10-18-20 | Texans +4 v. Titans | 36-42 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 5 m | Show
Houston (1-4) at Tennessee (4-0) 1:00 ET Texans (+) over Titans- How is that for responding to COVID-19...'play through it' as the Titans did having one practice over 12 days, a team who had 23 +tests and crushed Buffalo on Tuesday 42-16 in a dominating win. Houston posted its 1st win without that Bill O'Brien guy as they can be nothing but better without him as coach. But hey, Romeo Crennel is there. The pressure is on the Texans as the players had their 'coup' and it worked out of the box. Now, they must find a way to contain Ryan Tannehill who in 12-4 16 starts 117.5 rating with the Titans with 31 TS's and 7 Ints. Titans should have bit of a let-down here and Texans are 12-5-1 ATS last 18 meetings. By the Numbers: HT 4-13 ATS on Rd vs winning teams, 0-5 L-5 as dogs, UN 13-6 after SU win. TN 3-7-1 ATS L-11 at Hm, 15-33-3 vs losing teams, OV 8-2 as Fav, OV 9-4 L-13 vs AFC. Take HOUSTON! |
10-18-20 | Ravens v. Eagles +10 | 30-28 | Win | 100 | 18 h 37 m | Show
Baltimore (4-1) at Philadelphia (1-3-1) 1:00 ET Eagles (+) over Ravens- Baltimore has a habit of beating up on the little guys as they did last week against the Bengals allowing just 12 FD's and 200 total yards. Philly is laden with injuries and their offense which averages just 322 yards a game is dead last in turnovers with 11. Ravens are #1 in fewest points allowed surrendering 15.2-points per-game and the Eagles can't run they must I expect something freaky, unexplainable to happen and it's...On the road to victory! Fly, Eagles, Fly! By the Numbers: Eagles a dismal 5-12 as home dog and 1-7 in L-8 at home. UN 19-7 L-26 Hm, UN 12-2 L-14 Hm vs winning record. Balt- UN 6-1 L-7 Hm Fav. Ravens 6-1 ATS L-7, and 12-4 ATS in L-16 overall. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
10-17-20 | Georgia +5 v. Alabama | 24-41 | Loss | -105 | 22 h 59 m | Show
Georgia at Alabama 8:00 ET Bulldogs (+) over Crimson Tide- I loved this matchup the moment I saw it but it has been tinted with Nick Saban missing from the sidelines but that isn't necessarily a bad thing as the Tide have failed in four of their last six head-to-heads for No.1 and he was out-coached badly twice. Both teams are 3-0 with No. 2 Alabama led by NCAA passing leader Matt Jones with a rating of 220.3 (66-of-83) with 8 TD's and only 1 Int. No. 3 Georgia is working their 4th QB choice in a 5'10” junior Steton Bennett who has the No.1 rushing defense (38-yards pg) behind him to establish field position. Bulldogs are 5-1 ATS as underdogs and 17-5 ATS L-22 on the road against teams with a winning record and are 6-2 ATS the last-8. Tide 6-0 ATS after ATS loss. Defense RULES! Take GEORGIA! |
10-17-20 | Boston College v. Virginia Tech -11.5 | 14-40 | Win | 100 | 23 h 32 m | Show
Boston College at Virginia Tech 8:00 ET Hokies (-) over Eagles- Oh boy, boy oh boy...TAKE VIRGINIA TECH. I couldn't keep it 'in' any longer. 'We' played 'against' the Hokies last week as they were dominated by North Carolina and everyone 'loved' them and now this week they are 'poison.' Look at this 'price', silly isn't after all Boston College (3-1) gave the North Carolina all they could handle before falling 26-22 (VHL winner) and the Hokies were blown out by the Tar Heels 56-45 last week. It sets up for me...how about you! VT had players affected by the virus (23 total) but still managed a 45-24 win over NC State with 15 players absent. Kansas transfer running back Khalil Herbert averages 10.4 yards per carry and 150 yards a game for the Gobblers. Take VIRGINIA TECH! |
10-17-20 | North Carolina v. Florida State +13.5 | 28-31 | Win | 100 | 22 h 50 m | Show
North Carolina at Florida State 7:30 ET Seminoles (+) over Tar Heels- Lordy, how the Tar Heels (3-0) have been good to 'us' as 'we' are 3-0 ATS in their three games. Florida State is in chaos (1-3) as they have yet to defeat an FBS school this season but 'covered' their first game last week (+21) 26-42 against Notre Dame. They did show some offensive progress as they totaled 405 yards their season high other than beating Jacksonville State. North Carolina No. 5 had 656 total yards against Virginia Tech last week and are brimming with confidence as a double-digit broad favorite. As good as the Heels are and have looked they will come back to the pack this week and the Seminoles who will start Louisville transfer Jordan Travis are improving will get the cash here. Carolina coach Mack Brown a FSU alumnus is 0-9 lifetime against the Seminoles. Take FLORIDA STATE! |
10-17-20 | Texas A&M v. Mississippi State +5.5 | Top | 28-14 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 1 m | Show |
Texas A&M at Mississippi State 4:00 ET Bulldogs (+) over Aggies- I LOVE this match-up after last weeks results and I can say I rate this one HIGHER than last weeks SEC Game of Month winner Texas A&M OUTRIGHT 41-38 over Florida. Now, we have the Aggies fresh off that upset win and must travel to Starkville to face an angry Bulldog team that has dropped their last two. Mississippi State started the season with a huge 44-34 win over LSU with K.J. Costello (transfer from Stanford) passing for an SEC record 623 yards and dropped their last two to Arkansas and Kentucky. The 24-2 loss to the Wildcats was a joke as the Bulldogs defense allowed just 158 total yards but SIX interceptions did them in. The Aggies are off their upset win over the Gators and battled Alabama the week before, there may not be much fuel let in the tank. Take MISSISSIPPI STATE! |
10-17-20 | Central Florida v. Memphis +3 | 49-50 | Win | 100 | 18 h 8 m | Show
Central Florida at Memphis 3:30 ET Tigers (+) over Panthers- Memphis (1-1) won the first meeting between these two and haven't won since losing 12 straight meetings. Central Florida (2-1) is favored on the road at Memphis (1-1) and I guess I shouldn't be surprised as they have been favored in their last 13 games going 4-9 ATS and are 0-4 ATS their last four in Memphis. The Tigers had last week off and are 20-8 ATS after bye weeks ands are 13-6-1 ATS in their last 20 home games. Panthers QB Dillon Gabriel has NFL written all over him has nine TD's and only two Int's but experienced Memphis QB Brady White is third on Tigers career passing list with 7,970 yards. Take MEMPHIS! |
10-16-20 | BYU v. Houston +5 | Top | 43-26 | Loss | -108 | 11 h 43 m | Show |
BYU at Houston 9:30 ET Cougars (+) over Cougars- HA! Not only is it confusing enough with both teams nicknames the Cougars but the site has been changed from Provo, Utah to Houston. Undefeated BYU (5-0) has had a soft schedule to this point while Houston had five games cancelled before their opener last week a come-back 49-31 win over Tulane after trailing 24-7 at the half. Houston committed five TO's (4 in 1st half) and with explosive talent made a number of 'big plays.' BYU's offense centers around QB Zach Wilson who has accounted for 14 TD's with one TO and 81.2% completions leading the offense to 557 yards a game. Although they were scheduled to play at home BYU is none-the-less 11-5 ATS on 'planned' road games...this one's different. Houston not to be taken lightly is 21-7-1 ATS as home underdogs. Take HOUSTON! |
10-16-20 | SMU v. Tulane +6.5 | 37-34 | Win | 100 | 7 h 16 m | Show
SMU at Tulane 6:00 ET Green Wave (+) over Mustangs- Yeah sure, the Green Wave. After building their half-time 24-7 lead against Houston last Friday, I saw a 'greed wave' of cash turn into ebb tide as 'our' money went south as they were crushed 42-7 in the second half. No.17 SMU is 4-0 and two weeks ago defeated the AAC conference champions Memphis 30-27 led by Texas transfer Shane Buechele was 32 of 46 for 474 yards and is 14-3 as an FBS starter. The Mustangs lost three offensive cogs a pair of top receivers and a starting running back and that hurts the No. 4 ranked offense. Tulane also lost a 24-0 halftime lead against Navy and were out-gained by Houston 476-211. Ponies are just 2-6 ATS as road favorites and 1-5 ATS in last six overall and hey Green Wave is 7-1 ATS in last 8 home games and 5-0 ATS in last 5 as home dogs...Somehow...TULANE! |
10-14-20 | Coastal Carolina v. UL-Lafayette -7.5 | 30-27 | Loss | -105 | 22 h 42 m | Show
Coastal Carolina at Louisiana-Lafayette 7:30 ET Ragin' Cajuns (-) over Chanticleers- Both these clubs are off to great 3-0 starts with Coastal Carolina going 3-0 ATS and the Ragin' Cajuns are 1-2 ATS. But, the difference is between the two is the level of competition that they each have played. The Chanticleers have defeated bottom feeder Kansas (0-3), Campbell (0-4) and Arkansas State (1-2) a combined 1-9. ULL opened the season taking down #20 Iowa State 31-14 and have beaten Georgia State and Georgia Southern who would both bury Kansas, Campbell and maybe split with Arkansas State. These two met last season and the Cajuns romped 48-7 and I don't believe the gap has closed that much and these nasty roosters can't play at this level. Take LOUISIANA-LAFAYETTE! |
10-14-20 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Braves | 15-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 54 m | Show
Atlanta vs L.A. Dodgers 6:05 ET Dodgers over Braves- First off being down 0-2 in a 7-game series is not the end of the world or the series. The key figure tonight will once again not be Clayton Kershaw nor any of the other LA pitchers it will be Atlanta's Kyle Wright (2-4, 5.21 ERA) who is on the hill and has six shutout playoff innings last time out. The NL's leading offensive team has been non-existent (when it counted) against the Braves and so has been everybody else's offensive out put in the post-season. But, now the Dodgers face the very hittable Wright who is 2-7 lifetime the past two seasons with a career ERA of 6.22 and a WHIP of 1.66 (Not Good). The Dodgers came to life a little too late Tuesday scoring seven runs in their final three bat bats but it wasn't enough. Wednesday it will be! Take LOS ANGELES! |
10-13-20 | Bills v. Titans +3.5 | Top | 16-42 | Win | 100 | 17 h 43 m | Show |
