East and have won three straight with Ezekiel Elliott once again becoming the league's leading rusher (1,074 yards). The Cowboys will need that to keep the ball out of Brees hands (76.4 completions) and possess the ball. Pokes must come up with 'Big D' to win here. Take DALLAS! |
11-29-18 | Warriors v. Raptors -9 | Top | 128-131 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 15 m | Show |
Golden State at Toronto 8:00 ET Raptors (-) over Warriors- Nine points...That's right the Warriors opened a 9-point underdog to the Raptors and both Stephen Curry and Draymond Green are expected back soon possibly tonight. Golden State has been without Curry for 10 games and are 5-5 but have won their last three while Toronto is on a six-game winning streak. The Warriors are just 4-5 on the road and an even worse 2-7 ATS but have won the last eight in the series and yet the Raptors are a huge favorite here as the Warriors just don't have the same team chemistry. Take TORONTO! |
11-29-18 | Alabama v. UCF -5.5 | Top | 64-70 | Win | 100 | 9 h 44 m | Show |
Alabama at Central Florida 7:00 ET Panthers (-) over Crimson Tide- Central Florida has waited for this matchup for the past two years and amazingly the Panthers are favored, unfortunately this is basketball and not football. Both clubs are 5-1 but that's where the similarity ends. The Tide are 1-5 ATS while C. Florida is 5-1 ATS. UCF lost their only game 80-79 to FAU while Alabama lost by 16 to Northeastern (not exactly a powerhouse). Could any of us imagine that the Panthers would favored over the Crimson but they have a weapon 'Bama can't handle, that is 7-6 Tacko Fall who has become a force in the middle. Take CENTRAL FLORIDA! |
11-28-18 | Virginia v. Maryland +4 | Top | 76-71 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 24 m | Show |
Virginia at Maryland 7:30 ET Terrapins (+) over Cavaliers- A pair of ranked and unbeaten (6-0) clubs will totally different styles will battle it out in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge at College Park, Maryland as the Terrapins host Virginia. The No. 4 ranked Cavaliers are known for defense under Tony Bennett and are at it again this season allowing just 49.3 points per contest. The Cavs off their 53-46 win over Big Ten rival Wisconsin in the Battle of the Bahamas Championship game and are 7-1 in the last eight meetings. This rivalry goes back to 1912 and Maryland has a huge 107-75 series lead. The Terrapins average 84.8 points per game and have a major advantage with the home floor. Take MARYLAND! |
11-28-18 | Ducks v. Panthers -165 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -165 | 7 h 30 m | Show |
Anaheim at Florida 7:00 ET Panthers over Ducks- Florida was skating along with five straight win and then they took to the NHL road and lost five of seven and just ended a 3-game losing streak with a home win over New Jersey. The Panthers will be playing their third straight home game and have five more at home following this encounter. The road has not been pleasant for Anaheim as they are 1-7 away from home including just 1-4 in their last four trips to Florida. Both these clubs entered the league in 1993 with the Ducks winning one Cup and the Panthers none. Still, take FLORIDA! |
11-27-18 | Kings -103 v. Canucks | Top | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 12 h 16 m | Show |
L.A. Kings at Vancouver 10:00 ET Kings over Canucks- How many time will they throw this stuff at me on the same day...lets look at this. The Kings who have the most losses in the NHL with 14 and have scored the fewest points (17) in the league are favored on the road which should not happen against anybody. Hey wait a second, this game is even 'doubly' attractive when you throw in the Canucks just defeated the Kings 4-2 in Los Angels on Saturday. Add that Vancouver is 1-9 in their last 10 and that the road team is 5-2 in the last seven gives us the winner. Take LOS ANGELES! |
11-27-18 | Raptors v. Grizzlies +5 | Top | 122-114 | Loss | -107 | 10 h 1 m | Show |
Toronto at Memphis 8:00 ET Grizzlies (+) over Raptors- Toronto appears to have righted the ship winning their last five after dropping the previous three. Meanwhile, the hometown Grizzlies have lost their last two falling at the Clippers in overtime and then returning home and getting ambushed by New York who has won a season high three straight. The Raptors swept the two-game series last year and are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. But, there's always a but, this is a much different Memphis club as they are NBA leaders in defense and had 19 blocked shots against the Knicks and former coach David Fizdale. These bears will have bite tonight...take the GRIZZLIES! |
11-27-18 | Michigan State v. Louisville +5.5 | Top | 78-82 | Win | 100 | 8 h 13 m | Show |
Michigan State at Louisville 7:30 ET Cardinals (+) over Spartans- After dropping their opening game to Kansas 92-87 Tom Izzo has his No. 8 Spartans riding a five-game winning streak including the title in the Las Vegas Invitational defeating UCLA and Texas. Louisville opened with three wins but have dropped their last two to Tennessee and Marquette on the road and return home (3-0) to host Michigan State. A pair of small trends that back the Cardinals says that MSU is 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 true road games and Louisville is 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 versus the Big Ten. Take LOUISVILLE! |
11-27-18 | Virginia Tech v. Penn State +3.5 | Top | 62-63 | Win | 100 | 8 h 36 m | Show |
Virginia Tech at Penn State 7:00 ET Nittany Lions (+) over Hokies- No. 12 Virginia Tech enters Bryce Jordan Center 5-0 with a perfect 4-0 ATS record. Penn State at 3-2 has been unimpressive but are 2-0 at home and are 16-7 ATS in their last 23 games. The Hokies are 3-0 ATS away from home this season but other then Purdue have had a weak schedule. The Nittany Lions are returning home after three straight on the road including their last performance against Bradley where they had their worst shooting night 28.8% in three years. Look for State to bounce back here. Take the NITTANY LIONS! |
11-26-18 | Titans +4 v. Texans | Top | 17-34 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 60 m | Show |
