Boston at Miami 8:30 ET Heat (-) over Celtics- A re-match of last tears playoff series where the Heat won in five games brings huge star power to the NBA East Finals. These two met four times this season with the Celtics winning three times with all wins coming in April while Miami won their game in December. Boston did manage to go 4-0 ATS the spread and now find themselves an 8-point underdog. With an extra days rest and a defense that shuts everybody down I give the nod to the Heat. Take MIAMI!

Oklahoma City at San Antonio 8:10 ET Spurs (-) over Thunder- It was April 11 when the Lakers defeated the Spurs for their second straight loss as they were resting their starters for a playoff run. San Antonio had actually won 11 straight before coach Popovich rested his players and they have won 18 straight since then and now 29 of their last 31, but 29 in-a-row when at full strength. Not only have the Spurs gone 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings against the Thunder but they are also 11-4-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings in San Antonio. Spurs are 28-2-1 ATS at home and are averaging 106 points when playing as hosts and allow 93 per contest. Take the SPURS!

Philadelphia at Boston 8:00 10 ET 76ers (+) over Celtics- What is there for me to say about this game that you don't already know? Boston has the skill set and Philadelphia has youth and desire. We are all aware that if one of these teams were to win in a blowout it will undoubtedly in the Celtics. The 76ers just don't have the offensive firepower to win in that manner but they can beat you with defense. Phillies must play the type of game they did in Game One of this series when they did everything but win the game in their 92-91 loss in Boston. Tough call in this one but the 76ers are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 meetings against the Celtics. Take the points with PHILADELPHIA!

Los Angeles Lakers at Oklahoma City 9:30 ET Thunder (-) over Lakers- Well, it finally appears that there is a rift among the Lakers after their fourth quarter collapse in Game 4 against the Thunder blowing the lead to the Thunder at home. Kobe Bryant once again was critical of his teammates after scoring 38 points in a losing cause admitting that he might have to 'do it alone' from here on out. I believe he was referring to Pau Gasol who failed to score a points or a rebound in the fourth quarter during the Lakers collapse. Add that the Lakers are just 14--24 ATS on the road. Even with Mario Chalmers having a career day Miami was not able to overcome LeBron James and Dwayne Wade's failures at 'crunch' time. Indiana has now established a dominating inside game with Rot Hibbard taking control (19 points, 18 rebounds, 5 Blocked Shots) while Miami continues to fail from 3-point range (5 for 42 11.9%). This in a game where Andrew Bynum shot just 2 of 13 from the field and the Thunder could not take advantage. Memphis at LA Clippers 4:30 ET Grizzlies (+) over Clippers- When reviewing the statistics of Game two it's difficult to understand how the Clippers don't have a 2-0 series lead as they shot 57 percent from the floor but were pounded on the offensive boards losing that battle by a 16-4 margin. There is a conflict of trends and styles here as Los Angeles committed the second-fewest turnovers this season while Memphis lead the league in steals and forced turnovers. This number appears rather short to me as the Grizzlies are 0-4 ATS in their last four road games and only 1-3-1 ATS in their last five meetings. Vegas is giving Memphis the edge and I will stay with them. Take the GRIZZLIES!

LA Lakers at Denver 10:30 ET Nuggets (-) over Lakers- The Lakers held serve winning the first two playoff games at home and must now travel to Denver where the Nuggets have one of the strongest advantages in the NBA. This season Denver wasn't a huge point spread winner at home but their advantage here may be in the fact that the Lakers were so bad on the road where they were just 12-21 ATS. Kobe Bryant seems especially effected in Denver (maybe because of prior crimes) as has shot only 13 of 51 from the floor including 2 of 12 from 3-point range. Take the NUGGETS!

Chicago at Philadelphia 8:00 ET Bulls (+) over 76ers- The Chicago Bulls just fell apart in the second half against Philadelphia in Game 2 as it looked like they just could play without Derrick Rose. But, in reality that is now the case as Chicago is 18-9 without Rose this season and they even held an eight-point lead at the half. The Bulls went cold and the 76ers were blazing hot that resulted to the second half blowout win for the 76ers. Chicago was the league's top rebounding team this season and were out worked on the boards in Game 2 as Philadelphia held a 38-32 edge. That will not happen tonight. Look for the Bulls to work hard at both ends of the floor and post a win here. Take CHICAGO!

The Celtics missed their first 19 3-point attempts on the series and then closed by hitting three of six. Boston will be all business here. Take CELTICS!

Miami at New York Knicks 7:00 ET Knicks (+) over Heat- The New York Knicks have lost 12 straight playoff games haven't won an NBA Playoff game in over 12 years with with the injuries piling up it certainly doesn't look like they will break that streak tonight. Miami has dominated New York in both playoff games so far and with Amar'e Stoudemire, Iman Shumpert sidelined along with Jeremy Lind the Knicks will be playing short-handed. Their injuries leave New York with only two of their starting five, Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler. Still, New York is 14-5 without Stoudemire and 20-6 ATS in their last 25 home games and 19-8 ATS in their last 27 overall. At the Madison Square Garden it New York time to rebound. Take the KNICKS!

The question on everyone mind is what kind of emotional state are the Grizzlies in after such a huge collapse. In the process Memphis had it's 11 game home winning streak snapped and now must regroup and realize that three teams have blow 18-point leads or greater and all three including Dallas last year made it to the NBA Finals. Look for Memphis to bounce back big-time. Take the GRIZZLIES!

In Game 1 the Nuggets shot a dismal 25.6 percent from the field as Andrew Bynum had a record setting defensive performance with 10 blocked shots. Los Angeles is already thin at forward without World Metta Peace of Crap sidelined and will most likely be without the services of Jordan Hill who has been charged with assaulting his 'girlfriend.' With or without him on the court the Nugget will make a stand here. Take DENVER!

Indiana shot just 34.5 percent in Game 1 missing their final nine shots failing to score the final 4:05. Orlando is satisfied winning the first one and won't have the same intensity in Game 2. The Clippers have been in the post-season only four times since moving to Los Angeles in 1984 and they have only won one playoff series. Atlanta follow that with a loss to the New York Knicks but bounced back with two wins over the Clippers and Mavericks. Boston may have made a mistake allowing Atlanta to capture the home court advantage as they have confidence in their ability to win on the road as they are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 away from home. The Hawks will be without All-Start center Al Horford and Boston could be without Allen who missed their final nine games. New York at Miami 3:30 ET Heat (-) over Knicks- There can be no denying the Knicks are greatly improved under Mike Woodson as they are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games and they have won and 'covered' five of their last six including their last three. Miami meanwhile, has been playing possum dropping three of the last four both straight-up and against the points and in most of those contest they have rested a least one if not all of their 'Big 3' LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. With the generous points in hand here many should feel that New York is worthy of a play as the road team is 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings. Don't get sucked into this trap!