Buffalo at Tennessee 7:00 ET Titans (+) over Bills- A pair of undefeated AFC clubs finally meet after COVID test requirements were met. Tennessee has had 23 players or staff test positive affecting their two top receivers Cory Davis and Adam Humphries. Buffalo off a 30-23 win against the Raiders in Las Vegas and is 4-0 with a 2-game division lead. The Titans are 0-3 ATS having won by a grand total of six points winning by 1, 2 and 3 points against the Jaguars, Broncos and Vikings a combined 2-10. The Bills have put it together of late and are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games as favorites and 8-2-2 ATS in their last 12 road games but just 1-3-1 ATS in their last five overall. The Titans versus AFC are 7-2-1 last 10 but just 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 home games and 0-4 ATS in their last four overall. The underdogs is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings. Take TENNESSEE! |
10-12-20 | Chargers v. Saints -6.5 | 27-30 | Loss | -107 | 10 h 43 m | Show
L.A. Chargers at New Orleans 8:15 ET Saints (-) over Chargers- It looks like another season where the Chargers (1-3) will play better than their record would indicate (3-1 ATS) as they seem to show so much promise and potential. L.A's Justin Herbert has shown that he can play and he's getting weekly lessons from NFL quarterback legends Tom Brady last week and Drew Brees this week both on the road. Herbert doesn't have to deal with hostile home crowds and that has aided his ability to function less like a rookie. New Orleans has had some injury issues particularly to Michael Thomas who returned the practice this week while the Chargers had four starters sit out practice this week including Joey Bosa. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
10-11-20 | Vikings +7 v. Seahawks | 26-27 | Win | 100 | 6 h 60 m | Show
Minnesota at Seattle 8:20 ET Vikings (+) over Seahawks- One question will be answered tonight and that is whether the Seahawks (4-0) are as good as they have looked and is Minnesota (1-3) as weak as they appear. The Vikings finally posted their first win last week over the confused Texans 31-23 a win that was very fortunate to say the least. Getting past Russell Wilson is something I have spoken about before and this season he's better than ever with 16 TD passes in four games. Seattle who are without a pair of defensive starters and have ruled out four others for Sunday. Let find out 'How we like hime now'...and Kirk Cousins has a decent day. Take MINNESOTA! |
10-11-20 | Lakers v. Heat +5 | Top | 106-93 | Loss | -100 | 19 h 12 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Miami 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Heat- Yesterday, I didn't believe the Heat would lose again and win out in the series, but reality set in and although LA won the game Game 4 'we' did get the money. Now, we are in a position with Miami it is a chance to win and continue the series or keep it close so that we can get they money and they can go play golf or what ever they do in Miami during the off season. Take MIAMI! |
10-11-20 | Colts +1 v. Browns | Top | 23-32 | Loss | -109 | 17 h 35 m | Show |
Indianapolis at Cleveland 4:25 ET Colts over Browns- This game caught my eye immediately with the Colts being favored in Cleveland with the Browns after an opening week road loss are on a three-game winning streak and totally dominated the Cowboys in Dallas (Money Game winner) last Sunday. Indianapolis's defense is ranked No. 1 but what I hear is that they haven't faced anybody, just four NFL teams. The Browns offense has been spirited by its running game as Baker Mayfield had a 60.8 QB rating as they team scored 49 points,. It won't be the same this week because the Cowgirls defense stinks and Indy's doesn't. Take the COLTS! |
10-11-20 | Dolphins v. 49ers -7.5 | 43-17 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 9 m | Show
Miami at San Francisco 4:05 ET 49er's (-) over Dolphins- From what I have seen out of these two teams this line looks a bit too inviting. I understand Miami is only 1-3 but they have been very competitive going 2-2 ATS as have the Niners. San Francisco will welcome the return of QB Jimmy Grappolo and RB Raheem Mostert who have out the past two games. Playing together will be a work in progress and the Dolphins are their victim as the Niners respond after their home loss to Philadelphia Sunday night (Double-Down winner). Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
10-11-20 | Eagles +8.5 v. Steelers | 29-38 | Loss | -130 | 12 h 14 m | Show
Philadelphia at Pittsburgh 1:00 ET Eagles (+) over Steelers- Soar Eagles Soar that refrain was sung loud and clear last Sunday night as Philadelphia up ended the 49ers in San Francisco (Double-Down winner). Pittsburgh meanwhile had an unscheduled bye missing out on Tennessee and have division games with Cleveland and Baltimore back-to-back. In the past three seasons the Steelers are 15-22 ATS as favorites and the Eagles are 13-8 as underdogs in the same span. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
10-11-20 | Cardinals v. Jets +7.5 | 30-10 | Loss | -120 | 12 h 34 m | Show
Arizona at New York Jets 1:00 ET Jets (+) over Cardinals- I know...how could I? Well, 'we' did have the Giants as a Vegas Hotline winner last week and this week it is the Jets turn. Maybe combined they could go 0-32 SU but somewhere even by accident they might cover the number. But, New York will be starting Joe Flacco at QB the Jets are 0-6 with out Sam Darnold at QB but, Le'Von Bell is scheduled to return to action and he will help relieve some of the pressure on the QB. Are the jets as bad as they look or can they turn it around like in the second half of the 2019 season. A New York player tested a false-positive COVID test Friday but all is well while Arizona is thinking about staying away. Either way the Cardinals will be distracted and the hapless Jets will fly over the birds. Take the NEW YORK J-E-T-S! |
10-11-20 | Bengals v. Ravens -11 | 3-27 | Win | 100 | 11 h 19 m | Show
Cincinnati at Baltimore 1:00 ET Ravens (-) over Bengals- This is where it happens, where Joe Burrow gets his NFL comeuppance as he faces one of the league's best defenses. Cincinnati's No. 1 overall pick has three straight 300-yard games passing for the 1-2-1 Bengals but it's the run game that will betray him. Baltimore allows just 97.5 rushing yards and that including the KC beating. The Bengals are 10-3 ATS as road dogs and the underdog is 9-3 last 12 meetings. But, the are Ravens 9-2 ATS vs the AFC 4-12 ATS last 16 as home favorites. Those trends sort of wash out with a slight advantage to the 'Cats' but Baltimore is in need of a good performance after losing to the Chiefs and sleep-walking through last weeks win over Washington. Take the RAVENS! |
10-10-20 | Miami-FL v. Clemson -14.5 | Top | 17-42 | Win | 100 | 20 h 9 m | Show |
Miami-Fl at Clemson 7:30 ET Tigers (-) over Hurricanes- Doesn't Miami look inviting, I mean they are 3-0 both SU and ATS and have an exciting new offense lead by transfer E'Rick King. Clemson 3-0 SU is 0-3 ATS and just keeps plodding along and of course they understand that this is their first major challenge of the season. The Hurricanes are 2-0 in ACC action as are the Tigers who are 5-2 ATS in the last six meetings in including 18-8 ATS in their last 26 as home favorites. They have also won the last two meetings by a combined score of 96-3 (Yep, that's right)! Hurricanes get blown away...take CLEMSON! |
10-10-20 | Temple v. Navy +3.5 | 29-31 | Win | 100 | 18 h 8 m | Show
Temple at Navy 6:00 ET Midshipmen (+) over Owls- A pair of clubs that I love to win with are facing off in Annapolis with the Navy having a decided advantage. No, not necessarily in talent but in game experience and I game experience this season as Navy (1-2) is playing their fourth game while this will be Temple's season opener. I just saw this same scenario play out with Tulane and Houston but I expect different results. Navy has missed 2,000-yard rusher Malcolm Perry and played with QB Dalen Morris out last week they lost 40-7 to Air Force but he returns this week and so will 14,000 Midshipman that will be attending the game. Take NAVY! |
10-10-20 | Kansas State v. TCU -9 | 21-14 | Loss | -109 | 17 h 44 m | Show
Kansas State at Texas Christian 7:00 ET Horned Frogs (-) over Wildcats- It appears Kansas State made a brilliant hiring Chris Klieman from North Dakota State where he was 69-6 in five seasons and led the Wildcats to eight wins and a bowl berth in his first season. He is 2-0 over Oklahoma as K. State scored 4-straight touchdowns to defeat the Sooners 38-35 and last week they come from behind scoring a pair of fourth quarter TD's and defeated Texas Tech 31-21. TCU is 1-1 having defeated Texas 33-31 in Austin and the win was no fluke as out-gained the Longhorns by about a 100 yards including a 75-yard rushing advantage. Takin a close look at the Wildcats upsets you can see they were out-gained both the Sooners and Red Raiders. Considering Kansas State is 6-1 ATS in their last seven as road underdogs this is a powerful line as TCU is just 6-21 ATS in their last 27 as home favorites. So why is this line so ridiculous other than the fact the Wildcats will be starting true freshman Will Howard. Take TEXAS CHRISTIAN! |
10-10-20 | Texas Tech +11.5 v. Iowa State | Top | 15-31 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 9 m | Show |
Texas Tech at Iowa State 3:00 ET Cyclones (-) over Red Raiders- This is the game that will tell us if Iowa State is for real as they come off an upset of Oklahoma and now are double digit favorites against Texas Tech after defeating the Sooners for the first time at home in Ames in 60 years and 20 straight games. Iowa State has the Big-12 leading rusher in Breece Hall and the winningest quarterback in Cyclone history in Brock Purdy who has a win over all Big-12 opponents. Just an opening week shocker when State lost to La Tech will keep the public away and the price is another factor but in may not matter as the Red Raiders are at the bottom of the conference food chain. Number is high and probably for good reason. Take IOWA STATE! |
10-10-20 | Florida v. Texas A&M +7 | Top | 38-41 | Win | 100 | 40 h 53 m | Show |