Tennessee at Houston 8:15 ET Titans (+) over Texans- The Houston Texans are on a franchise high seven-game win streak after dropping their first games this season. This steak has not been as impressive as say the Saints streak because they are just 4-6 ATS overall and just 1-3 ATS at home as they have won four games by three points or less. The Monday night scenario is so one-sided I have to consider it a key factor, Tennessee is 7-0 ATS in their last seven MNF appearances while Houston is 2-10 ATS in their last 12 Monday nighters. Tale TENNESSEE! |
11-26-18 | Rockets v. Wizards +4 | Top | 131-135 | Win | 100 | 7 h 10 m | Show |
Houston at Washington 7:00 ET Wizards (+) over Rockets- The Wizards were off to a terrible start but have managed to win five of their last eight games and how host the over-rated Rockets. It took Houston 10 games to realize that Carmelo Anthony was more of a liability than an assets but they are still having their own issues and are 7-1 ATS overall. Each team won on their home curt as they split a pair of decisions last season. Dwight Howard is day-to-day and has missed the Wizards' last three games...it won't matter. Take WASHINGTON! |
11-25-18 | Packers v. Vikings -3 | Top | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 27 h 28 m | Show |
Green Bay at Minnesota 8:20 ET Vikings (-) over Packers- Do you still believe in Aaron Rogers...I'm not so sure anymore. Yes, he's still great, I see that, but something is different. With Green Bay at 4-5-1 (tie vs Minny) a loss would pretty much make them a playoff after though. Both clubs are off losses with the Vikings quarter Kirk Cousins under fire of late losing 2-of-3 with only five touchdowns and four interceptions. It's time for him to shine for Minnesota in front of a national audience. Green Bay is 0-5 SU on the road and have lost four of six and is 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games on field turf (How 'bout dat!). The home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five games and are the play here. Take MINNESOTA! |
11-24-18 | Pelicans v. Wizards +1 | Top | 114-124 | Win | 100 | 9 h 47 m | Show |
New Orleans at Washington 8:05 ET Wizards over Pelicans- Whoa, did that really happen? How did a team with Anthony Davis loss to the New York Knicks last night. Ah yes, The Pelicans were on the road where they are just 2-8 in 10 games. Last season Washington defeated New Orleans in both meetings and have won 12 of the last 13 meetings and are 20-7 in the last 27. Sometimes, the beat goes on when teams meet no matter who is on the floor. Note, that the Pelicans are 0-7 ATS following a straight-up loss. Take the WIZARDS! |
11-24-18 | Notre Dame v. USC +12 | Top | 24-17 | Win | 100 | 25 h 7 m | Show |
Notre Dame at Southern California 8:00 ET Trojans (+) over Fighting Irish- Last week 'we' had Best Bet winners in both these teams matchups as Notre Dame crushed Syracuse 36-3 Power Play winner and USC fell 'outright' 34-27 to UCLA in our Rivalry winner. After what 'we' saw last week and with the Irish needing just to win here to go undefeated and grasp a spot in the college football version of the Final-Four this line will be greatly inflated. On the other side, after winning 11 games and the Pac-12 title the Trojans must get an upset win here they will miss out on a bowl game. USC has lost four of their last five but will put a maximum effort here. Take the generous points...take SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA! |
11-24-18 | LSU v. Texas A&M -3 | Top | 72-74 | Loss | -115 | 25 h 43 m | Show |
Louisiana State at Texas A&M 7:30 ET Aggies (-) over Tigers- Okay, here we have it! The 'Jerry Special,' you remember that...It's when an unranked team (Texas A&M) is favored over a ranked team (#7 LSU). So, Jerry is 9-2 88% in this situation this season and note that the favorite is 7-0 SU and ATS in the last seven meetings and guess what...all seven wins were by the Tigers. But, this is a 'new' season at Texas A&M with Jimbo Fisher getting his first crack as an SEC school against the Bengals. Personally, I am not that impressed with LSU and can see the A&M No.2 defense against the run allowing just 80 yards per game shutting down the Tigers. Take the AGGIES! |
11-24-18 | Hurricanes -125 v. Islanders | Top | 1-4 | Loss | -125 | 7 h 15 m | Show |
Carolina at NY Islanders 7:00 ET Hurricanes over Islanders- The 'line' here has me wondering...both these clubs are 11-8-1-1 and New York is hosting this game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and yet they are not favored. This just doesn't seem right as the Isles are 6-3 at home and Carolina is 3-6 on the road and yet the Hurricanes are favored. Well, I guess the Hurricanes are hot having won their last three. Take CAROLINA! |
11-24-18 | Michigan v. Ohio State +5 | Top | 39-62 | Win | 100 | 71 h 50 m | Show |
Michigan at Ohio State 12:00 ET Buckeyes (+) over Wolverines- This is so illogical that it can't be any other way. Ohio State may be 10-1 but the have had a mediocre season football quality wise. After an opening week loss the Notre Dame the Wolverines have reeled off 10 straight wins and for the most part in impressive performances. I could come up with some stuff like the 'Dog is 4-1 in the last five meetings which also means that Michigan is 4-1 last five because they have been the 'dog each time. Well, the rolls are reversed here and the pressure is on the Wolverines. What bothers me some is that I don't ever remember the Buckeyes being an underdog at home, like I said, the 'rolls are reversed.' Still, the points are a bonus and may become a factor as I expect the Buckeyes to move the ball better than the Blue Maze. Take THE OHIO STATE! |
11-23-18 | Jazz v. Lakers -2.5 | Top | 83-90 | Win | 100 | 12 h 34 m | Show |
Utah at L.A. Lakers 10:30 ET Jazz (+) over Lakers- There is bound to be a turn-around of this series as the Lakers of course have LeBron James and all things are different for Los Angeles. Utah swept the series last season 3-0 and have won the last seven meetings. The young Lakers are maturing fast with James leading the way and are facing a struggling Jazz team that has dropped four of their last five. Last time out the Jazz had a weak effort in their game at Sacramento and I expect a huge change in attitude here. Take UTAH! |
11-23-18 | Washington +3 v. Washington State | Top | 28-15 | Win | 100 | 25 h 42 m | Show |
Washington at Washington State 8:30 ET Huskies (+) over Cougars- I know, I understand and the Cougars are that good, I understand that the Huskies have been over-rated and underachieved (Except as 'our' Blowout GOY Winner 28-7 over BYU) all year long and are a miserable 2-9 ATS while Washington State is a most impressive 10-1 both SU and ATS and as heavy favorites in places. As school history goes it is and has been all Washington winning the last four and going 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings at Washington State. The Huskies do it again...take WASHINGTON! |
11-23-18 | Oklahoma v. West Virginia +3.5 | Top | 59-56 | Win | 100 | 24 h 60 m | Show |
Oklahoma at West Virginia 8:00 ET Sooners over Mountaineers- Love the matchup as No. 13 West Virginia hosts No. 6 Oklahoma for a berth in the Big-12 Championship game. This could very well end up a shootout between a pair of premiere quarterbacks in college football. I have already stated that I believe the Sooners Kyle Murray is the most 'explosive' player in NCAA football and then West Virginia has Will Geir at QB who many feel will be the first pick in the draft. Grier has thrown for 3,325 yards and 33 touchdowns with eight interceptions while Murray has thrown for 3,310 yards 34 TD's and just sic ints along with 739 yards rushing for 10 touchdowns. Although the Sooners have won the last four meetings and 19 consecutive true road games, all said, the Mountaineers are off a lost at Oklahoma State and will rebound here for their first Big-12 win over the Sooners. Take WEST VIRGINIA! |
11-23-18 | Texas +5.5 v. Michigan State | Top | 68-78 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 45 m | Show |
Texas vs Michigan State 6:30 ET Longhorns (+) over Spartans- both clubs are on winning streak as the Longhorns are 5-0 on the season and Michigan State has won four straight since their opening loss to Kentucky. The Spartans got here with an easy 87-67 win over UCLA while Texas was 'our' 'Highest-Rated' winner 92-89 over North Carolina. The way these two won was completely different as the 'Horns trailed the Tar Heels 17-4 and fought their way back while Michigan State just routed the Bruins. MSU has been on a down trend since conference play started last season and are 5-12-2 ATS in their last 19 games overall. I expect this game to pay close will take the points...take TEXAS! |
11-23-18 | Flames v. Golden Knights -126 | Top | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 6 h 36 m | Show |
Calgary at Vegas 6:00 ET Golden Knights over Flames- Rolls have been reversed this season as first-place Calgary invades Las Vegas looking for their fourth straight win. Meanwhile, it appears that the Golden Knights are slowly recovering from their highly successful inaugural season but still lead the NHL in losses with 13. 'We' used Vegas late time out and they rewarded 'us' with an overtime win, this time they get it done in regulation. Take VEGAS! |
11-22-18 | Falcons +13.5 v. Saints | Top | 17-31 | Loss | -120 | 24 h 9 m | Show |
Atlanta at New Orleans 8:20 ET Falcons (+) over Saints- Oh man, this is one of those spots, you know the one where everyone gets 'smart' and takes the weaker team and gets crushed by the 'public' favorite. Since their opening game of the season New Orleans has been a point spread darling going 8-1 ATS and covering numbers in a huge way. The underdog is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings but the Falcons are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. After the way the Saints took apart Philadelphia last week 48-7 and the way Atlanta blew its game to Dallas they have to move toward the center. Better from the Falcons and less from New Orleans. Take ATLANTA! |
11-22-18 | Texas +7.5 v. North Carolina | Top | 92-89 | Win | 100 | 9 h 28 m | Show |
Texas vs North Carolina 7:30 ET Longhorns (+) over Tar Heels- When Skaka Smart left VCU to coach for Texas many thought there would be an instant turnaround but this is the year their 'backers' expect results. North Carolina is undefeated and won their first five games by an average of 30.6 points as they have played all five games at home. Texas believe it or not leads this series 7-3 and has won the last three meetings and seven of the last eight. The Tar Heels will be without point guard Seventh Woods who leads the team in assists will miss this contest because of a concussion received in practice Tuesday. Take TEXAS! |
11-21-18 | Thunder +1 v. Warriors | Top | 123-95 | Win | 100 | 11 h 14 m | Show |
Oklahoma City at Golden State 10:30 ET Thunder (+) over Warriors- How can this be? 'We' all realize that Golden State is in a state of flux right now having lost three straight and four of their last five. The Warriors troubles started when Stephen Curry went down and then 'team' jealousy raised it's as fragile egos and insecurity surfaced. This internal turmoil is not a small issue as basketball is such a game of chemistry (see Carmelo Anthony). If there is any other team that loves to run the floor and can play with the Warriors. I'm sure Kevin Durant will come up with some issue regarding his former team and teammate Russell Westbrook. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
11-21-18 | Kings v. Jazz -9 | Top | 119-110 | Loss | -101 | 10 h 55 m | Show |
Sacramento at Utah 9:00 ET Jazz (-) over Kings- It's time for the Jazz to starting putting things together as they are a disappointing 8-9 on the season and have inconsistent to date. Utah's last five losses are by an average 22.2 points and now they are a heavy favorite against a Kings team that is vastly improved and actually have a better record at this point of the season. The Jazz have played 11 of their first 17 on the road and I expect being back home will help against a young Sacramento team. Utah defeated the Kings in the season opener 123-117 (non-cover -8.5) and I expect them to do it against but get the money this time. Take UTAH! |
11-21-18 | Stars v. Penguins -160 | Top | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 6 h 30 m | Show |
Dallas at Pittsburgh 7:00 ET Penguins over Stars- So, it even happens in the NHL, the Penguins have won just once in their last 10 games and they are hosting a Dallas team off a two-game trip into NYC. What happens here is an inflated line against a quality foe. The thing that I find here is that this has been a home ice series with Pittsburgh going 8-2 ATS in the last 10 in the Steel City and the home team is 16-5 in the last 21 meetings. That's enough for me. Take PITTSBURGH! |