Florida at Texas A&M 12:00 ET Aggies (+) over Gators- Listen, I am a Gator fan all the way back to their Steve Spurrier days and I don't mean as a coach but when he was at quarterback. So understand, when I play against them that I have plenty of confidence and this one is really 'special'...special enough that I have used it as my SEC Game of the Month! To tell the truth I will be 'shocked' if A&M doesn't win this game on the field. The Gators will certainly be looking ahead to next week when they play LSU. The Aggies found out what it's like to be up against the 'Big Boys' (Alabama last week) and will last longer ready to win this game 'outright' and much less 'cover. If TEXAS A&M doesn't get the money here I will be honestly be shocked! Take the AGGIES! |
10-09-20 | Heat v. Lakers -7 | 111-108 | Loss | -110 | 49 h 35 m | Show
L.A. Lakers vs Miami 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Heat- Yesterday, I didn't believe the Heat would lose again and win out in the series, but reality set in and although LA won the game 'we' did get the money. But, what it did was relieve any pressure there're might have been on the Lakers and they done feel like messing around with an extra game by not taking care of business tonight. Miami knows where they are and will ailing players in the line-up they will die slowly but surely die. Take LOS ANGELES! |
10-09-20 | Louisville v. Georgia Tech +5.5 | 27-46 | Win | 100 | 8 h 52 m | Show
Louisville at Georgia Tech 7:10 ET Yellow Jackets (+) over Cardinals- To start with this is not going to be a meeting of top quality teams as both are in rebuilding mode. Inexperience and inconsistency has plagued both quarterbacks as the Cardinals Louisville Malik Cunningham (no relation to Richie) has had seven TD passes with five interceptions and Tech's true freshman QB Jeff Sims who has three TD passes with eight picks. Not so good, but he has two excellent running backs and the jackets know how to run the ball (even without Johnson). The Cardinals are just 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 road games and they lost their lone meeting against the Engineers 66-31 in 2018 at Louisville. Take GEORGIA TECH! |
10-08-20 | Bucs v. Bears +4 | Top | 19-20 | Win | 100 | 24 h 58 m | Show |
Tampa Bay at Chicago 8:20 ET Bears (+) over Buccaneers- Tampa Bay is brimming with confidence as well they should be after their come from behind victory over the Chargers storming back behind five Tom Brady TD passes. Brady has attained 'God-like' status among guys that have only known losing...Bucs are 3-1 after an opening week loss and are No. 8 in scoring offense at 30.0 points per and their defense is just about the middle of the Pack at No. 16. The Bears play a stout defense that is ranked No. 8 and their offense should get a boost with Nick Foles being named starter. To a man the Bears have known Foles should be the starter as Chicago finally admits failure in their Trubinsky 'project.' The Bears are 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 as home dogs and the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings Take CHICAGO! |
10-08-20 | Tulane +7 v. Houston | 31-49 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 12 m | Show
Tulane at Houston 7:30 ET Green Wave (+) over Cougars- Talk about being a brides-maid the Houston Cougars have been left holding the bag five time this season because of COVID and this should be their season opener. Tulane who is 2-1 had their opener cancelled and had an opening date last week. Houston has had issues since the last meeting a 38-31 Tulane victory as they lost the QB D'Eriq King who went red-shirt after the loss. That loss dropped the Cougars to 1-3 on their way to 4-8 season. Houston has dominated this series but most of it is past history going 12-4 ATS in the last 16 meetings but they are 3-8 ATS against teams with winning records and this is their opener while the Wave have three games under their belt and that is a huge advantage. Take TULANE! |
10-06-20 | Lakers v. Heat +7.5 | Top | 102-96 | Win | 100 | 10 h 51 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Miami 9:00 ET Heat (+) over Lakers- I could not have more off-base than what I predicted in Game 3 as Miami showed their grit and took it to the Lakers from start to finish winning 115-104. The Heat are brimming with confidence as Jimmy Butler's 'triple-double' wasn't enough of a statement until he boasts 'we won't lose again!' Los Angeles may have something to say about that as they have yet to lose back-to-back games and that may be so but they are 2-8-1 ATS after an ATS loss. Now, like when I hear a pitcher or quarterback say 'it's just another game' when it is more than just another game. The last to say it was Lamar Jackson before the Ravens against Kansas City on Monday night and he got smoked as they always do. In the same vein James says after his eight turnover performance, 'We're not concerned'....he should be! Miami is 14-4 ATS in their last 18 games overall. Enough for me! Take the HEAT! |
10-05-20 | Falcons +7 v. Packers | Top | 16-30 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 17 m | Show |
Atlanta at Green Bay 5:15 ET Falcons (+) over Packers- Why is Dan Quinn still coaching the Atlanta Falcons? Is it because he once got this team to the Super Bowl or does he have Jeffery Epstein type of video of the Falcons brass? It has to be something we are not aware of because since he blew a 28-3 second half lead to the Patriots in the Super Bowl his teams continue to fail with basic fundamentals. I'm wondering what Atlanta who rank 31st of 32 teams on defense can do to stop Aaron Rogers who's offense is ranked No. 2. In order to support the Falcons I have found some trends that might help. How about this Atlanta is 5-1 ATS in their six meetings at Green Bay and they road team is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings plus they are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games. If you want to hear something about the Packers, well they bare 5-1 ATS in their last six as home favorites...Good luck. Take ATLANTA! |
10-05-20 | Patriots +11 v. Chiefs | 10-26 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 31 m | Show
New England at Kansas City 7:05 ET Patriots (+) over Chiefs- So what do we do here? Cam Newton is sidelined and the Patriots and Bill Belichick will go with Brian Hoyer who has never been impressive even at the College level. I don't know if the trends regarding New England have any value with Brady gone but Belichick still remains and the road team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. With or without Newton playing for the Pats KC is 7-0-1 ATS in their last eight home games and 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games overall. It really shouldn't make much difference who runs the Patriots offense as we have seen through the year's QB who won as Brady's replacement. Remember San Cassell or Jimmy 'Crappolo' who performed well as a Belichick back-up although were disappointing in other places. Take NEW ENGLAND! |
10-04-20 | Eagles +7.5 v. 49ers | 25-20 | Win | 100 | 24 h 31 m | Show
Philadelphia at San Francisco 8:20 ET Eagles (+) over 49ers- How bad can the 0-3 Eagles actually be? If we start with their quarterbacking it is noted that Carson Wentz has the lowest QB rating (63.9) of any starting NFL QB. He has thrown six interceptions with just one TD pass and has been sacked 11 times. San Fran is without a number of starters including Jimmy 'Crappolo' who is being replaced by NickMullins who had a wonderful time against the Giants last week winning 36-9. The Niners have two wins over the Jets (0-4) and Giants (0-3) but are just 2-6 ATS in their last eight meetings with Philly and just 7-19-1 ATS as home favorites. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
10-04-20 | Lakers -9.5 v. Heat | Top | 104-115 | Loss | -107 | 20 h 20 m | Show |
Miami vs L.A. Lakers 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Heat- Okay Miami has given it the 'old college try'...but will fall short and the Lake Show is just beginning. With all the injuries growing The Heat have cooled off and LA is primed to sweep the series. Lebron as I said before is on a mission and will not be denied and along with Anthony Davis who has never been a winner in the pro ranks and came to LA for this sole purpose. I could go on with all kinds of numbers both good and bad on either side but it's just a matter of the Lakers finishing business. Take LOS ANGELES LAKERS! |
10-04-20 | Giants +13.5 v. Rams | 9-17 | Win | 100 | 20 h 14 m | Show
New York Giants at L.A. Rams 4:25 ET Giants (+) over Rams- This could be a long day if the 'new' Rams show up and the usual Giants. The last time I saw these two foes facing each other in New York the Giants defenders didn't face anybody as they actually ram away from receivers after they caught the ball (honest) and the Rams crushed 51-17. But as bad as New York is and has been they are actually 13-3 ATS in their last 16 road games and 4-1 ATS following a ATS loss and believe it or not the are Giants 8-1 ATS over LA in the last nine meetings. Take NEW YORK GIANTS! |
10-04-20 | Seahawks v. Dolphins +6 | Top | 31-23 | Loss | -115 | 17 h 16 m | Show |
Seattle at Miami 1:00 ET Dolphins (+) over Seahawks- I don't mean to laugh because so many of those I know took the Cowboys last week against Seattle and were burned once again by late heroics by Russell Wilson who threw five more TD's giving him 14 in just three games. Now, Wilson travels East to play in Miami and he breaks that west to east crap as he is 8-0 SU and ATS in the ET zone. Now, that's been great for the Seahawks but their defense has allowed 1,292 yards passing more than any other team in the NFL. Miami meanwhile posted their first double-digit win in 39 games defeating Jacksonville 31-13 on last Thursday night, that gives the Dolphins four extra days and they will be healthy. Like I said before and the reason I stayed away from taking Dallas last week is that it is so hard getting past Russell Wilson as they are 12-4-1 ATS in their last 17 road games and 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven as favorites. But, Seattle is only 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings against the Dolphins and the Dolphins are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and 4-1 ATS in their last five as dogs. Take MIAMI! |
10-04-20 | Browns +4 v. Cowboys | 49-38 | Win | 100 | 17 h 3 m | Show