11-20-18 | Nets v. Heat -3.5 | Top | 104-92 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 51 m | Show |
Brooklyn at Miami 7:35 ET Nets (+) over Heat- Six days ago the Heat defeated the Nets 120-107 in Brooklyn the only win for Miami in their last six games. This Heat team has shown frustrations in their play and their injury situation as point guard Goran Dragic who's swollen right knee needs to be drained of fluid too often for coach Eric Spoelstra liking. Miami hasn't played well at home winning and 'covering' just three of the nine games they have hosted. Although Brooklyn is just 4-11-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings they are 3-1-1 ATS in the last five in the 'Magic City.' Take the N-E-T-S! |
11-20-18 | Raptors v. Magic +6.5 | Top | 93-91 | Win | 100 | 7 h 13 m | Show |
Toronto at Orlando 7:05 ET Magic (+) over Raptors- Toronto leads the NBA in wins with 13 despite Kawhi Leonard sitting out five of their 17 games although he will be back dressed and ready tonight after taking off Saturday's win at Chicago. The Raptors won all three meetings last tear and have won four straight in this series but oddly enough they are only 3-7-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings. Orlando who started 2-6 but have won seven of nine since to rise above the 'break-even' mark. The Magic have won four straight home games while Toronto is 2-5 ATS in their last seven trips to the 'Magic Kingdom.' Play on ORLANDO! |
11-19-18 | Chiefs v. Rams -3 | Top | 51-54 | Push | 0 | 10 h 52 m | Show |
Kansas City at L.A. Rams 8:20 ET Rams (-) over Chiefs- Now, this is expected to be the best game of the season as the L.A. Rams the NFL Super Bowl favorites host the AFC's most sensational offense owned by the Kansas City Chiefs. What I didn't expect was the 'public' and the 'wise guys' are both on the same side. And that's not all the majority of professional handicapping services are going on a limb with the Chiefs. It just looks to attractive being able to take points with Kansas City's offense. The adjustment to returning back to play in Los Angeles from Mexico City will be much easier for the Rams than the Chiefs who be will moving from Tee-Pee to Tee-Pee. Take LOS ANGELS RAMS! |
11-19-18 | Panthers -135 v. Senators | Top | 7-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 48 m | Show |
Florida at Ottawa 7:30 ET Panthers over Senators- Florida is on the rod and has dropped their last two games and yet the are favored against a club with a better record and more overall points. Ottawa is 7-3-2 at home and 8-4 ATS and yet they are deemed the underdog here. The Panthers are 4-4-0-2 on the road but 7-3 ATS and will be led by Mike Hoffman who has scored in a club record point streak at 15. Florida is the side here...take the PANTHERS! |
11-19-18 | Celtics v. Hornets +3 | Top | 112-117 | Win | 100 | 7 h 16 m | Show |
Boston at Charlotte 7:00 ET Hornets (+) over Celtics- Boston may have a healthy Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving but their overall 'team' play has take a step back this season as they are just 9-7 SU and 6-10 ATS. The Celtics are coming off a home loss to Utah where coach Brad Stevens had to remove his starters as just two of them scored in double figures. Charlotte has dropped their last two and are off an overtime loss Saturday night 112-119 to Philadelphia as Kemba Walker scored a franchise record 60 points in the loss. As far as head-to-head action is concerned Boston has been totally dominate winning seven straight meetings and are 6-0 ATS in their last six trips to Charlotte. So, why would I like the Hornets...well, they have improved while the Celtics are losing ground. In a surprise that CHARLOTTE! |
11-18-18 | Blazers v. Wizards +1.5 | Top | 119-109 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 54 m | Show |
Portland at Washington 6:00 ET Wizards (+) over Trailblazers- Portland is another one of those 'Least Coast' teams that beats up on underlings at home and then turn into tourist on the road. Washinton is a disappointing 5-10 straight-up and ATS but have shown some life with the return dare I say of Dwight Howard...yes that Dwight Howard who started with Orlando and belongs in Disney's Fantasy Island because no one will ever win with this guy at the center. The Wizards just had a 3-game win streak stopped by the Nets 115-104 on Friday but are 6-0 ATS after losing a home game by 10 or more points and Washington is 8-3 ATS as hosts against the Trailblazers. So, well, it isn't like the Wizards can't win a game with Howard they just win in spite of him, this is one of those games. Take WASHINGTON! |
11-18-18 | Panthers v. Lions +4.5 | Top | 19-20 | Win | 100 | 20 h 47 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NFC Power Play Winner Carolina at Detroit 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Panthers- Very few of Bill Belichick's former coaches have been very successful and and Detroit's head coach Matt Patricia looks like another doomed coaches that is in over his head. The lions offense which was one of the best last season is now ranked 23rd while their defense against the Pass is among the worst in the league. Detroit has just four sacks in their current three game losing streak and hosts a Carolina squad that has doubts of their own. The Panthers off their Thursday night beating by Pittsburgh have shown weakness at the corners and that should be enough for Matt Stafford to expose. Take DETROIT! |
11-18-18 | Bucs +2.5 v. Giants | Top | 35-38 | Loss | -101 | 20 h 32 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Money Game Winner Tampa Bay at New York Giants 1:00 ET Buccaneers (+) over Giants- So, the Giants won a game and defeated the Mighty Forty-niners who were on the third string quarterback. Despite what you may think you saw last Monday night New York is a long way for being a competitive team in this league. The Giants have won twice on the road but are a dismal 0-4 SU and ATS at home losing by an average of 12 points per game. Tampa Bay started the season with a win over New Orleans (the Saints only loss) and have realized not matter what the score that Jamis Winston is no the answer and they will be going with Ryan Fitzpatrick who has plenty of experience at Met Life Stadium one of the toughest places to throw the football because of the crosswinds (Phil Simms made the adjustment). Fitzpatrick threw for over 400 yards again last week and will put up enough points against this imposter defense of New York. Take TAMPA BAY! |