Cleveland at Dallas 1:00 ET Browns (+) over Cowboys- 'There's something rotten in Denmark'...either this is the biggest sucker play of the season or the Cowboys get beat outright. Really, honestly...the bookmaker makes Dallas a meager 4.5-point favorites against one of the worst ATS teams in NFL history who are 0-7 ATS in their last seven road games including their 38-6 blowout loss at Baltimore where they failed to score a touchdown. So bad have the Browns been that they are 17-39-1 ATS in their last 57 games as underdogs. But hey, the Cowboys have been money burner and well as they are 4-9 ATS at home as favorites and 2-8 ATS against teams with winning records. It's all about this 'price' way to inviting. Take CLEVELAND! |
10-04-20 | Cardinals v. Panthers +3.5 | 21-31 | Win | 100 | 16 h 24 m | Show
Arizona at Carolina 1:00 ET Panthers (+) over Cardinals- Carolina ended a franchise 10-game losing streak by taking down the Chargers last week led by QB Teddy Bridgewater who provided Matt Ruhle with his first NFL victory. The Panthers won despite settling for five field goals in the red zone. Arizona was upended by Detroit at home and their defensive weakness was exposed especially because injuries have depleted the Safety position as their two starter didn't practice Wednesday. Ruhle has made adjustments on offense as this is the first home game for the Panthers without running back Christian McCaffrey and has opened his offense with a group of young playmakers. Take CAROLINA. |
10-04-20 | Saints v. Lions +3 | 35-29 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 41 m | Show
New Orleans at Detroit 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Saints- People are speaking how Tom Brady has lost some zip on the ball and most haven't noticed that Drew Brees has lost more velocity on his throws. New Orleans has other concerns as well with four starters having missed practice on Wednesday and their playing status is up in the air. Detroit is coming off their first win a 26-23 victory at Arizona aided by newly acquired running back Adrian Peterson who averaged 4.9 yards a carry. The Saints are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings, 4-1 ATS as road favorites and 11-4 ATS overall. The Lions really have little to brag about as they are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games as home underdogs and 3-11 ATS in their last 14 games overall. That all is ready to change. Take DETROIT! |
10-03-20 | Auburn v. Georgia -7 | Top | 6-27 | Win | 100 | 20 h 11 m | Show |
Auburn at Georgia 7:30 ET Bulldogs (-) over Tigers- Love the match-up and believe this is my strongest release of the college football season. It's being said that Georgia's quarterback position is not settled while Auburn is fixed with Bo Nix last year's SEC Freshman of the Year. (He's Over-rated!) The Bulldogs who are known for their ground game totaled just 121 yards at 2.9 per attempt but held Arkansas to 280 total yards in their (-27.5) 37-10 win. Georgia has won the last six meetings 6-0 SU and 6-0 ATS at home and are 13-3 ATS after a ATS loss and they are 17-8 ATS against teams with winning records. The Tigers may be 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games overall but one of those losses was to the Bulldogs last season and finally the favorite is 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings. Take GEORGIA! |
10-03-20 | Oklahoma v. Iowa State +8 | 30-37 | Win | 100 | 20 h 43 m | Show
Oklahoma at Iowa State 7:30 ET Cyclones (+) over Sooners- In another time and another season when things could be different last weeks upset of Oklahoma by Kansas State (+28.5) 38-35 would be one for the ages. The Sooners blew two 21-point leads and now must run the table to have a shot at the final four. Oklahoma has won 20 of the last 21 meetings SU and 24 consecutive games in Ames. Iowa State was also upset as a heavy favorite laying -14 and losing outright 31-13 to Louisiana-Lafayette in their opener and came back to win SU last week as a beaten-favorite (-3.5) winning 37-34 despite giving up over 500 yards and 27 FD's while getting just 14. I now see the problem with this game is that I am trying to make a case for the Cyclone and that's not easy. So, I'll do my best. OU is 4-12 ATS after allowing less than 100 yards rushing ( How bout that one...a nugget) and 2-6 ATS as favorites 2-7 ATS against teams with losing records. I got more as Iowa State is 5-1 ATS in their last six as a home underdog and 4-0 ATS against the Sooners in the last four meetings and finally they are 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 as an underdog. We have one thing going for 'us' the public and even sharps and wiseguys are 'on' the Sooners. Take IOWA STATE! |
10-03-20 | Virginia Tech v. Duke +13 | 38-31 | Win | 100 | 16 h 55 m | Show
Virginia Tech at Duke 4:00 ET Blue Devils (+) over Hokies- How about this? Virginia Tech opened the season ranked in the Top-20, they played and won their first game with 23 players and four coaches out due to positive COVID-19 test results and they went out and defeated NC State 45-24. their reward was getting dropped in the rankings...go figure. The Blue Devils have been a turnover machine to the point that they should be called 'Red' Devils because the put themselves in a hole that they can not recover from. Duke although having slippery hands so far this season is 11-3-1 ATS in their last 15 home games as underdogs and the underdog is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. Take DUKE! |
10-03-20 | Texas A&M +18.5 v. Alabama | 24-52 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 50 m | Show
Texas A&M at Alabama 3:30 ET Aggies (+) over Crimson Tide- These ranked SEC teams are already 1-0 in Conference but getting there using different paths. Alabama jumped out to an early lead against Missouri 38-3 before calling off the dogs with their ATS loss 38-19 but SU win, while A&M struggled from start to finish defeating lowly Vanderbilt 17-12. The Tide have dominated the series winning seven straight since the Aggies last win when Johnny Manziel preformed his heroics. Texas A&M seems to respond after poor offensive showings going 10-2 ATS after scoring less than 20 points. Some stats on Alabama as they are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 SEC games and are 4-9 ATS after a SU win as well as 1-6 ATS at home against a team with a winning road record. Take TEXAS A&M! |
10-03-20 | North Carolina v. Boston College +14.5 | 26-22 | Win | 100 | 15 h 15 m | Show
North Carolina at Boston College 3:30 ET Eagles (+) over Tar Heels- We opened with a win with North Carolina (-24.5) 31-6 over Syracuse in a game they led 10-6 entering the fourth quarter and tallied three TD's for final margin. Since that impressive win Carolina has had three weeks to cool their heels and that's probably what has happened. Boston College is 2-0 and 1-1 ATS defeating Duke getting five turnovers and sneaking by Texas State 24-21 as a 21.5-point favorite with a 36-yard field goal with :03 seconds left. The Tar Heels are 5-0 ATS in their last five games as favorites and 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. Under-rated Boston College has some impressive trends that can't be over-looked. They are 14-5-1 ATS in their last 20 as underdogs including 4-1 ATS in their last five as home dog they are also 19-6-1 ATS in ACC play and finally they are 18-7-1 ATS after an ATS win. Take BOSTON COLLEGE! |
10-02-20 | Heat +10 v. Lakers | 114-124 | Push | 0 | 11 h 35 m | Show
Miami vs L.A. Lakers 9:00 ET Heat (+) over Lakers- After their Game 1 debacle Miami finds themselves in an even deeper hole than they could have imagined as they will be without two of their main cogs. Injuries to guard Goran Dragic and center Ben Adebayo have left the Heat short-handed and they need every bit of manpower to deal with the Lakers superior inside play. LA out rebounded Miami 54-36 in Game 1 and I'm sure the Heat will make some adjustments. The line has been adjusted from 4.5 to 9.5 and will probably go higher. Take MIAMI! |
09-30-20 | Heat v. Lakers -4.5 | Top | 98-116 | Win | 100 | 22 h 50 m | Show |
Miami vs L.A. Lakers 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Heat- The Heat won their last NBA Championship in 2013, their second of back-to-back titles over San Antonio and were led of course by LeBron James and I must give him props returning to the Finals once again. Miami like Los Angeles has won 12 of 15 playoff games and will have to measure up to the bigger Lakers inside by being more physical. L.A. has scored 44-points per game in the paint shooting 71% both leagues highs by wide margins. The Heat will need for their outside shooters to be on the mark to compete and they will use a 2-3 to stack the paint but, it won''t matter as LeBron is still muttering about the 'disrespectful' MVP vote. Take the LAKERS! |
09-28-20 | Chiefs v. Ravens -3 | Top | 34-20 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 10 m | Show |
Kansas City at Baltimore 8:15 ET Ravens (-) over Chiefs- The two best AFC clubs clash on this Monday night and the quarterback matchup is intriguing with Pat Mahomes arm and Lamar Jackson's legs. Baltimore who has lost the last two meetings by a total of eight points including a 33-28 win in Week 3 last season is 9-1 ATS in their last 10 versus the AFC. Kansas City as Super Bowl Champs has so trend support as well going 9-1-1 ATS as road underdogs and 12-5-1 ATS in their last 18 road games overall. The Ravens have the NFL's best five takeaways in two games against the Browns and Texans and have won 14 consecutive regular season games. In what should be a good one the edge here goes to the home team with revenge. Take BALTIMORE! |
09-27-20 | Packers v. Saints -3 | 37-30 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 1 m | Show
Green Bay at New Orleans 8:20 ET Saints (-) over Packers- What a great match-up of future Hall of Fame quarterbacks and perfect for the NFL Sunday Night showcase. Green Bay 2-0 of course will have Aaron Rogers leading the way shouting, 'Did you really draft a quarterback in the first round'. He as 604 yards passing with six TD's and zero Ints. Drew Brees the NFL's All-time leading passer is starting to show his age as 64.7 percent completion rate will attest. Brees and the Saints 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and New Orleans is 27-13-1 ATS against teams with winning records. Take the SAINTS! |
09-27-20 | Celtics -3 v. Heat | Top | 113-125 | Loss | -103 | 8 h 38 m | Show |