11-18-18 | Steelers v. Jaguars +6 | Top | 20-16 | Win | 100 | 19 h 21 m | Show |
Pittsburgh at Jacksonville 1:00 ET Jaguars (+) over Steelers- Granted, Pittsburgh with Ben Roethlisberger leading the way look unstoppable even without the moron Somebody Bell. The Steelers were 1-2-1 and were looking up at the entire division (even the Browns at the time) and have reeled off five straight wins and more importantly 'covers.' Jacksonville is just a shell of themselves without Leonard Fournette who returned to action after missing four games. In last year's playoff game 'Big Ben' threw for 469 yards and five TD passes in the Jaguars 45-42 playoff win as a 7-point dog at Pittsburgh. Jacksonville has lost their last five but with the return of Fournett will look to control the ball and eek out a win. Take JAGUARS! |
11-17-18 | Arizona +11 v. Washington State | Top | 28-69 | Loss | -115 | 28 h 56 m | Show |
Arizona at Washington State 10:30 ET Wildcats (+) over Cougars- Washington State posted their 6th win in-a-row over Colorado (UGH) last week and are now 9-1 on the season with their only loss at USC 39-36. Arizona opened the season a 11.5-point favorite against BYU and were trounced 28-23 in a game the wasn't that close. The Wildcats have won their last two and the last one was two weeks ago over Colorado 42-34 and they a win here or one in their final game against Arizona State. I have to like Arizona's chances here as the underdog is 10-4 ATS in the series. Take ARIZONA! |
11-17-18 | Jazz +4 v. Celtics | Top | 98-86 | Win | 100 | 8 h 30 m | Show |
Utah at Boston 7:35 ET Jazz (+) over Celtics- Trailing by 5-points with under two minutes to play the Celtics managed to pull out their second straight home win in overtime against Toronto last night. The Jazz meanwhile were struggling down the stretch as they faltered in the final moments against Philadelphia last night and they are just 1-7 ATS in the second of back-to-backs. Utah has had their problems in Boston where they are just 1-6-2 ATS in the last nine meetings and only 4-10-2 ATS overall in the last 16 meetings. Utah's Sam Mitchell is off a terrible night and the Celtics should be a little worn out both physically and mentally. Take UTAH! |
11-17-18 | Blue Jackets v. Hurricanes -115 | Top | 4-1 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 25 m | Show |
Columbus at Carolina 7:00 ET Hurricanes over Blue Jackets- In the NHL the home ice is so important that a team that is just 3-6 ATS at home can be favored over a club that has a seven game point streak working and lead their division. Carolina's power play is 0-10 in their last six games against the Blue Jackets but they have scored a least one power play goal in four straight games. The home ice is the difference. Take CAROLINA! |
11-17-18 | Boston College v. Florida State +1.5 | Top | 21-22 | Win | 100 | 19 h 21 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' ACC Vegas Insider Winner (7-2 78%) Boston College at Florida State 3:30 ET Seminoles (+) over Eagles- in my 'Bubble has burst' category Boston College is the leader in the clubhouse. They had huge expectations (so did 'we') last Saturday night on National TV hosting Clemson. Well, they were dominated in a 27-7 drubbing by the Tigers as they lost their one-man offense in running back AJ Dillon hurting (he should be an NFL player) to an ankle injury. Meanwhile, the Seminoles have lost three straight and are 3-7 ATS on the season and coach Willie Taggert still doesn't have a clue. But, Florida has a history of pounding the Eagles and with this ridiculous 'number' it is more than likely State posts a win here. Take FLORIDA STATE! |

11-17-18 | USC v. UCLA +3 | Top | 27-34 | Win | 100 | 19 h 59 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Pac-12 'Rivalry' Winner Southern Cal at U.C.L.A. 3:30 ET Bruins (+) over Trojans- It hasn't been the best of season's for this pair of LA schools as USC is just 5-5 and 3-7 ATS while the Bruins are 2-8 and only 4-6 ATS. So disappointing has been the year for but these clubs this is the most combined losses they have ever had when meeting. USC leads the series 49-31-7 but are just 7-10 against UCLA in the Rose Bowl including 2-5 ATS in their last seven visits. I'm not so crazy the way this one sets up with the Trojans off a loss to Cal and UCLA beating ASU. Still I see the Bruins who have lost the last three meetings straight-up pull of a win as they have come on after a weak start. Take U.C.L.A.! |
11-17-18 | West Virginia v. Oklahoma State +7 | Top | 41-45 | Win | 100 | 19 h 46 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Big-12 Megabucks Winner West Virginia at Oklahoma State 3:30 ET Cowboys (+) over Mountaineers- OK St is another club on the cusp where at 5-5 where they must win this week or next to become bowl eligible and for the Cowboys are at TCU next. West Virginia has been nearly flawless only stubbing their toe at Iowa State and they are tied with Oklahoma who they play next week. So does that give the Mountaineers leeway of they fail here and defeat the Sooners next week. Cowboys can buck the odds here and post a win for 'us' all. Take OKLAHOMA STATE! |
11-16-18 | Capitals v. Avalanche -138 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -138 | 9 h 1 m | Show |
Washington at Colorado 9:00 ET Avalanche over Capitals- The first-time defending Stanley Cup Champions will feel the 'hangover' until later in the season when they will try and gear it up. As it is they will be short-handed without their goalie and leading scorer and power forward. Washington has had the best of this series but Colorado posted a home win 6-2 the last time the Caps paid a visit to the Mile High City. Avalanche 5-2 ATS at home while the 'hungover' Capitals are 7-11 ATS. Take COLORADO! |
11-16-18 | Jazz +3 v. 76ers | Top | 107-113 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 16 m | Show |