Miami vs Boston 7:30 ET Celtics (-) over Heat- The Celtics have managed to survive their own attitude and now are two wins away from the NBA Finals. Boston had to make some adjustments as Miami came out determined in this series pushing the Celts to the brink of elimination. But, Boston survived and now have the psychological edge, as they have regained their confidence and are 24-9 ATS as playoff favorites. The Heat have been tough but are just 5-11 ATS versus Boston. Take the4 CELTICS! |
09-27-20 | Lions +6 v. Cardinals | 26-23 | Win | 100 | 22 h 50 m | Show
Detroit at Arizona 4:25 ET Lions (+) over Cardinals- yep, 'we' got'em...the Detroit Lions and they are truly ugly while the Cardinals look so pretty at 2-0. Arizona's next three opponents have yet to win a game (0-6) and the Lions are dealing with other personal issues (always among losers). The Red Birds have committed a league high 20 penalties. When looking for positive points to support my selection of the Lions one of the best things I can say is that the underdog is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. Arizona who have caught the public's eye are just 6-15 ATS in their last 21 games as home favorites. Take DETROIT! |
09-27-20 | Titans v. Vikings +3 | Top | 31-30 | Win | 100 | 19 h 2 m | Show |
Tennessee at Minnesota 1:00 ET Vikings (-) over Titans- 'How do you like me now' is struggling a bit and the 0-2 Vikings as Kirk Cousins QB rating sits at 15.9 as he has been sacked for a safety in each of this seasons games. Tennessee (2-0) is rolling behind Ryan Tannehill who had four TD passes and zero interceptions in last weeks 33-30 win over Jacksonville. But, the Titans don't seem to get 'up' teams with losing records as they are 7-18-1 ATS on the road against teams below .500. Minnesota on the flip side is 17-5-1 ATS as a home underdog and are 37-17-1 ATS in their last 55 home games. Take MINNESOTA! |
09-27-20 | Texans +4.5 v. Steelers | Top | 21-28 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 51 m | Show |
Houston at Pittsburgh 1:00 ET Texans (+) over Steelers- Ha! They are doing it to me again. Setting up a situation where I can't help but be on the Texans (0-2) and Bill O'Brien last meeting 34-6 Christmas Day 3-years ago Pittsburgh is 8th in defensive yards allowed but have been up against a pair of pushovers in the Giants and Broncos. Houston is ranked 22nd on offense but have been up against the AFC's best in Kansas City ands Baltimore. Texans 8-1 ATS after a double-digit home loss. And 10-3-1 ATS after an ATS loss. Pittsburgh 2-6 ATS as home favorites but 4-1 ATS in last five meetings. Still, it is HOUSTON! |
09-27-20 | Bears +3.5 v. Falcons | 30-26 | Win | 100 | 18 h 21 m | Show
Chicago at Atlanta 1:00 ET Bears (+) over Falcons- What a choice...two clubs that have been major disappointments to their backers. Chicago took a 17-0 halftime lead over the Giants only to go scoreless in the 2nd half and fell against the points with a late New York back-door cover TD. Atlanta QB Matt Ryan has been great with a 109.6 passer rating throwing for six tD's and 723 yards with one INT. The problem fore the Falcons is that Dan Quinn know more about losing than about winning as they are 207 ATS in their last games at home when favored. Chicago has had their way against Atlanta going 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. Take CHICAGO! |
09-26-20 | Nuggets v. Lakers -5 | 107-117 | Win | 100 | 10 h 18 m | Show
L.A. Lakers vs Denver 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Nuggets- Los Angeles up 3-1 in this series are well aware of Denver's resolve and determination not to quit. Trailing 3-1 in the past two series against the Jazz and Clippers the Nuggets managed to overcome to odds and win both series to face the Lakers in the Western Finals. The Lakers as a franchise have not lost a playoff series in which they lead 2-0 since 1969 when the lost to the Celtics. This time they will not need the dramatics...Take LOS ANGELES! |
09-26-20 | Florida State +11.5 v. Miami-FL | 10-52 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 51 m | Show
Florida State at Miami-Fl 7:30 ET Seminoles (+) over Hurricanes- Oh boy, I don't want to get too over-board on this one. Having used Maim as out Megabucks winner over Louisville last week and watching Florida State blow a 10-point lead I though that this would be great opponent for them as this is one of the bigger rivalry game of the southeast. Miami under Manny Diaz is looking to re-established their tarnished football reputation and are clicking with transfer QG D'Eriq King from Houston my be the answer but the Seminoles would like to a part of the conversation. Like the Hurricanes Florida State has left much to be desired moving from to Mike Norvell who the players have already had a protest about. So bad for FSU as they are 0-4 ATS in their last four and 7-15-3 ATS in their last 25 conference games while the hurricanes have had their own issues and consistency is one of them as they are 8-17 ATS after totaling more than 450 yards the previous week. But. I was saving the best for last and that is the underdog is 15-3 ATS in the last 18 meetings and the Seminoles and 6-1 ATS in their last seven in Miami and even that the road team is 12-2 ATS in the last 14 meetings. PS – FSU coach Norville might miss the game because of COVID restrictions and that might be a good thing. Take FLORIDA STATE! |
09-26-20 | Alabama v. Missouri +29 | 38-19 | Win | 100 | 21 h 9 m | Show
Alabama at Missouri 7:00 ET Tigers (+) over Crimson Tide- My buddy George from New York who now lives in Las Vegas is probably the the most bias fan anyone has ever met and it's pro east coast. Now, that his son is a Alabama student, it's 'Go Tide, Roll Tide and I'm drowning with him being so high on Tide. But, all in good fun he doesn't NOT gamble but, he has the worst opinion of anyone I've ever met. Be it college or pro football he knows enough to have no clue, so I use him as a gage often comparing him with the famous Jerry of Long Beach. This is the SEC and season opener and No. 2 Alabama is a 4-TD favorite at Missouri. The Tigers who were 0-6 ATS in their final six games in 2019 had the No. 14 in ranked total defense last year. It's early and if there is ever a time to play against the Tide it's early and late in the season! I hope they are ebbing here. Take MISSOURI! |
09-26-20 | Duke +4.5 v. Virginia | 20-38 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 56 m | Show
Duke at Virginia 4:00 ET Blue Devils (+) over Cavaliers- After having Daniel Jones and Quintin Harris quarterbacking the past two seasons Duke Head coach David Cutcliffe expected more form former Clemson backup Chase Brice. The Blue Devils are 0-2 scoring just 19 points, 13-27 in a loss (cover) to Notre Dame and then getting ambushed by Boston College 6-26 as a 3.5-point favorite. This is Virginia's first game of the season and with a pair of games under their belt the Blue Devils have a major advantage. Turnover were Duke's nemesis as they have committed seven in two games but they bare 11-5 in their last 26 as underdogs and although they have struggled in this series the dog is 4-1 ATS in the past five meetings. The Cavaliers may be over -confident after watching film as they are 1-5 ATS against teams with a losing record. Take DUKE! |
09-26-20 | Army v. Cincinnati -12.5 | Top | 10-24 | Win | 100 | 18 h 60 m | Show |
Army at Cincinnati 3:30 ET Bearcats (-) over Black Knights- Both of these clubs are ranked in the Top-25 but they have come from different directions. The Army ranked No. 22 was 5-8 last season and are 2-0 after beating powerhouses Middle Tennessee State and Louisiana-Monroe outscoring them 79-7. No. 16 Cincinnati is off of a pair of 11-win seasons and return 16 starters. The true reason the Cadets received a Top-25 ranking is because of a number of other conferences that haven't played yet. The Knights are 0-20 against ranked opponents. Army is 1-4 in their last five road games and 1-5 ATS against a team with a winning record. Bearcats 6-2 ATS in last eight home games. Take CINCINNATI! |
09-26-20 | West Virginia v. Oklahoma State -6.5 | 13-27 | Win | 100 | 17 h 19 m | Show
West Virginia at Oklahoma State 3:30 ET Cowboys (-) over Mountaineers- Oklahoma State under coach Mike Gundy have not been know for their defense but, after losing quarterback Spencer Sanders it was just that. The Cowboys defense was dominant in their opening victory over Tulsa keeping the Golden Hurricane from converting on third downs (0-12) and allowing just 278 total yards. On offense OSU used three different QB's and their lack of efficiency allowed Tulsa to key on Chuba Hubbard who had only 93 yards rushing after averaging over 170 on the ground last season. West Virginia crushed a dismal FCS Eastern Kentucky team 56-10 and led 42-7 at the half. They will find the going a lot tougher this week. The Mountaineers have traditionally be weak on the road even when they have 'good' teams but the are just 4-9 ATS as a road dog and 5-15-2 ATS in their last 22 games as an underdog and 0-4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. After last week's poor offensive effort I expect more from the Cowboys this week as they are 5-0 ATS in their last five games after scoring less then 20 points. Ok. St. is 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games against teams with winning records. Take OKLAHOMA STATE! |
09-24-20 | Lakers -6 v. Nuggets | Top | 114-108 | Push | 0 | 11 h 58 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Denver 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Nuggets- Will the real L.A. Lakers please stand-up! After taking a 2-0 lead over Denver when it looked as though the Nuggets couldn't handle the 'Lakesters' big two of Lebron James and Anthony Davis. But, this 'Mile-High City' club just doesn't quit and we have seen that as the recovered from 3-1 deficits against both Utah and the Clippers. LA has struggled withy Denver during the regular season going just 10-21 ATS in the last 31 meetings, but that is regular season action. Denver is 5-1 ATS in the Playoffs as an underdog. Still, one sure thing about these NBA Playoffs just when you think a team is 'done' they will bounce back. It doesn't look like the Lakers could cover a pot with a lid but of course this pot has gold in it. Take LOS ANGELES! |
09-24-20 | Dolphins +3 v. Jaguars | Top | 31-13 | Win | 100 | 20 h 27 m | Show |
Miami at Jacksonville 8:20 ET Dolphins (+) over Jaguars- Quarterbacks Ryan Fitzpatrick of Miami and Gardner Minshew of Jacksonville are having a verbal sparing match about their respective beards and mustaches. All in good fun they say but the fun ends Thursday night as the Jaguars are a same favorite. Before the season began Jacksonville was considered one of the worst teams in the NFL and after a pair of games they are being touted by the same people that said 'they stink' two weeks ago. Miami is 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games overall and 7-2 ATS after a straight-up loss. The Jaguars are 4-1 ATS in their last five but just 2-6 ATS as favorites including 1-4 ATS as hosts when favored. Take MIAMI! |
09-23-20 | Celtics v. Heat +3.5 | Top | 109-112 | Win | 100 | 10 h 46 m | Show |
Boston and Miami 8:30 ET Heat (+) over Celtics- Okay, Miami is up 2-1 in games but the stats between the clubs are virtually dead even from points, to rebounds to assists and free throws. Then what will be the difference maker today...it's Jimmy Butler! Teams this deep in the playoffs should have positive trends and they both do. Boston is 23-8-1 ATS in their last 32 playoffs games although they are just 1-4 ATS in their last five in the Conference Finals. Miami is 10-2 ATS in the playoffs including their loss on Saturday and the Heat are an amazing 24-8-2 (75%) after a straight-up loss. Defense is the key as the Heat play it better. Take MIAMI! |
09-22-20 | Lakers -6.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 106-114 | Loss | -107 | 11 h 41 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Denver 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Nuggets- Los Angeles up 2-0 in this series are well aware of Denver's resolve and determination not to quit. Trailing 3-1 in the past two series against the Jazz and Clippers the Nuggets managed to overcome to odds and win both series to face the Lakers in the Western Finals. The Lakers as a franchise have not lost a playoff series in which they lede 2-0 since 1969 when the lost to the Celtics. LA was up double figures in the fourth but needed a buzzer beater bye Anthony Davis to get by. This time they will not need the dramatics...Take LOS ANGELES! |
09-21-20 | Saints v. Raiders +6 | Top | 24-34 | Win | 100 | 10 h 20 m | Show |
New Orleans at Las Vegas 8:15 ET Raiders (+) over Saints- The storybook line for the NFL is that the Raiders were to be welcomed to Las Vegas with gala parties and events for their first ever NFL game in Sin City. The new $2 billion Allegiant Stadium was to be rocking! Now, the Saints who come from a 'party' city of their own and pleased they won't have to deal with 70,000 crazed Raiders fans. But, Drew Brees will have to deal with John Gruden who believes he has his best team since joining the club two season's ago and he knows how to gain the spot-light. Take LAS VEGAS! |

09-20-20 | Patriots +4 v. Seahawks | 30-35 | Loss | -108 | 30 h 15 m | Show
New England at Seattle 8:20 ET Patriots (+) over Seahawks- I said it last week when the Seahawks were ready to line it up against the falcons that I just 'Hate' playing against Russell Wilson (this guy kills me) and what does he do, goes 31-of 35 for 322 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. After such an outrageous performance in Atlanta I was surprised that this game opened -3.5 as the book maker is giving the Patriots plenty of respect. New England was a different team last week and virtually when to the 'single-wing' with quarterback Cam Newton running 15 times for a franchise QB rushing record of 75 yards. When Cam Newton carries the ball 10 or more time he is 27-7-1 SU. Always well prepared New England is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 on the road and 5-1 ATS as a road dog. Take NEW ENGLAND! |
09-20-20 | Nuggets v. Lakers -7.5 | 103-105 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 0 m | Show
Denver vs L.A. Lakers 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Nuggets- You know I'm not a big fan of the media as I think most of what they do is self-serving and often way too bias and not always in the political arena. Now, 'they' have gone too far, now they have done something so egregious that I doin't know if the Denver Nuggets can ever survive. LeBron James is 'pissed off' that he only received 16 first-place votes for MVP placing him second behind Giannis Antetokounmpo. James claims placing second isn't the issue...'Okay, but only 16 votes'. I still believe there no greater honor then being voted into an All-Star Game or receiving an award like this (MVP) than being selected by your peers. That's the respect you want the truth for you opponents. So, now the Nuggets will pay the price as LeBron take revenge on the world. I really think this series is over and Denver will be lucky to win one game...Take LOS ANGELES! |
09-20-20 | Ravens v. Texans +8.5 | Top | 33-16 | Loss | -130 | 17 h 44 m | Show |
Baltimore at Houston 4:25 ET Texans (+) over Ravens- How, ugly can it get...I mean for 'us' as the bettor. Gosh, I hate Jim O'Brien, no nothing to do with him personally I just mean his coaching and judgement during a game. Houston was pounded once again by Kansas City in their opener and now return home with a scatter arm Deshaun Watson at quarterback and little receiving talent. Baltimore...ah wins 38-6 over the Browns as Lamar Jackson threw for three TD's going 20 of 25 while rushing for 79 yards. The last time these two met in November 2019 the ravens crushed 41-7 as Watson was sacked six times passing for only 169 yards. This is the Texans home opener and the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meeting |
09-20-20 | Chiefs v. Chargers +10 | 23-20 | Win | 100 | 17 h 35 m | Show
Kansas City at L.A. Chargers 4:25 ET Chargers (+) over Chiefs- The Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs will help the L.A. Chargers make their SoFi Stadium debut. The Rams already christened the venue with a win over Dallas last Sunday night and I expect the same kind of results for the Bolts in their home opener. While the Chiefs stomped Houston last week Los Angeles was lucky to escape with a win at Cincinnati only before the bengals still stink despite Burrow's talents. The numbers don't bode well for the Chargers as they are 0-7 ATS in their last seven meetings as hosts and the road team is 12-3-1 ATS in the last 16. KC is 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 as favorites and 21-8-1 ATS on the road. Hey although the Chargers are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 as home underdogs and they are 7-3-2 ATS overall in their last 12 as a dog. Lighting strikes and CHARGERS bolt to a win. Take LOS ANGELES! |
09-20-20 | Vikings v. Colts -3 | 11-28 | Win | 100 | 13 h 5 m | Show
Minnesota at Indianapolis 1:05 ET Colts (-) over Vikings- The reason Phillip Rivers is now quarterbacking in Indianapolis in stead of with the Chargers is that he threw 18 interceptions and in his opening game for the Colts he threw for 363 yards and a TD but alas, he hd two interceptions in their disappointing loss to Jacksonville. Minnesota meanwhile, was totally outclassed by Green Bay and had its secondary shredded for 364 yards by Aaron Rogers. This is Rivers home debut with Indy and I'm sure he will be prepared. The Vikings are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games as underdogs and 2-6 ATS as road dogs while the colts are 5-2-1 ATS after a loss. Take INDIANAPOLIS! |
09-20-20 | Lions +6.5 v. Packers | 21-42 | Loss | -115 | 12 h 20 m | Show
Detroit at Green Bay 1:05 ET Lions (+) over Packers- Golly, how I hate playing on the Detroit Lions team as they are poorly coached and have a QB that just doesn't win against the better teams. He has beaten Green bay just five times in 20 career starts against the Packers and here they are after blowing a 17-point fourth quarter lead at home to the Bears. I mean under Matt Patricia the Lions are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 overall and it appears they are regressing. Detroit had veteran Adrian Peterson debut by running for 93 yards while Matt Stafford continues to disappoint but tin a surprise effort he Lions roar here. Take DETROIT! |
09-19-20 | Miami-FL +3 v. Louisville | Top | 47-34 | Win | 100 | 22 h 26 m | Show |
Miami at Louisville 7:30 ET Hurricanes (+) over Cardinals- Both these clubs opened with non-conference win last week as Louisville dispatched Western Kentucky 35-21 and Miami took down UAB 31-14. The Cardinals should have revenge on their minds after getting destroyed 55-27 in Miami last season. The hurricanes were only 7-7 last season and torched the Louisville defense for six TD passes. Yet, Miami wasn't that good last year and have transfer D'Eriq King from Houston and his quick feet and passing remind many of Kyler Murray now with Arizona Cardinals. Miami is looking to rebuild their programs football reputation and it continues here. Take the HURRICANES! |
09-19-20 | Central Florida -7.5 v. Georgia Tech | 49-21 | Win | 100 | 18 h 5 m | Show
Central Florida at Georgia Tech 3:30 ET Panthers (-) over Yellow Jackets- Georgia Tech pull off an opening week 16-13 upset win over Florida State as a 16-point underdogs. It isn't as though the Engineers dominated the game and more like the Seminoles are still really bad. Even after that win Tech is just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games as underdogs and 0-6 ATS in their last six non-conference games. Central Florida is 4-1 in n on-conference games and will be welcoming the return of Dillon Gabriel at quarterback and as a true freshman threw for a record setting 3,653 yards. Look for USF to exploit the poor Tech kicking game as they had two-extra points and a field goal blocked last week. Take CENTRAL FLORIDA! |
09-19-20 | South Florida v. Notre Dame -23.5 | 0-52 | Win | 100 | 17 h 23 m | Show
South Florida at Notre Dame 2:30 ET Fighting Irish (-) over Bulls- Last week 'we' faded Notre Dame by taking Duke +20 and won 'covering' 13-27 which was their ACC debut. South Florida also posted a 27-6 win over The Citadel who may be the weakest team in college football and still the Bulldogs who were only 4-18 passing for 84 yards but were able to run for 200 yards on 54 carries. The Bulls close3d last season with four straight losses and Charlie Strong was given his walking papers; and replaced by Jeff Scott who is going to find out what a beating under the Golden Dome is like...He won't like it! Take NOTRE DAME! |