Utah at Philadelphia 7:00 ET Jazz (+) over 76ers- It looks like the lines-makers adjustment to the Jimmy Butler trade has been strong but and surprisingly enough in the opposite direction of what 'we' expected. The 76ers are a slight favorite here as they are off a loss in Butler's debut to Orlando and the Jazz are off their worst franchise loss since moving to Utah getting crushed at Dallas Wednesday 118-68 (that is a 50-point loss if I read it right). The Jazz will come to play tonight while the Sixers are still adjusting to playing with Butler and without the two starters they sent to Minnesota. Take UTAH! |
11-16-18 | Raptors +2 v. Celtics | Top | 116-123 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 7 m | Show |
Toronto at Boston 7:00 ET Raptors (+) over Celtics- Boston returned home and rebounded from 1-4 road trip with a resounding victory over the lowly Chicago Bulls while the Raptors have dropped their last two after starting 12-1. With the return of Gordon Hayward many of 'us' were expecting more out of the Celtics than we have seen so far this season. Toronto blew a 19-point lead to the Pistons and were defeated by last season's coach Dwane Casey. The Raptors might have got caught looking toward this match-up and they will be ready and there are two huge trends that favor Toronto. First, they are 7-2 ATS in their last nine meetings and Boston is 0-4 ATS in their last four against teams with a winning record. The last time these two met in Boston the Celtics were -4.5 and now they are favored by less than a bucket. The lines-maker has mad an adjustment and so should 'we'. Take TORONTO! |
11-16-18 | St. John's v. Rutgers +3.5 | Top | 84-65 | Loss | -102 | 7 h 14 m | Show |
St. John's at Rutgers 7:00 ET Scarlet Knights (+) over Red Storm- This was supposed to be the 'coming-out' season for St. John's, Chris Mullin has been given time to establish his personality on this club as he enters his fourth season at the helm. But, as fate would have it, the Red Storm's lone experienced big man on the roster has surgery on his right knee Wednesday and already the 2-0 Johnnies are having to make adjustments. St. John's prides itself on their defense and they will need it to contain the Knights who scored 90- and 95 points in their two wins. First road game for the young team from Queens and the school that is considered the University of New Jersey...Take RUTGERS! |
11-15-18 | Spurs +5.5 v. Clippers | Top | 111-116 | Win | 100 | 11 h 29 m | Show |
San Antonio at L.A. Clippers 10:30 ET Spurs (+) over Clippers- The Clippers are off two great overtime wins for 'us' defeating Milwaukee and Golden State on Saturday and Monday. Meanwhile, the Spurs have dropped their last four on the road including last night 111-96 loss at the lowly Phoenix Suns. On the flip side the Clippers are 6-0 ATS in their last six home games but were 1-2 against San Antonio last season but are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Los Angeles. The Spurs have now lost four of their last five and need a huge effort tonight. Take SAN ANTONIO! |
11-15-18 | Ohio State v. Creighton +2 | Top | 69-60 | Loss | -106 | 7 h 45 m | Show |
Ohio State at Creighton 7:00 ET Bluejays over Buckeyes- both clubs are 2-0 on the season with the Buckeyes getting the cash twice while the Bluejays are 0-2 ATS. Although these two have not met since 1972 but Creighton is 13-1 against the Big Ten in their last fourteen meetings. Creighton was predicted to finish ninth in the Big East and have just two starters returning. With all this stuff going on this game is a virtual pick-em and that lends me to take the home team. Take CREIGHTON! |
11-14-18 | Bruins v. Avalanche -105 | Top | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 10 h 8 m | Show |
Boston at Colorado 10:10 ET Avalanche over Bruins- The NHL's two top scorers will lace them up tonight in Denver as the Bruins start as four game road trip off two home wins with the top goal scorer in David Pastrnak and with Colorado's Mikko Rantanen who is leads the league in overall scoring. The Avalanche posted a win Sunday over Edmonton to end a five-game losing streak. Boston is just 1-4 in the last five meetings. Take COLORADO! |
11-14-18 | Spurs v. Suns +5 | Top | 96-116 | Win | 100 | 10 h 52 m | Show |
San Antonio at Phoenix 9:00 ET Suns (+) over Spurs- Well, the Spurs had to do it and they really had no choice in trading away Kawhi Leonard to Toronto in exchange for DeMar DeRosen and there lies the rub. DeRosen is the type of player that will provide you all kinds of stats expect for one...wins in crucial games as stats never lie but they can be very deceiving. Phoenix who opened the season with a huge win over Dallas has dropped 11 of 12 since including their last four. San Antonio has been no prize of late losing three of their last four but have won 14 of the last 15 meetings. After their blowout 118-101 loss to New Orleans Monday as new coach Igor Kokoskov complained about the lack of intensity. Although 2-5 SU at home the Suns are 4-3 ATS as hosts. Take PHOENIX! |
11-13-18 | Rockets +4.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 109-99 | Win | 100 | 11 h 32 m | Show |
Houston at Denver 9:00 ET Rockets (+) over Nuggets- The Carmelo Anthony saga continues as the Rockets travel to Denver without their 'Super-Star' who is being shipped somewhere (anywhere) which will of course improve Houston immediately and start the decent of some other club. The Rockets won a lead leading 65 games last season with a run and gun offense that only Anthony could destroy. The Nuggets who started 9-1 have dropped their last three folding in the final minutes of their last two losses. Houston was 3-0 against the Nuggets last season and have won seven straight meetings. Houston is 4-3 on the road and with the return of Chris Paul and Clint Capela tonight helps the Rockets win here. Take HOUSTON! |
11-12-18 | Spurs v. Kings +3 | Top | 99-104 | Win | 100 | 11 h 43 m | Show |
San Antonio at Sacramento 10:00 ET Kings (+) over Spurs- It has been over four year since the Kings have posted a win over San Antonio as the Spurs have won 14 straight meetings including their last seven in Sacramento going 5-1-1 ATS. The issue here is that both these clubs have gone through dramatic roster changes as the Spurs are now without Khawi Leonard and have added DeMar DeRozan while the Kings have a slue of young talented faces. Add No. 1 pick Marvin Bagley to go with Willie Cauley-Stein, De' Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield. The Spurs have Rudy Gay, Pau Gasol and Jacob Poelti all questionable. Take SACRAMENTO! |