09-18-20 | Nuggets v. Lakers -7 | Top | 114-126 | Win | 100 | 11 h 33 m | Show |
Denver vs L.A. Lakers 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Nuggets- Denver has accomplished a feat never done before in the NBA and that is win two separate playoff series after trailing three games to one. After defeating the LA Clippers 104-89 in Game 7 in which they held the Clippers scoreless for seven minutes in the final quarter and kept Kawhi Leonard and Paul George with a point in the fourth quarter. Denver is playing in their first conference Final since 2009 when they fell to the Lakers in six games. The Nuggets are 19-9 ATS in the last 28 meetings but LA is 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall. These two are used to playing high scoring games as the total between these two is 20-7-2 to the Over. Take the LAKERS! |
09-17-20 | Bengals v. Browns -6 | Top | 30-35 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 7 m | Show |
Cincinnati at Cleveland 8:20 ET Browns (-) over Bengals- I can hear it now 'Don't do it...they stink, they are are clown show.' Yep all that is true (especially if you are thinking Odell BeckHAM)! Last season the Browns were the media's and public's dark horse choice and the failed miserably. After Sundays' 38-6 beating by Baltimore I believe many have 'supporters' already jumped ship in 2020. Cincinnati should have make winner of Joe Burrow but his teammates we must understand are losers and committing a penalty on what would have been a winning play and then missing the tying field goal on consecutive plays as that is what losers do. Now for Cleveland, think about the opening line in this game, it was -8. So, it's bet done to -6 and still might go lower because no one wants any part of the Browns. But, the point I want to make is Cleveland is favored my more points this week than they score in the entire game last week against the Ravens. Don't that make you question...why? Take CLEVELAND! |
09-15-20 | Nuggets +7.5 v. Clippers | Top | 104-89 | Win | 100 | 10 h 8 m | Show |
Denver vs L.A. Clippers 9:00 ET Clippers (-) over Nuggets- Los Angeles was having so much fun and then they looked at the scoreboard and saw that they had a 19-point lead and they started thinking about the Lakers for the second straight hame and blew another chance to end this series. Yep, well Denver was only thinking about surviving. But, this Los Angeles team has never won anything and knows that they still have to prove themselves and will taking nothing for granted this time around and add the Clippers are 21-7 ATS following a straight-up loss. Take L.A. CLIPPERS! |
09-14-20 | Titans v. Broncos +3 | Top | 16-14 | Win | 104 | 12 h 3 m | Show |
Tennessee at Denver 10:10 ET Broncos (+) over Titans- Denver was so excited a week ago with their added offensive firepower in explosive receivers Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler to go with a fresh Melvin Gordon who sat out most of the 2019 with the Chargers and a returning Drew Lock who went 4-1 as a starter in the final five games last season. The Titans have Derrick Henry was held to 28 yards on 15 carries in a 16-0 loss in Denver last September and are just 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings. Take the BRONCOS! |
09-14-20 | Steelers v. Giants +6 | 26-16 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 17 m | Show
Pittsburgh at New York Giants 7:10 ET Giants (+) over Steelers- New York has a new coach and hopefully a new attitude after winning just four of 16 games last year. Pittsburgh of course played the 2019 season without Ben Roethlisberger who is returning to the playing field after a 12-month rest. The Steelers were 8-8 last year without 'Big Ben' while New York is looking for improvement from Daniel Jones (3,027 yards passing) and another solid season by Saquon Barkley who has accounted for 3,469 scrimmage yards the past two seasons. Pittsburgh is only 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 games as favorites while the Giants are a pitiful 1-10 ATS as home underdogs. Something has got to give...with 77,000 New York fans cheering at home...take the GIANTS! |
09-13-20 | Cowboys v. Rams +2 | 17-20 | Win | 100 | 19 h 1 m | Show
Dallas at L.A. Rams 8:20 ET Rams (+) over Cowboys- From what I hear from pundits, media and public is that this is the Cowboys year. Dak Prescott is secure and Dallas is ready for next step. Maybe they are and this game would be a great start taking down the Rams in Los Angeles as the christen their new stadium. The home team 6-2 ATS and the Rams are 12-3-1 vs NFC, but just 5-12-1 ATS in their last 18 as underdogs and 0-7-1 ATS as home underdogs. This will be a historic debut for SoFi Stadium as the 5-Billion dollar joint will be empty and the goof is it will happen again next week in Las Vegas and there will be zero fans in attendance. Will it matter, I don't think so. Take L.A. RAMS! |
09-13-20 | Cardinals v. 49ers -6 | 24-20 | Loss | -119 | 15 h 10 m | Show
Arizona at San Francisco 4:25 ET 49ers (-) over Cardinals- I've heard it too many times now and I can't help but feel this trend is about to turn. It has been 10 years now that the Super Bowl Loser is 0-10 ATS in Game 1 if favored by less the 8-points. I expect Arizona to be a 'public' choice with Hopkins coming to team up with Murray and they are 10-4-2 ATS in their last 16 as underdogs. San Francisco is also just 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 home games as favorites. The 'number' just are stacked too high and will title and fall over. Take the NINERS! |
09-13-20 | Clippers -8.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 98-111 | Loss | -102 | 3 h 39 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers vs Denver 1:00 ET Clippers (-) over Nuggets- Los Angeles was having so much fun and then they looked at the scoreboard and saw that they had a 15-point lead and they started thinking about the Lakers. Yep, well Denver was only thinking about surviving. After that the Nuggets played 'desperation ball' and found gold and out-scored the shocked Clippers by 21-points for the 111-105 win. But, this Los Angeles team has never won anything and knows that they still have to prove themselves and will taking nothing for granted this time around and add the Clippers are 21-6 ATS following a straight-up loss. Take L.A. CLIPPERS! |
09-13-20 | Jets +7 v. Bills | Top | 17-27 | Loss | -111 | 12 h 46 m | Show |
New York Jets at Buffalo 1:00 ET Jets (+) over Bills- Last season when there was a pre-season the Cleveland were the 'hot' item and they went out and laid an egg, well this year's Browns are the Buffalo Bills. Talk is how it's the Bills time to take over the AL East with Tom Brady gone and the Jets and Dolphins being who they are. New York has their eggs in the Sam Darnold and Le'Veon Bell basket who are both looking to bounce back from disappointing seasons. Jets were 7-9 (not that bad) last year and although just 7-17-1 ATS as road underdogs the dog is 8-2 ATS in this series. Josh Allen has yet to fulfill expectations and the pressure is increasing every day. Take the J-E-T-S! |
09-13-20 | Eagles v. Washington Football Team +6 | 17-27 | Win | 100 | 12 h 43 m | Show
Philadelphia at Washington 1:00 ET Swampers (+) over Eagles- You know sometimes I look for trends and other reasons to justify my choices and what I have to say about this match-up is I could find little rational in taking Washington. Philadelphia is 5-2 ATS in their last seven as road favorites and they are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings. The 'Swampers' have rookie Chase Young running down quarterbacks and Dwayne Haskins running down field...hey I can dream and pray. Take WASHINGTON! |
09-13-20 | Seahawks v. Falcons +1.5 | 38-25 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 40 m | Show
Seattle at Atlanta 1:00 ET Falcons (+) over Seahawks- Week One in NFL action and anything cam happen even home dogs winning outright. I get so scared when thinking of betting this match-up especially of I have Atlanta which I do! Russell Wilson has been a pain in the neck for me going 11-4-1 ATS in his last 16 road games and Matt Ryan since the Super Bowl collapse the Falcons are 0-4 ATS in Game One. But, Atlanta rebounded from a 1-7 start and then closed by winning six of the final eight and are 104- ATS as a home underdogs and 5-1 ATS in their last six games as dogs. Seattle is 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six overall. Take ATLANTA! |
09-12-20 | Western Kentucky +12.5 v. Louisville | Top | 21-35 | Loss | -115 | 21 h 43 m | Show |
Western Kentucky at Louisville 8:00 ET Hilltoppers (+) over Cardinals- Last season two 'new' head coaches took over struggling programs and show the most improvement and biggest turnaround in the entire NCAA. Western Kentucky under first year coach Tyson Helton brought his club from 3-9 in 2018 to 9-4 and a bowl win in 2019. At Louisville after Lamar Jackson left the Cardinals dropped to 2-10 and rebound under Scott Satterfield to 8-5 both clubs improved by six wins. Last season the Cardinal went to Nashville as a 11-point favorite and now at home after winning on the road 38-21 they come up the same number. I believe the oddsmaker is telling 'us' W. Ky has a shot. They are 6-0-1 ATS in the last seven road games and 36-16 in their last 52 as underdogs. Louisville is 4-1 ATS in their last five non-conference games but just 4-9 ATS as home favorites. Take the HILLTOPPERS! |
09-12-20 | Rockets +6.5 v. Lakers | Top | 96-119 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 47 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Houston 8:30 ET Rockets (+) over Lakers- Well, when I hear a team has 'no shot' and everyone has counted them out and are starting to look toward the next matchup funny things can happen. James Harden has been his usually playoff self which is so sub-par (just 2 field goals in Game 4). Houston hasn't changed much in recent seasons they will try and out-run you and out gun you and when they are 'on' they are tough to beat. The problems with shooting teams is the streaks they incur. Really no pressure here on Rockets most thinking they are already dead...Take HOUSTON! |