11-12-18 | Giants v. 49ers -3 | Top | 27-23 | Loss | -118 | 11 h 32 m | Show |
New York Giants at San Francisco 8:15 ET 49ers (-) over Giants- Two of the NFL's bottom feeders pair up in Santa Clara where they question is can anyone here play quarterback? The Giants of course are stuck with lead foot and slow moving Eli Manning who is on pace to set records in total sacks. San Francisco started the season with what they thought was their 'franchise' quarterback in Jimmy Garoppolo and he went down with a season ending injury and C.J. Beathard came in and is now under concussion protocol. That brings us to Nick Mullens who got his chance and played to a 151.9 passer rating in his debut. Believe it or not the Niners are stronger and in a much better position then New York. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
11-12-18 | 76ers v. Heat -2 | Top | 124-114 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 24 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Miami 7:35 ET Heat (-) over 76ers- so far this season Philadelphia has been easy to figure out this season as they are 7-0 straight-up at home and just 1-6 SU on the road and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 road games. Miami has dropped their last two falling apart in the final period twice, losing to the Wizards who outscored the Heat 31-12 in the final stanza and to Indiana late. Dwyane Wade has miss three games because of paternity leave (I didn't even know he was pregnant) but is expected back tonight. Of course the big news tonight is the debut of Jimmy Butler who the Sixers sacrificed 40% of their starting lineup giving up Dario Saric and Robert Covington to get him. Too much of an adjustment and too early...take MIAMI! |
11-11-18 | Hornets +2.5 v. Pistons | Top | 113-103 | Win | 100 | 5 h 51 m | Show |
Charlotte at Detroit 3:30 ET Hornets (+) over Pistons- Detroit has two of the better big men in the games as Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond clean the glass night after night and now they have a pair of unknowns coming off the bench in Stanley Johnson and Langston Galloway making major contributions. The problem for the Pistons is their inconsistency as Griffin is off a six-point performance Friday and they struggle of all places at home where they are 1-5 ATS in their last six home games. Charlotte on the other hand is 6-1 ATS following a straight-up loss. Take the HORNETS! |
11-11-18 | BC +1 v. Hamilton | Top | 8-48 | Loss | -107 | 66 h 16 m | Show |
British Columbia at Hamilton 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Tiger-Cats- These two finished their regular season action on back-to-back weekends at the end of September each holding serve and winning at home (we had the Power Play winner). But, the season has different effects on one club to another as it is a long season (18 games/20 weeks) when these two last met at Hamilton the Tiger-Cats were -6.5 and finished the season 8-10 and now are just a one-point home favorite. British Columbia finished the season 9-9 closing with a pair of losses but that isn't that bad as Hamilton has dropped their last three and five of their last seven. The Tiger-Cats have little home field advantage as they are 2-6 ATS in their last eight at home. Take BRITISH COLUMBIA! |
11-11-18 | Saints v. Bengals +6 | Top | 51-14 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 32 m | Show |
New Orleans at Cincinnati 1:00 Bengals (+) over Saints- New Orleans has established themselves as the front runner in the NFL with their impressive win over the previously undefeated L.A. Rams. The Saints (7-1) have won seven in-a-row since an opening day loss to Tampa Bay and are averaging 35 points per game as Drew Brees leads the NFL in completion percentage (76.3) and passer rating (120.6). Cincinnati is off a bye week and will be without A.J. Green who leads the team in receptions and are 3-6-1 ATS with him in the lineup but will have workhorse Joe Mixon running the ball to keep them in the game. After such a huge win and the disappointment of the Dez Bryant injury I can see some letdown while the Bengals (5-3) who trail Pittsburgh (6-2-1) by a game for the division being very focused after a bye week. Take CINCINNATI! |
11-10-18 | Texas v. Texas Tech +2 | Top | 41-34 | Loss | -110 | 27 h 47 m | Show |
Texas at Texas Tech 4:30 ET Red Raiders (+) over Longhorns- Texas as my 'Free' release broke my heart last Saturday as West Virginia scored the 1-point game winner in the final moment. Texas Tech (+14) was 'our' Top-3 Vegas Hotline winner 46-51 over Oklahoma last week and are ready to win here against a dispirited Longhorns squad who have dominated the series 50-17 but Tech has won two-of-three although they haven't defeated Texas at home since 2008 with Michael Crabtree. The Red Raiders most likely will be without freshman quarterback Alan Bowman and he will be replaced by sophomore Jett Duffy who has game experience. The Longhorns who already are porous on defense lost three more starters last week against the Mountaineers. The 'line' gives this one away. Red Raiders are 5-0 ATS after a SU loss. Take TEXAS TECH! |
11-10-18 | Bucks v. Clippers +3.5 | Top | 126-128 | Win | 100 | 6 h 36 m | Show |
Milwaukee at L.A. Clippers 3:30 ET Clippers (+) over Bucks- The Bucks have a new coach and attitude this season and they have established themselves as a contender as they dismantled Golden State on Thursday. So far this season Milwaukee is 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on a days rest while the Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and took both games from the Bucks last season. Los Angeles has no superstar like the Giannis (The Greek Freak) but the are playing team basketball which has them 4-1 at home overall. Take LOS ANGELES! |
11-10-18 | Washington State v. Colorado +6.5 | Top | 31-7 | Loss | -115 | 43 h 1 m | Show |
Washington State at Colorado 3:30 ET Buffaloes (+) over Cougars- Colorado started the season 5-0 and was fantasizing about competing with the Pac-12 elite (If there are any) as they were 2-0 in conference defeating UCLA and ASU and then 'Oh Lordy' they played next four games and haven't won since. Washington State meanwhile, is 8-1 and has ripped off five straight winners and are 4-0 ATS on the road. Coach Mike Leach said of last weeks narrow 19-13 win over Cal is 'good for teams to play close games.' I hope so Mike because 'we' have the Buffaloes and the points. Colorado will have receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. returns after missing three games all losses and the Buffaloes are 5-1 when he plays. In a tough one take COLORADO! |
11-10-18 | Northwestern v. Iowa -10 | Top | 14-10 | Loss | -105 | 23 h 59 m | Show |
Northwestern at Iowa 3:30 ET Hawkeyes (-) over Wildcats- Okay here we go in Big Ten West Division action where the leader Northwestern (5-1) is a double-digit underdog the (3-3) Hawkeyes in Iowa City. This is because the odds-makers see the Wildcats a step or two below what is expected and their numbers reenforce that belief as they point differential in virtually even. Iowa on the other hand is a plus +12 on a neutral field. This is enhanced when one realizes the Wildcats are 3-0 SU on the road but the visitor is just 2-6 ATS in this series and the favorite is 6-1 ATS. Take IOWA! |
11-09-18 | Fresno State v. Boise State +3 | Top | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 27 h 55 m | Show |
Fresno State at Boise State 10:30 ET Broncos (+) over Bulldogs- One thing that I would bet on here is that this will be a great football game another thing I would bet on is Chip's Pac-12 Game of Year (Sat 3:30). Both teams are well coached, have talent and don't wilt under pressure. Jeff Tedford have the Bulldogs back on the level they held since the 90's when Jim Sweeney and then Pat Hill led the way. Fresno State comes to Albertsons Stadium winners of seven straight while the Broncos have won their last four after a 3-2 start. As much as I like the Bulldogs (and I do) and although they are 7-0 on the MWC road they have lost nine straight in Boise. This is the first time since 1999 at Boise State has been a home conference underdog. Bronco senior quarterback Brett Rypien has won 34 starts and he adds one more tonight. Take BOISE STATE! |
11-09-18 | Sharks -118 v. Blues | Top | 0-4 | Loss | -118 | 8 h 2 m | Show |
San Jose at St. Louis 8:00 ET Sharks over Blues- After a slow start the Blues are starting to see some production out of center Ryan O'Reilly as he has scored in eight straight games. St. Louis has found it difficult to replace the three active players and two draft choices that cost them in that trade. San Jose had their three-game road point streak stopped last night in Dallas and I expect them to start another streak tonight. Take SHARKS! |
11-09-18 | Hornets +6 v. 76ers | Top | 132-133 | Win | 100 | 8 h 55 m | Show |
Charlotte at Philadelphia 7:00 ET Hornets (+) over 76ers- After 5-straight road losses the 76ers posted their first win (Megabucks winner) at Indiana 100-94 Wednesday but are still a force at 6-0 4-2 ATS at home. Charlotte who is led by All-Star Kemba Walker who scores at a 28.1 clip starts a 3-game road trip at Philly and then return to plat the Sixers when they return. The Hornets have lost seven straight in the series including a 105-103 loss at the Wells Fargo Center to start the season. Note that the 76ers are 1-5 ATS following a ATS win. Take CHARLOTTE! |
11-08-18 | Clippers +5 v. Blazers | Top | 105-116 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 12 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Portland 10:00 ET Clippers (+) over Trailblazers- The LA Clippers have had a complete overhaul and the 'newbies' are playing well under coach Doc Rivers doing for the most part predominately on the defensive end. The Clippers hold opponents to 43.2% shooting from the floor with only 32.7% from 3-point range. This is the fifth of a six-game home stand with Portland already 3-1 including a win our 'Highest-Rated' Megabucks winner over the Bucks. LA will be missing Avery Bradley and Luc Moute but play as a team and will overcome the missing parts. Take the CLIPPERS! |
11-08-18 | Panthers v. Steelers -3.5 | Top | 21-52 | Win | 100 | 28 h 31 m | Show |
Carolina at Pittsburgh 8:20 ET Steelers (-) over Panthers- Three weeks ago the Panthers looked dead in the water as they trailed the Super Champions 17-0 in Philadelphia in the fourth quarter and some how managed to score three TD's for a 21-17 Vegas Hotline win. (Haven't had many of those in NFL lately) Well, since they have dominated Baltimore and Tampa Bay wining the last two at home and now take to the road where they are 1-2 SU and ATS. Although Ben Roethlisberger bitches about playing on Thursday's the Steelers are 3-0-1 ATS. Add that Pittsburgh is 5-0 SU last five and 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings. Carolina is tough against the run ranking 8th but it is the Steelers explosive passing attack that they will have to be concerned with. You should be concerned about Chip's Pac-12 Game of Year (7-0 100%) Saturday winner! Take the STEELERS! |
11-08-18 | Oilers v. Panthers -138 | Top | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 25 m | Show |
Edmonton at Florida 7:00 ET Panthers over Oilers- At this time the Panthers are the only NHL clubs without a home win (0-3-1-0) going 0-4 ATS. Edmonton is playing their final of a 4-game road trip and enter Ft. Lauderdale have defeated Florida nine straight times. Goalie Roberto Luongo returns between the pipes for the first time since opening night and the Panthers welcome his presence. Look for a rejuvenated home club and crowd to spell victory. Take FLORIDA! |
11-07-18 | Toledo +3.5 v. Northern Illinois | Top | 15-38 | Loss | -107 | 10 h 11 m | Show |
Toledo at Northern Illinois 8:00 ET Rockets (+) over Huskies- After a slow start 1-3 with losses to Iowa, Utah and at Florida State things looked dim before conference play started. Starting with a win over E. Michigan they have reeled off five straight going 4-1 ATS. Toledo has had some prolific scoring games netting 66, 63, 52 , 51 1n3 45 in their five wins. But, the Rockets are going to have to man up to the level of competition here. The price seems a bit low to me but with the road team going 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings and with the Huskies 1-7 ATS at home against winning teams. Blast off with the ROCKETS and Chip's Pac-12 GOY (7-0 100% ) winner Saturday! Take TOLEDO! |