09-12-20 | Duke +20.5 v. Notre Dame | 13-27 | Win | 100 | 15 h 12 m | Show
Duke at Notre Dame 2:30 ET Blue Devils (+) over Fighting Irish- Hey, why am I able to say 'Fighting Irish' when I can't say Orangemen. Oh well, last season Notre Dame destroyed the Devils 38-7 while the last time these two met under the Golden Dome Duke upset the Irish 38-35 in 2016. Different folks this time around for both sides as Duke is coming off a 5-7 season missing a bowl game for the second time in four years. But, what this game will be known is that it is the first Conference game ever for formally independent Notre Dame now a member of the ACC. The Irish are 7-2 ATS in their last nine home games and the Devils are 10-3 ATS in September but just 1-4 as road underdogs. Still, Duke needs to atone for last season's embarrassment. Take the BLUE DEVILS! |
09-11-20 | Celtics v. Raptors +3 | Top | 92-87 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 25 m | Show |
Boston vs Toronto 9:00 ET Raptors (+) over Celtics- The well balanced Boston Celtics in the back of their minds have to be thinking 'what if' that miracle shot that won Game 3 fell short. Instead of a commanding 3-0 lead the Celtics now find themselves 3-3 and in a do-or-die game. Kemba Walker had one of his worst nights of the season and still it took Toronto two overtimes to defeat Boston to tie the series. Karma is a bitch...take CLIPPERS! |
09-11-20 | Nuggets +8 v. Clippers | 111-105 | Win | 100 | 8 h 48 m | Show
Denver vs L.A. Clippers 6:30 ET Nuggets (+) over Clippers- No. 3 seed Denver is once again down 3-1 in a playoff series and most regroup immediately for the series to continue. The Nuggets need to get off to a quick start as the trailed the entire game in the last meeting. The Clippers are where they expected to be and are anxious to play in the Western Finals and will be playing with confidence and the knowledge that they have some leeway with a 3-1 in games advantage, Take NUGGETS! |
09-10-20 | Texans v. Chiefs -9 | 20-34 | Win | 100 | 7 h 39 m | Show
Houston at Kansas City 8:20 ET Chiefs (-) over Texans- Kansas City returns 17 of 22 starters and that is very unusual for a Super Bowl Champions as player develop big egos and believe the 'grass is greener' elsewhere. Of course the storyline in this meetings goes back to their last meetings when the Texans blew a 24-0 lead in the playoffs and were destroyed 51-31. Normally one would think that this is a 'big' number considering Houston was a playoff team slat season but Jim O'Brien has a way up coming up short. Sure he has Deshaun Watson but what he as GM has done to the roster is like blood letting. He's killing this team softly with his actions. The best I can say about this matchup is that the road team is 9-3 ATS so these two do play tough against each other but tonight it won't matter. Take KANSAS CITY! |
09-10-20 | UAB +14.5 v. Miami-FL | 14-31 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 40 m | Show
U-AB at Miami-Fl 8:00 ET Blazers (+) over Hurricanes- There are many questions surrounding this Miami Hurricane team that has been turmoil for nearly a decade. From campus shootings gang rapes and other egregious offensive Miami jettisoned their coach and handed the reins to Marc Reich who returned to his amalgamate only to leave a year later. But, shooting and criminal offensives are down and so are the wins. Under first year head coach the Canes dropped their final three and closed the season 6-7. UAB who was out of NCAA football a few years ago was 9-5 last season losing it's final two games the final in the championship game. This year is UAB that has lost a player to a shooting as linebacker Allen Merrick was a life that mattered. This season they opened with a 45-35 win over C. Arkansas. With a game under their belt would gravitate toward the Blazers but their is an X-factor that I have yet to mention. Transfer D'Eriq King accounted for 50 touchdowns 36 passing and 14 running with the Houston Cougars and is now behind center for Miami. Even with King until I see a more disciplined Miami team that has more fight than dog in it I'm taking the points! Take BLAZERS! |
09-10-20 | Lakers v. Rockets +5 | Top | 110-100 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 56 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Houston 8:30 ET Rockets (+) over Lakers- When looking at this series I get the feeling that the :Lakers are blowing Houston out, but that's not the case as the series is just 2-1 LA and today is Game 4. Houston hasn't changed much in recent seasons they will try and out-run you and out gun you and when they are on they are tough to beat. The problems with shooting teams is the streaks they incur. All that goes by the wayside while Rockets play the Lakers as they dominated L.A. in recent years and are 17-10 ATS in the last 27 meetings and the Lakers are 6-10 ATS as favorites and just 6-11 ATS in their last 17 games overall. Take HOUSTON! |
09-09-20 | Clippers -8 v. Nuggets | 96-85 | Win | 100 | 11 h 55 m | Show
L.A. Clippers vs Denver 9:00 ET Clippers (-) over Nuggets- The difference in this series for the Nuggets compared to their last series against Utah is Jamal Murray. Against the Jazz Murray posted games with 50,42 and 50 points in three straight games but as of now he has scored 17 or less in three of four games with a low of 12 points in Game 1 of this series. L.A is 7-3 ATS as favorites and 17-8 ATS overall in their last 25. Take CLIPPERS! |
09-09-20 | Raptors +3.5 v. Celtics | Top | 125-122 | Win | 100 | 8 h 22 m | Show |
Toronto vs Boston 6:30 ET Raptors (+) over Celtics- The well balanced Boston Celtics are one win away from the Eastern Conference Finals and the Raptors find themselves in the same position as last season, down 3-2 in a seven game series. Both these clubs have been great all season long and trends say that both of these clubs are worthy of a wager. Even with Serge Ibaka in a walking boot the Raptors will be all in. So take TORONTO! |
09-08-20 | Lakers v. Rockets +5 | 112-102 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 28 m | Show
Houston vs L.A. Lakers 8:30 ET Rockets (+) over Lakers- Houston who has not had the respect of NBA pundits who just don't believe in 'small ball' and little respect for any team that doesn't play much defense. All that goes by the wayside while Rockets play the Lakers as they dominated L.A. in recent years and are 17-9 ATS in the last 26 meetings. Houston is 5-2 ATS in their last seven as underdogs and the Lakers are 5-10 ATS as favorites and just 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall. Take HOUSTON! |
09-08-20 | Heat v. Bucks +4 | 103-94 | Loss | -106 | 7 h 56 m | Show
Milwaukee vs Miami 3:30 ET Bucks (+) over Heat- The NBA's No. 1 seed is still on the brink of elimination as Milwaukee just hasn't lived up to expectations once again in the NBA playoffs. Last season the Bucks were ousted by Toronto after taking a 2-0 series lead and this time around the have shown their weakness. What is their weakness...Giannis Antetokounmpo. The League MVP and Defensive Player of the Year just can shoot beyond the arc. He was exposed in the 2019 playoffs as a poor 3-point shooter and this year has been even worse. Giannis who's 3-point shooting is 3-14 has left too much slack. With virtually no shot at winning this series the Bucks can play relaxed and I expect more from them today. Take MILWAUKEE! |
09-07-20 | BYU v. Navy +1 | Top | 55-3 | Loss | -104 | 19 h 45 m | Show |
B.Y.U. at Navy 8:00 ET Midshipman (+) over Cougars- As always there are a number of ways to approach any game as there is here. BYU has one of the more prolific NCAA passers in Zach Wilson who has thrown for 3,960 yards in two seasons the second of which he missed significant time due to injury. Navy of course is a ground game school (go figure) and led the nation with 360 yards per game in 2019 but now they will be without Malcom Perry who ran for 2017 yards of an overall 3,700 team yards rushing. It won't matter and I'll tell you why after I slip this in. Navy is 7-1 ATS in their last eight at home and 13-3-1 ATS in their last 16 overall and add that the Cougars are 0-7 ATS in their last seven as favorites, but those are not the sole reason 'we' should have the Middies. You know, during the COVID time and even without it the Navy does not take days off. They are together all year long, this is a job, it is their service and they are in sync and have an early season advantage over the others. And by the way, if the line moves Navy is 20-8 ATS at home as favorites..Take NAVY! |
09-07-20 | Celtics v. Raptors +1.5 | Top | 111-89 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 2 m | Show |
Boston vs Toronto 6:30 ET Raptors (+) over Celtics- I can't help but think the Celtics had in their minds that they were leading this series 3-0...and then OG Anunoby changed the playoffs gods over to his side and Boston has been sunk ever since and they know it. How's that sound...we have seen it happen. I could support my instincts with more fodder and stats but they won't matter in the 'Bubble'. So take TORONTO! |
09-06-20 | Rockets +5.5 v. Lakers | Top | 109-117 | Loss | -104 | 11 h 44 m | Show |
Houston vs L.A. Lakers 8:30 ET Rockets (+) over Lakers- Houston who has not had the respect of NBA pundits who just don't believe in 'small ball' and little respect for any team that doesn't play much defense. All that goes by the wayside while Rockets play the Lakers as they dominated L.A. in recent years and are 17-8 ATS in the last 25 meetings. Houston is 5-1 ATS in their last six as underdogs and the Lakers are 4-10 ATS as favorites and just 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games overall. Take HOUSTON! |

09-06-20 | Bucks +2.5 v. Heat | 118-115 | Win | 100 | 5 h 21 m | Show
Milwaukee vs Miami 3:30 ET Bucks (+) over Heat- The NBA's No. 1 seed is on the brink of elimination as Milwaukee just hasn't lived up to expectations once again in the NBA playoffs. Giannis who's 3-point shooting is 2-13 has left too much slack. With virtually no shot at winning this series the Bucks can play relaxed and I expect more from them today. Take MILWAUKEE! |
